Kidnapping, minimum, and it may rise to the level of child trafficking. And she couldn't even grab the right baby. As that great philosopher, Bugs Bunny, said, "Ehhh...what a maroon!" Definite sociopath. At least she got busted by the law and thereby set the wheels of karma into motion.
No way could Gladys walk out of the hospital with a newborn baby. And no, even if she did she wouldn’t avoid charges by returning it. She would be charged with a child abduction/kidnapping. Gladys needs to be locked up, preferably in a psych ward!

This woman’s crazy AND entitled! She’s also trying to gaslight Marina, so that’s also a huge red flag! I honestly think Gladys was TRYING to force Marina into having a miscarriage! What a psychopath! Also, to talk about her own grandchild like that AND just sees Marina as NOTHING more than a “breeding cow” so she can give babies to her daughter with the claim “Oh making a baby’s SO easy, you can do it again!”? Disgusting! I’d disown her AND file a restraining order just to protect my family! Plus, look who’s talking about being a “Monster Parent”, you hypocrite! Monster in Laws like Gladys should be put in their place, and she got that in the form of karma!
I know the justice system is a load of bull shoot, but she should’ve been in jail, if this was real. Several cases of kidnapping people get arrested and sent to jail. One woman stole a baby right out of a hospital and raised her for several years till she was found out and sent to jail.
I understand WANTING to do anything for your kids. The urge is surely there. I also understand moderating that urge so you don't become an overprotective lunatic that harms the child by over sheltering them.
Gladys is quite a few candles short of a chandelier. But after she was arrested, how is it that she's not rotting in jail? The writer left that gaping plot hole hanging in the air. Ooopsie.
Most hospitals have lock-down in the neo-natal ward. You have to request the main door to be opened, both in and out, from the nursing staff. There are no side doors so enrties and exits are tightly controlled.
Plenty of parents don't have the family live with them or stay at theirs to help them with the baby. They can visit and help if needed / wanted by the parents of the baby
If someone tried to do this to my hypothetical daughter, they would feel the wrath of momma bear. I hope this woman would understand. After all, I would do anything for my daughter including k ill for her when someone threatens her like that.
Gladys did so many things that are just unforgivable. Gladys was blocked, and she still found a way to contact Marina. Thats harrassment, Gladys. Marina can also press charges for harrassment, and in some states, attempted murder of an unborn baby. That didn't come from a place of love. That came from a place of desperation and codependency.
Most hospitals require matching bracelets to let a baby out of a hospital. Can’t just walk out of the hospital with one in most hospitals. I suppose it could still be possible on small hospitals but I doubt it. If you loose a baby, the hospital is going to be sued for much more money than a up to date security system would cost. Also- kidnapping is a criminal charge not a civil although she would be libel for both. After a good amount of time in jail she would have a civil trial.
Totally unbelievable, be it a psychiatric institution, but she wasn't mentally impaired, or most likely a prison, there is no way Gladys would be free after kidddknaping a new born, no way in hell!
Her excuse to Marina, but you know as a mother you'd do anything for your child. Yeah, and for Marina to protect her own child she has to keep Gladys away, Gladys doesn't' seem to understand that part.
Whats with these mother in-laws trying to give their pregnant dils raw food knowing they cant have it i mean i get they are supposed to be evil mil but still
I will let you in on a little secret. Although Mina was undergoing fertility treatments there was actually no reason for it in the first place. The eggs in her body said “No way am I’m going to become a baby if that crazy woman is going to be my grandma.” As soon as the family cut ties with her they have a baby on the way. 🤣😂🤣
Forgiveness should be given. Forgiveness does not mean what she did is forgotten and nor should anything change. She would still be a pariah but forgiveness should be given. Forgiveness is more for the victim than the perp.
Kidnapping and child abduction. MIL needs to be in jail for 20+, plus sectioned for insanity. Lastly law suit for emotional damage. Bye life, bye home, bye freedom, bye family and friends.
Okay first thing, you don't critique my babies looks, and they shouldn't make the parents Sad. They Should be effing Pissed Off. If Gladys thinks the baby boy is so ugly then she would be told she is hereby CUT out of his life permanently.
I fully understand being terrified of giving birth. I unfortunately had to suffer through 4 days of labor when I gave birth to my daughter. And that whole thing about due dates it’s only an estimate, I remember my doctor telling me that I could give birth anytime 2 weeks before or after the date given. I know that I ended going into labor about 3 weeks after the date the doctor gave if you count the fact it took 4 days for her to be born. Also most babies look kinda like an alien right after she came out. I remember my mother saying that I was the odd one out in the nursery at the hospital since I was the only one born with a full head of hair where all the others were “bald as a bowling ball” as mom said.

At the hospitals where I live in Los Angeles California even the parents are not allowed to carry their infant when they leave the hospital. A nurse carries the baby out and makes sure the vehicle’s infant seat is secured properly before placing the infant in the seat and securing the baby. If the parents do not have the correct type of child seat or none at all the hospital staff will not allow them to take their baby home with them.
Having one kid and suddenly acting like knowing it all and being above criticism? Sounds like my SIL.
Its true though! After labor. I SUDDENLY turned into a momma bear with no patience, rats butts and gave my last..f word.. with the medical bill. You try to tell me ANYTHING about my child and how she's raised you MIGHT get your head back after I bite it off. She had a prob at 2 and I went to 6 different er's and emergency cares trying to get a Dr to figure out what was wrong. We got it figured out but no one could tell me NOTHING about being over protective, delusional etc. FiX my BABY or find someone who can. 😫 but her? She gets all the patience in the world. Everyone else gotta figure it out after 3 times explaining.
