I truly think Phoenix Wrights intelligence is greatly underrated. He solved the DL6 and SL9 case and defeated Manfred Von Karma the king of prosecutor's and the chief of the police when he was just a rookie lawyer, he then proceeds to corner an assasin in Justice For All, and defeated an evil sprit in Trials and Tribulation. He comes up with the most insane theories with reasonable logic behind it on the spot.
“It's only natural for living creatures to fight to protect their own lives. But what makes us human is that we fight for others. But who do you fight for? How hard must you fight...? That's the true measure of what human life is worth. We defense attorneys are warriors who are constantly challenged by that question. Even when the battle is over, and the bonds that connect us are severed... We always return... Time and time again.”
I like the detail where the name changes from Ryuzaki to L Lawliet, signifying the point where Phoenix finally figures out L's real name W edit and take 🔥🔥
I completed the Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney trilogy two weeks ago, and it’s become my favourite game of all time. It’s just so suspensful and unpopular opinion but Justice For All is my favourite. That said, i don’t see Wright winning this one or does he have amazing feats in subsequent games?
I think he has good feats in "professor layton vs phoenix wright" because he had to use logic to explain magic in a medieval Era and prove what was seemingly impossible, possible. And I think professor Layton is extremely smart in his own right and yet phoenix was on par with him.
I completed Apollo Justice yesterday and it seems that Phoenix has improved his planning and strategies greatly. His overall composure is also so ahead of everybody else it’s hard for L to crack AA4 Phoenix down with pressure. I would still rate the games as: 2 > 1 > 4 >= 3. Still have to play AA 5 and 6 and AAI 1 and 2.
In the later games he has some insane feats. Just to name a few: solved a case that had gone on 7 years that the police had completely given up on since it seemed hopeless, took down The Phantom, an international terrorist and serial killer the authorities had been hunting for decades and yet were never able to track due to his beyond genius level intellect and ability to flawlessly impersonate anyone, overthrew the monarchy of an entire country which worships their monarchs like gods by proving the queen was a complete fraud, causing a country-wide revolution in the process, and by the events of Apollo Justice he is VASTLY smarter than in the original trilogy, being extremely skilled at manipulating and deceiving people for his own benefit, and basically never losing his composure and poker face under and circumstances. Also, Edgeworth, who he should be equal to, took down a whole international smuggling ring spanning several different countries around the world all on his own and stopped a mastermind plot throughout all of Japan run by the head of the Prosecutorial Investigation Committee.
Just finished investigations 1. Edgeworth as a protagonist is as fun as i expected it to be. He seemed a tiny bit off character though, as he’s kind of bluffing a lot like Phoenix does. That last case was LONG, but extremely rewarding. Alba just didn’t want to go down. Would place the game around ~ AA3 as an experience.
