When I was 2-3 I remember when my mom was still training me to wake up and use the bathroom but sometimes I would wet the bed and I remember the moments when she would wake me up so soft and gentle in the middle of the night maybe 2 am to change my bedding but the specialist part is when she would place me in the tub and run the water while I was still half sleep and was me up and sometimes she would just let me sit there and listen to the water and play in it I feel like that moment stay with me forever and I adore it so thank you for bringing back this memory, feeling and soothing peaceful sound God bless you ❤
Love this one! It really captures the hollow drumming that causes the most chills for me. Thanks so much for all you have done for us water lovers out here. The sound is deeply comforting and touches me on a spiritual level. I use it daily to help with peaceful relaxation and the deep sound creates a sanctuary when times are tough. I can close my eyes and visualize a tub slowly filling with shimmering water to complete the experience.
A late October Saturday evening and the wind blows the dry leaves across the roof below the second floor bathroom window. A light rain begins as the sky continues to darken. I enter the bathroom and start the taps running in the large roll top cast iron bathtub, not too fast but just enough to get the deep drumming in the bottom of the tub. I wrap a towel around me and shiver at the sound. It’s not a school night so I can take as long as I want. I open the window on a crack and hear the rain and smell the leaves of autumn. A cool burst of wind chills me and I look out into the darkness and feel safe and secure. After a few minutes I close the window and put the blind down. Now I take my place on the bath mat and put my back against the cold tub. Immediate shivers and chills overcome me. I hug my knees, close my eyes, and listen to the water sounds surround me.
A summer evening and my Dad surprises us after dinner by telling us to put on our bathing suits, grab a towel, and meet him at the car in five minutes. We are heading to the beach for an evening swim. We run like lightning and climb into the back seat. The ocean is less than five minutes away and the tide chart says it should be low tide. Dad parks and we fly across the empty beach tossing our towels in the air. The tide is low and we run into the water to get out to the waves so we can body surf. I try to keep up with my brothers and father but they are bigger and stronger than me. I love these long summer evenings when even the sun seems to hate going to bed. After an hour Dad calls an end to our fun and we head back to the car and sit on our towels. Once at home the bathroom is occupied with everyone grabbing a shower to wash off the salt and sand, but I wait until they finish because I know I will have the bathroom to myself. Once everyone is done I have the tub for my very own. I close and lock the door, work my way out of my suit and wrap a towel around me. I start the taps running slowly until I get the sounds I desire. The distant drumming of the water on the tub bottom, almost muffled, is what I am after. It lifts me and chills me. I perch on the edge of the roll top tub and look down on the shimmering water as it tries to make its way towards me. I pull another towel around my shoulders and over my head, and shiver. The water is working its magic once again. Steam begins to rise from the water and warms my bare feet. The towel over my head muffles the sounds even more and makes me feel like I am miles away. I close my eyes and try to become part of the water. I am safe and at peace.
@@WaterisJoyI know what you mean, it was (and still is) that way with me. I found these videos a few years ago and it was like a new world opened up for me; there were so many like minded folks and I never knew they existed. I always thought I was the only one who loved the sound of water falling into a tub because it would calm my mind, and help me to think and dream. Now, there are so many asmr water videos, there is an abundance to choose from. You are not alone.
You are not alone, this is a sum up of all the videos and all the stories shared in these comments. I can even say that this is a new phase in my life where i discovered these videos, as i thought i was the only weird person who likes this. But damn this makes me feel good knowing that others share the same nostalgia
I am born on November 10th 1978. I have always enjoyed running water sounds since the mid 80's. I love bath tubs notably for the running water sounds. Listening to such videos keeps me young in spirit. I guess as a Scorpio - Water - is germane to the sign as I've read.
This a nice addition to ur other ASMR vids. I must confess, I use them, not only to fall asleep, but to maximize my bathing experience. It just give me a type of full, immersive “surround sound”. Awesome.
You always manage to get it perfect. Best sleepy noises on the net, hands down. I recommend this channel to everyone who asks me for something to help insomnia.
Thanks again Sounds! The audio quality is excellent; very immersive and clear, with that sense of depth and richness. What would we do without this channel?!?!
i just want you to know that i have a playlist of about 12 videos that i use for sleep and about 8 of them are all by you and are my go-to’s for a quick and relaxing transition to sleep. you’ve immensely helped my insomnia and overall mood about sleep. thank you so much 😊🙏🏽please keep it up!
I seem to enjoy my baths more than my usual showers at the moment; the one at my house is a big freestanding one, and I feel that they satisfy me more because I can relax my body in the warm water with lots of bubbles, which I do for about an hour, then I would spend the last 15 minutes happily washing myself before getting out, and they're fun and relaxing for me. ;) Plus it helps me if I have trouble sleeping; I find that if I have a bath before bed, I can fall asleep readily similar to how Petrol instantly catches fire when you expose it to a spark or naked flame. The only times when showers seem to satisfy me most of the time is if I'm really dirty, I'm very hot and sweaty or if I need to get the loose hairs off me after my haircut.
Whoa, it must be because of association with baths = relaxing, because this makes me like suuuuuper drowsy. Not the regular ASMR sleepy either, like an actual biological response drowsiness 😴
A bath running while laying next to water heater would be good to with movements so it sounds like it did when u were a kid at night and mum would have a bath
As nice as it sounds, it feels weird looking at a tub with no water in it while hearing water filling it up. Any way you can repost with water filling it but it’s on a loop for video editing?

When I'm alone in life, your sounds bring me comfort and peace. This is right up there, I feel safe and warm.

Sounds wonderful. It’s nice knowing there are others who appreciated the bath as I did as a child. It was my sanctuary where I felt safe and sane.
