OMGEEEEEE! After two days of rigging/derigging, loss of sleep, following possibly twenty tutorials and randomly parenting every flipping combination of eye to mesh, mesh to bone, bone to rig, rig to bone and almost ten file versions, add-on re-installs etc this actually bloomin' worked for me... FINALLY - IN JUST THREE MINUTES and 13 seconds!!! I musta watched more than eight hours of youtube tutes, some of them six years old :(. just to get this far and will never get that time back!!! THREE minutes bro - your genius simple explanation has my models eyes rolling like a boss! Eternal credit coming your way :)
Thanks Dale. I'm new to blender and have spent days rigging and re-rigging trying to to get the eyes to work. The updated face rig didn't like my mesh and the base version didn't have the eye's in the voxel groups. Finally found you video, three minutes later and the eyes work. Big thanks again
OMG. You saved me so much time. My problem was with the eyes deforming when I moved them around. It was weighted with the eyelids and I couldn't figure out the right way to do it. I did your method and it fixed the problem. Like instantly!! Thanks so much.
