Rule of the thumb: if a person owes you money, don't lend them more. Saves lots of disappointment.
Agree 💯💯💯💯
Seriously she knows that she's not good for it why does her dumbass keep paying for everything I'm confused on why she still confused!
My farher once said that every time you lend money you should write a contract. Even if you borrow money to family. Someone with clear intentions will have no issue with that. I'm doing that for last 30 years and there was no problems so far.
Facts! One of my siblings owes me 3k in the last 8 years she only paid me back 160$ lol her excuse is that she is a mom and it's expensive raising kids. Funny enough, she got money to go on vacations twice a year and to buy luxury items.
@@DoomPotato This depends a lot on the culture, eg in mine till not so long ago verbal agreements were a thing (and still are to a degree) so people are expected to uphold verbal agreements and written contracts could be seen as a sign of mistrust (and still are by the older folks, eg my grandma is 100% "contract = person thinks i'm some sort of crook"). We butted heads with western countries a lot on this too.
"It's money, relax!", says Madeline. I doubt very much she would have that same attitude if it was HER money.
There is always that one “friend” that takes advantage of a free meal.
oh yeah!👍
Omg
Everytime they talk to someone who abjectly refuses to listen to what they’re being told and just bulldozes over the conversation, I want to pull my hair out.
Same but I want to pull THEIR hair out. I’m not sacrificing my hair

Even though one of the voices was quite squeaky, the reader did a good job reading the story for a great change!
Unless someone put a credit card down you would never be able to reserve an entire restaurant.
My former friends were super jealous when I bought a house. They had nothing to show for, except flashy designer clothes, gadgets and jewellery. They would spend most of their days partying and visiting expensive restaurants.
So they could’ve bought a house if they just saved up?
Smartest thing Anna did was move secretly out of town, though it was a miracle her children didn't spill the beans. Pre-school children sometimes gossip worse than their Moms.
Frankly they probably didn't tell their kid until the move was happening. Easiest way to get your preschool age kid to keep a secret is not to tell them.
If she lives 4 hours away how did she get take-out from the French restaurant??
@@arleneclark6369 I'd say that was a goof on the writers' part.
Me: "Wow! Party-crashers self-inviting themselves to a restaurant reserved by a bossy mom-friend who resents the OP."
Karma: "This is a bit complicated, but yeahhhh..."
I wouldn't have called or answered any texts from any of them.
@@cgamejewels Right!
Madeline, Lisa, and Katie all belong in the bum moochers club just for being the way they are.
I believe they are called begging choosers
I hear that all the time, but it never made sense. The phrase is "Beggars can't be choosers" meaning they can't be choosy about what they get. So not a begging chooser but rather a choosy beggar.
They _belong_ in prison.
Making a reservation for a dinner party under another person's name without them knowing is just really sleazy.
Real sleazy😮
Madeline has the entire function and self awareness of a tapeworm.
Hence forth, all parasites will now be called Tapeworm.
Not one but two Karen's in this story. Katie wasn't even trying to listen to her at all and Lisa make a reservation under her name which is ridiculous.
She needs a new friend group
@@66DoodleGalThese stories are the first I heard of “Mom Friends Group”. Sounds stupid.
Put Katie and Lisa in a boxing ring, and let them slug it out. Sell tickets to get the money for the dinner bill.
Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots! 🥊
Certainly toxic people😅😅
@@diamondjim7560ikr?! Must be a rich socialite thing! Please, if these stories are any indication at all of what the moms are like, I'm grateful I was not included! 😂😂😂
Who legit makes a reservation of an entire restaurant under another person's name like that? Someone as crazy as Lisa is the answer. But seriously, who does that?
Exactly!
Katie not the brightest spark in the woods either. Inviting loads of people
@trixieandrews860 Yeah, that's so true
What restaurant would allow itself to be reserved on that scale without a credit card beforehand.
@TomTerrific-vm3qg good point. What restaurant would let that happen
So Katie heard “We resevered it under another’s name.” and thought “Anna reserved it herself!” How many braincells does she have?
none. you see she invited anyone and everyone.
Her two neurons fought each other and both lost.
@@conjumonblue6450 that made me laugh out loud thanks 😂😂
i just got an amber alert for her missing brain
@@debraveney94 no you ain't lol that brain was gone long before amber alert

You’ve only got yourself to blame your evil plan backfired!
Why would anyone think you can crash a dinner of a family you don't know?
Also NO means NO.

With someone so determined to be delusional as this person is in the first two minutes of the story, I would be screenshotting every bit of our conversation, and CC-ing them all to myself and to a couple of friends so that I had copies proving how very obvious it was that I had denied everything and wasn't going to go along with her schemes. Because someone THAT delusional is DEFINITELY going to try to pull something!
st 1: conversation without comprehension
st 2: million dollar question when will "next time" be
Story 1: That's called identity theft, and considering the bill, would probably fall under federal jurisdiction. I mean, prison time unless Lisa paid for it. Otherwise, imma gonna make a reservation at a fancy restaurant inder Elon Musk's name. He'll pay for it, right? 😅
Story 2: Minnie the Moocher gets her comeuppance. If "it's just money", why is she so afraid to get her husband to pay for it?