Hospital's don't allow babies to be taken from the maternity ward without the Mother, and kidnapping lands you in jail!
What if the mother died?
terrible beginning but a wonder end. congrats to both of you!
I'm confused. MIL said she got it from a restaurant and then says she shopped for the fish herself.
She shopped at the restaurant. To se people that's effort... but then they do have mistakes in the stories
@@trixmania Mistakes in these stories is an understatement.
Just because you would do anything for your child doesn't mean you should do everything for your child.
This story is a reality for some women who leave an abusive husband. The husband will tell his mothet a huge lie about the wife, making the husband the victim. The woman's mother-in-law may then attempt to take the children.
This conversation lasted way too long for me....MIL and that passive aggressive crap about raw fish got ME heated.😆🙌🏾😮💨
High death rate? Was she threatening to kill that little boy?!
No way could Gladys walk out of the hospital with a newborn baby. And no, even if she did she wouldn’t avoid charges by returning it. She would be charged with a child abduction/kidnapping. Gladys needs to be locked up, preferably in a psych ward!
Weird no one mentions in " helping " her childless daughter, she would have devastated her son, either by causing a miscarriage or kidnapping his son!
Why is she not in jail. Settlement or not kidnapping is a federal crime
Marina is lucky Gladys didnt go total womb raiders on her and lock her in a basement and give her a forced C section to give the baby to Mina
By the three minute mark, I'd give up and tell her, "You know, you are pushing so hard on this 'you HAVE to eat it ANYWAY' point, that I cannot help but be forced BY YOU to believe that you WANT me to get sick and possibly miscarry my baby. You keep harping on this subject. You keep pushing it. You keep INSISTING, despite being told REPEATEDLY that it is NOT ADVISED. So naturally, that is all I can think anymore. Goodbye!"
The fact that Gladys tried to have Marina eat foods that she’s NOT supposed to eat during pregnancy AND she kidnapped someone else’s baby to give to Mina, her daughter?
Gladys should have been arrested and sent to prison, I don't understand these stories that settle for money instead of jail time.
The "DEATH RATE" sounds like a threat. If i had heard anyone say that they would never see my child and be kept away. (Forcibly if needed)
What were 2 cats doing in the fridge?!
A person who knows how the mil behaves would simply thank her for the kind and generous gift and change the subject.
Exactly 💯. Why poke the bear?
"I read it in a magazine so it must be worth trying!"
GD!! how's that any different from "I Read It On The Internet So It MUST Be TRUE!!"
🤣🤣
Gladys is quite a few candles short of a chandelier. But after she was arrested, how is it that she's not rotting in jail? The writer left that gaping plot hole hanging in the air. Ooopsie.
No way you can walk out with a baby.
MIL needs to know that kidnapping in some cases punishable by Death
Any person who argues with their MIL can't be a decent person, eh?
Any MIL that says their grandchild is ugly is far from decent.
Apple Land - the place where nobody goes to prison when they commit felonies.
Or put to Death on some cases
NOW THE CATS ARE IN THE FRIDGE!! OMG R U trying to kill cats?
Most hospitals require matching bracelets to let a baby out of a hospital. Can’t just walk out of the hospital with one in most hospitals. I suppose it could still be possible on small hospitals but I doubt it. If you loose a baby, the hospital is going to be sued for much more money than a up to date security system would cost. Also- kidnapping is a criminal charge not a civil although she would be libel for both. After a good amount of time in jail she would have a civil trial.
The funny thing is, the outcome would have been the same if Gladys did take Marina's baby.
THAT'S A GOOD CASE OG KIDNAPPING THAT'S A HUGE FELONY THAT RACK UP SOME SERIOUS PRISON TIME THAT'S A NO NO KIDNAPPERS SOMETIMES GET SHOT
Whats with these mother in-laws trying to give their pregnant dils raw food knowing they cant have it i mean i get they are supposed to be evil mil but still
Now kitty in dryer! NOOOO! Kitties have suffered and died this way, please always know where your pets are before doing laundry
How in HxxL did Gladys get that child out of the Maternity Ward? Those places are watched 24/7 every where.
I like the part where she tries to neg the baby's looks in order to get the mother to not want them.
Sounds like Gladys actually brought the rest of the family closer. Bonus being Gladys is no longer part of their lives.
Once again, good evening from Oregon 💜
Since when you can settle kidnapping with money? I am confused why is Gladys not arrested ?
Forgiveness should be given. Forgiveness does not mean what she did is forgotten and nor should anything change. She would still be a pariah but forgiveness should be given. Forgiveness is more for the victim than the perp.
Why would she leave the room for dinner….? They bring it to you.
Kidnapping and child abduction. MIL needs to be in jail for 20+, plus sectioned for insanity. Lastly law suit for emotional damage.
Bye life, bye home, bye freedom, bye family and friends.
Gladys is not so glad anymore, her evil machinations got her on the street without a family.
Had mil may she still rest in peace ssss
Okay first thing, you don't critique my babies looks, and they shouldn't make the parents Sad. They Should be effing Pissed Off. If Gladys thinks the baby boy is so ugly then she would be told she is hereby CUT out of his life permanently.
FYI, Code Adam. The baby's ankle bracelet set off alarms. That lady is screwed.
No kitty no! Pets can suffocate in plastic bags...
Ahhhhhhh that MIL
Hey Gladys there is a little white jacket and a padded room with you name on it
"I read it in a magazine so it's gotta be worth trying." Are you serious?
