- Today we are super excited to bring you an interview with a very special national champion, Sav Schoenherr! Sav is a 6th year transfer for LSU who has played such a big role to the success of this team in terms of her gymnastics, but also her leadership. She’s here to talk about her iconic sloth fall on beam, the emotions of the entire day, and what it feels like to make history for LSU Gymnastics by bringing home their first NCAA title in program history!
I've watched all of the climb series and knowing they won, each episode I ugly cry. This was such an emotional season. I've been rooting for LSU all season. I can't wait for next season.

What was so crazy about Savs beam was that yes, she had that moment, but if you take that moment out- it was seriously the best beam I've ever seen from her! Her confidence was like ON and that mistake seemed to just brush off. She handled it. Her positions and just everything was so so good. it's too bad she isn't getting credit for such a beautiful beam because she had that mistake. I mean I get it, but you know what I mean lol
Sav was so clutch on beam all post season! We're glad she's been able to laugh off the mistake!