Story #1, wouldn't the restaurant need some kind of a deposit to reserve a whole restaurant? Credit card needed? Just saying.🤔
@@lorettataylor521 yup. And people who show up would pay their own bills too
@@lorettataylor521 Yeah, especially if they didn't know you. If you were a regular, even, it wouldn't matter as you are tying up the whole restaurant for the night. So, collateral of some sort would be required. Personally, the whole story sounds fishy.
I sometimes wonder if they get these stories from some high school creative writing classes or something. Because some stories sound like they are from people without any life experiences.
Oh you're a Cab Calloway fan too?! 😄
@@mysteryelysian She was a real hot hootchie cootcher, you know. 😆
Since when does someone's financial situation become a random person's business?
If anyone has ever tried to invite yourself to a free meal at a wedding and then noticed there is a guest list? Usually private type parties and full restaurant parties would ask for identification and perhaps a credit card for your drinks not included ?? Once they have your credit card and ID they can ask others who you are! Usually a lack of a invitation says everything!!! I have worked as a greeter in a restaurant and anyone wanting just to reserve one of their six separate private dining rooms were all required to place a deposit with just the reservation alone! I can not see anyone reserving entire restaurant without deposit ! !
I like these two stories of these crazy women!
I’d just say: Believe whatever you want if that’ll help you sleep at night
There will always be that one person who “forgot” their wallet in a friend group or “I’m saving up for something so could you buy this for me and I promise to pay you back”
"...I just ordered several dishes from that frech restaurant as take-out..."
... While living in a city 4 hours away? ... C'mon guys... get your story straight.
Story #2: At the end when it said that Madeline left the state and dropped out of sight it's no surprise. She understood that she had used up her friends, her husband, and any goodwill that had existed. Time to move on to new hunting grounds.
I live by the motto "if you're to broke don't go" and with that I also say this...I'm SOOOO glad I'm a homebody. I HATE owing people money for 1 and also it's not worth it if you have to rely on other people to foot the bill.
Always pay people back if you want to be on there good side
Wow two mom friends stories in one go and I'm here for it. They're my favorites.
I can’t believe that Anna still have the patience to talk to her friends after what had happened. For me, I will just ignore their messages & block their numbers. Or even change new phone number. Moving house is Anna personal life, don’t need to let the whole wide world know about it. Why her friends make it such a big deal 🤬😤. 😤
As far as the first story in this video is concerned, Ms.OP have never claimed to be poor. Otherwise she and her family never could have moved to New York City. It cost a lot of money to live there.
It always surprises me in these stories when people think moving to a block of flats (which I think is what a 'condo' is) is a good thing. I can't think of a much worse place to live.
A condo is different from a "block of flats". A flat, or apartment in the US, is rented, whereas a condo is owned by the occupants. There are rental apartment buildings which can have several, even hundreds of apartments, but they are not considered condos.
Interesting. I didn't know that. Thanks.
@davidjackson2580 when you buy a condo, you pay for it like buying a house. But you technically become a co-owner of the entire building, really, so you also have to pay a monthly fee for the upkeep of the building and grounds.
Same 🙃 I looked at condos in high-rises but I didn't liked it at all. Never ever can I imagine a condo as a dream home
@@elteescat That's one of the reasons that I would not want to live in a condo. I don't want to live somewhere with an HOA, or COA in this case. I don't like busybody wannabe dictators telling me what I can do in my own home.
Are you effing KIDDING ME!? She steals your identity, uses it to rack up a 12k bill, attempts to frame you from the start, and thus,
*_SHE DIDN'T GO TO THE COPS!?!?_*
Do you even realize how much of a felony that is!?
These 3 women Anna had been speaking to are DEAF!
😂
Hello from Florida
Hey 👋 from Louisiana 🐊
That’s so wrong to make a reservation n someone’s name & refuses to pay. Katie was also n the wrong. Lisa demanding she show up. She’s not her boss. Last story the girl is a leech. I’d never let her borrow n the first place. She got what she deserves.
These people need more backbone and refuse to pay for someone who has burned them once - and make it very clear they will NOT pay from the very beginning.
Good morning, everyone. Really good story
These mom friends groups are sketchy as hell.😅
Karma: (dressed like a waiter) Here’s your *cold* dish
I heard these stories before and they are fun to listen to again.
The only takeaway from all these videos is that no one listens to the protagonist.
You can’t book a hotel room without giving your credit card number so the second story doesn’t even make any sense
What is that person? Three years old? Why do the other ladies keep putting up with her? They are part of the problem by constantly paying her way.
Lisa: I won't except no for an answer.
*Yea. You will. :) Goodbye. *blocked.*
Story 2 always record when you make important deals such as money
mad Madeline is now alone, still thinking other people have to pay for her, a big mistake !
The first one is Classic! Excellent work!
