these were great. so many good results. the first round also had some wins. it’s twice the surprise reward of film. not just waiting to see how shots turn out it’s how TWO shots interact
Loved this message, Ben. To my eye, these images were beautiful. Your selects were magical -- somehow evocative of True Detective Season One to my mind. To struggle to achieve one’s goal is not failure. It is part of the process of succeeding.
Pretty cool. One of my most favorite photos I took of my wife, was a triple exposure shot of her I took, while fracking around, with my Elan ii I had just picked up.
Ben, don't be too harsh on yourself I thought some of those shots were amazing. Loving the channel and content, why....because it's unique and different to all the others, keep on doing what you are doing, I can't enough of it. No disrespect to other UA-camrs but I genuinely think you're one of the best in terms taking a damn good shot!!! Have a good weekend, thanks for sharing, inspirational as always!!!!!!
Alles Gute!
Camera/Cinematography in Hollywood is definitely a meritocracy and it shows even in your UA-cam work. Your films make me forget about the Camera, as I should. I like what you've shown us, here. Creating cool-looking multiple exposures in camera is tough and you're succeeding. I just bought an F6 on eBay (like new from Japan) and now, after watching this episode, I want to try its multiple exposure feature. My preference, though, is to keep my model's gaze closer to the horizon.
Reminded me of those 1960's b/w mag images that inspired me to take up photography. What was really interesting to me though was witnessing the authentic experience of the shoot.
I'm new here on your channel. Shooting on film is art-way better than digital. There are some really nice double-art-exposure portaits in this video. Well done lying on the ground. Greetings from Austria where Sigmund Freund and Arnold Schwarzenegger are from.
saw the first vid too 😃 thought todays images were good but maybe less exciting (spontaneous?) than the first ones. maybe cuz the first ones were planned but came out unplanned as distinct from planned and came out as planned. if you know what I mean...😂😃 spoke to a friend of mine last week who lives in Russia (I live in Zurich). we discovered that, since we'd last seen each other, we'd both become q2 owners. we then discussed youtubers with q2's and discovered a mutual favorite q2 channel... 😃 you're world wide Ben, well done!
Well done these images are great.I think as you say composition may be the key.I've been trying this for a while but as self portraits, i need a subject but the wife thinks i'm mad.Cool stuff, thanks.
Thanks for the inspiration Ben - I plan to make a lot more mistakes as our shackles are being loosened next week! UK lockdown and all that sh*t........
There is no way to practically do Double Exposures on analog M cameras. I wish I could, the M6 is my favorite camera of all time. Thanks for watching Gustavo.
I wouldn’t be disappointed with those, I thought they were superb and really inspiring.
Thanks Tom
I just can't stop thinking about your legendry frames! I am also amazed seeing the outcome of the analog devices! Great stuff!
Many thanks 🙏🏼🙏🏼
@adventureStaley you're most welcome 🙏

Appreciate that Kris 🙏🏻 yes!
Thanks for taking us along your double exposure journey. I have never tried it but you got curious now.
Thanks Damon! Give it a go.
Pretty cool. One of my most favorite photos I took of my wife, was a triple exposure shot of her I took, while fracking around, with my Elan ii I had just picked up.

Definitely like your message...try, fail, try again. There were some nice images and I especially liked the ones with a prismatic effect.
Thank you very much.

I dig that. Thanks for the feedback Al. This is how we roll with shoots. Super casual. Get ready for more portraits on the channel here.

Just filmed a cool Q2 portrait video so look for that in the future. Cheers.
Fully agree with Kris here, Some of those pics are magical. And Ben, keep that lady. She seems a truly gorgeous person.
Thank you BP. Appreciate you. And yeah, you're right.

Thanks for watching Simon! Go get some.
If you ain’t rolling around in the dirt and making your models think you fell, are you really a photographer? Excellent video!
Haha 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Great photos for sure. Fuck the algorithm. Do what you want.
Thank you very much Cameron.
I really like them. What settings did you use? I got a nikon401f and i’m into doing something similar
Thank ya. I set the camera to aperture priority and underexpose a stop. Easy peasy
@ thank you!
I think they are brilliant. I agree, take the shots that you like, to hell with what others say you should do.
Hey thank you very much
hey found it, nice one keep playing around love the content 👌
Thank ya!
Mystery portraits. Your double-exposure photos bring peace...
🙏🏼🙏🏼
these are beautiful
Gracias
Plenty of good images, I would consider your experiment with double exposure successful 👍
Thank ya thank ya!
Cool shots! Are you still looking into medium format? I’m interested to see what your perspective and approach on the format is like
Thanks Gus. Yes. And maybe 4x6.
Next I am going to tackle processing and scanning my work. Then move on to larger formats. Thanks for watching.
Well done!!
Thanks for watching this deep cut!
Cool video. Edison said: I haven't failed. I've only found 10,000 ways that don't work.
Haha. I like that one! Thanks for watching!
I like them, think more you try the better you'd get.
I think you’re right Roy. Thanks for watching!
Why did not you do it with your leica M6?
There is no way to practically do Double Exposures on analog M cameras. I wish I could, the M6 is my favorite camera of all time. Thanks for watching Gustavo.
