That hospital seriously needs to step up its security details. CODE PINK is when a baby has gone missing, and they will not let ANYONE in or out of the hospital until that baby is found. CODE PINKs should never happen in the first place, so there are usually several measures regarding how newborns are handled...including double-checking wristbands on infants being carried toward any exits, and the IDs of those carrying them.

In the town I live in we use tags and code purple. For code purple when a child is getting abducted the tags shuts and locks the doors even if you step out of the ward. Then a head nurse push a purple button under his/her desk and it contacts the police. The doors remain until the cop shows thier badges. It has a reader on the outside of the doors instead of being inside in case.

The hospital where i had my kids were real strict to prevent babies being taken. Me and my babies had matching bands so the bands had to match and no one was allowed on the maternity floor except fathers. The maternity ward was locked to the public. There was only one entrance to the ward and a security guard was stationed at the door. No one got on the floor without an ID,. That was back in the early 80's.

No way could Gladys walk out of the hospital with a newborn baby. And no, even if she did she wouldn’t avoid charges by returning it. She would be charged with a child abduction/kidnapping. Gladys needs to be locked up, preferably in a psych ward!

By the three minute mark, I'd give up and tell her, "You know, you are pushing so hard on this 'you HAVE to eat it ANYWAY' point, that I cannot help but be forced BY YOU to believe that you WANT me to get sick and possibly miscarry my baby. You keep harping on this subject. You keep pushing it. You keep INSISTING, despite being told REPEATEDLY that it is NOT ADVISED. So naturally, that is all I can think anymore. Goodbye!"

The fact that Gladys tried to have Marina eat foods that she’s NOT supposed to eat during pregnancy AND she kidnapped someone else’s baby to give to Mina, her daughter?
This woman’s crazy AND entitled! She’s also trying to gaslight Marina, so that’s also a huge red flag!
I honestly think Gladys was TRYING to force Marina into having a miscarriage! What a psychopath!
Also, to talk about her own grandchild like that AND just sees Marina as NOTHING more than a “breeding cow” so she can give babies to her daughter with the claim “Oh making a baby’s SO easy, you can do it again!”? Disgusting! I’d disown her AND file a restraining order just to protect my family!
Plus, look who’s talking about being a “Monster Parent”, you hypocrite!
Monster in Laws like Gladys should be put in their place, and she got that in the form of karma!

I know the justice system is a load of bull shoot, but she should’ve been in jail, if this was real. Several cases of kidnapping people get arrested and sent to jail. One woman stole a baby right out of a hospital and raised her for several years till she was found out and sent to jail.

Most hospitals have lock-down in the neo-natal ward. You have to request the main door to be opened, both in and out, from the nursing staff. There are no side doors so enrties and exits are tightly controlled.

Gladys did so many things that are just unforgivable.
Gladys was blocked, and she still found a way to contact Marina. Thats harrassment, Gladys. Marina can also press charges for harrassment, and in some states, attempted murder of an unborn baby.
That didn't come from a place of love. That came from a place of desperation and codependency.

Most hospitals require matching bracelets to let a baby out of a hospital. Can’t just walk out of the hospital with one in most hospitals. I suppose it could still be possible on small hospitals but I doubt it. If you loose a baby, the hospital is going to be sued for much more money than a up to date security system would cost. Also- kidnapping is a criminal charge not a civil although she would be libel for both. After a good amount of time in jail she would have a civil trial.

I fully understand being terrified of giving birth. I unfortunately had to suffer through 4 days of labor when I gave birth to my daughter. And that whole thing about due dates it’s only an estimate, I remember my doctor telling me that I could give birth anytime 2 weeks before or after the date given. I know that I ended going into labor about 3 weeks after the date the doctor gave if you count the fact it took 4 days for her to be born. Also most babies look kinda like an alien right after she came out. I remember my mother saying that I was the odd one out in the nursery at the hospital since I was the only one born with a full head of hair where all the others were “bald as a bowling ball” as mom said.