In this case with this story I think that all the mother should pay for her they knew what type of person she was they knew she wasn't going to pay them back but yet they still let her go on a trip anyway knowing she was going to do this they should be held responsible
They kept enabling her bad behavior instead of cutting her off cold turkey. Mostly Kelly kept enabling her. the others wrote her off. They should have just told her no and if she showed up anyways. Then, she would have been on her own.
My dad had a saying for this situation. "The ears hear but they do not listen. So the mind and body act by falling off a cliff."
Story 1: Two karens? Double trouble and then some. What's the bet that flies on the wall were chugging down popcorn as they watched the epic battle.
No wonder OP moved out of that neighborhood. If that's what her "friends" are like, I dread to meet her enemies.
Story #1: What is with all these antagonists named Lisa lately? LOL
Story #2: Lack of plannin' on one person's part does NOT make for an emergency on anyone else's.
Karen would be too easy
I guess Lisa and Karen are buddies now! They travel the world wrecking havoc 😅
I hate these kind of people. I used to go to brunch in a beautiful cafe each week, and people would always invite themselves and of course wanted me to pay. What a bunch of tools 😊
Madeline: "Nobody want to make friends with someone who give the cold shoulder. You know who I'm talking about right?"
OP: "Well, everyone hates you who trying to leech off of others and don't want to pay them back! Ask the others if you don't believe me!"
I can't believe Madeline's husband accept reason like "the other mom's will pay for my expenses"...
Madeline is Minda M. from Tempe, AZ.
Pfft. She forgets twice, she wouldn’t be invited on anything. Also, I would be outside her hotel room door making sure she grabbed her wallet, I’d check it to make sure she had cash, and I’d carry it for her to the restaurant.
So the plan is to make a reservation under someone else's name and expects them to pay. That doesn't make any sense. Like if they don't show up. Unless you have the other person's finicial information you cannot make charges. The entire thing is stupid.
Madeline of the second story. How did she reserve a room without a credit card or cash? Hotels now asks for credit card information or pay a deposit.
With friends like this, who needs enemies.
If I'm completely honest, when she was saying 'I know I've been a bad friend' and 'punish me when we get home', I felt a touch sad for her, because I can relate in a way; I have autism and CONSTANTLY get on people's nerves and rely on others, and all I can do is beg them to understand it's not on purpose - maybe not let me off the hook, but just simply understand.
Please do a second part of this story thank you
I just would have told Karen and Lisa to mine their own business. Stay in your lane or be roadkill!
Restaurant story was crazy 😅😅
I never lend anyone money. If someone needs a few dollars and I can afford it I just give it to them. No headaches that way.
Call me a "Psychic", but I KNEW she would NOT have her wallet!
So she didn’t pay for the room and didn’t bring any money with her? Are you kidding me? Bye bye Felicia!
Why do mom friend groups exist? This is why you don't be "polite" to people. Just straight up tell them they're not your friends. Katie and now Lisa. Now, we know where Katie got the idea that Anna was going to an expensive French restaurant from. Two people who don't know how to listen. I wish Anna would have had some foresight and called the restaurant to tell them NOT to reserve anything under her name without her approval and confirmation number. $12k bill?!!! If she moved to another city, why did she order takeout from the restaurant in her old town? If it was a secret, why did she tell Katie where they moved and when? Why is Anna telling Lisa about the secret? All the restaurant had to do was take Lisa, Katie and crew to court. Nice! block and change of number.
Never let people who have a habit of mooching borrow money nor pay for them if they "forget their wallet". Next time! NEXT TIME! There will be no Next time! Am I being left out of something? YES!!! Stop tip toeing around being afraid that you're going to hurt someone's feelings. The only thing that's going to happen is you're going to go gray and develop illnesses from stress. Why is Kelly still encouraging Madeline? It's like giving an alcoholic a drink. Stop enabling bad behavior. Learn to recognize when people are using you and are not really your friend. Madeline is so immature and acts like a little kid. Kelly is still paying for Madeline! WHY!? How could Madeline have left her wallet again when it's supposed to be in the hotel room with her? She was lying about the wallet. This is why you don't lie. Madeline is a professional scammer. Madeline lies to her husband too. Don't bring God into it. Madleine, you purposely took advantage of Kelly and the other moms and your husband. I'll be surprised if he doesn't divorce her after this.
I want to wish Everyone a Happy Thursday from Tacoma Washington!( Stay Safe)
NEVER pay for her! Refuse to even sit with her! If she tries to sit with you get the manager and have her thrown out!
There's a rude awakening coming for Katie.
Also, she's in dire need of a hearing aid 🙄 Same goes for Lisa. A couple of cackling hens.
Madeline, it's only a lousy $10,not $10,000! Way to make enemies.
I have seen people wear out their welcome and use people so many times that all the sudden no one was able to help anymore.
Wow with her 1st 2 callers with friends like these who need enemies 1st one is a moocher and the 2nd is insufferable. Her demands need to be booted.

Why did Anna order take-out from a restaurant in her old town? NYC has a ton of restaurants ; why not order from there?
Who said she did so? She probably ordered takeout in NYC.
