The lowkey fixed one of my biggest issue with Alya in season 6 and that is the fact that her miraculous in its camouflage mode finally looks different enough from its active one.. Love how we can actually see it on her neck now cause a lot of times before it wouldn't make sense how we couldn't actually see it on her in some shots when other shots show it would clearly be visible

Finally a trailer from the london special and season 6, I'm excited for both of them
In the second trailer where we see Ladybug at the podium I’m positive she’s just letting paris know that monarch is gone and told the truth about the alliance rings which is what led to them being melted down and turned into the Gabriel statue.
What if the clip of Marinette putting away the earrings is from Stoneheart. This villain may have been traveling through time to find the most opportune time to take the Miraculous. And Natalie may help recreate the Miraculous that were turned into rings.

Oh also with the podium scene I just realized since it would explain plagg in her bedroom and why she puts her earrings away, maybe during the podium scene she tells Paris that since Monarch is gone Paris doesn’t need her and Cat noir anymore so she retires. That can also explain why she’s sad even though she accomplished her mission she’s sad that she won’t be a hero anymore and won’t see Cat noir again. Maybe there will even be a scene where Plagg says goodbye to Adrien. But after battling the new villain she realizes that things aren’t over and that’s the main reason why she returns the miraculous to everyone at the end of season 5.

That is Ironic I was just reading a Fan story only yesterday Where Marinette's "Princess Justice" form had the ability to use previous akuma powers tied to an object like Trouble Makers intangibility pen, or Stormy Weather's Lighting Umbrella and here we see something quite similar.
Incidentally there was a leak ages ago that said Lila/Cerise/Iris would have multiple villain personas - so that seems to possibly be the case.

The season 6 animation definitely looks quite janky, some of the shots look better than others, but one thing I like that seems to be consistent throughout is that the faces are very expressive. Some shots of Marinette also remind me of some of the show's earlier 3D concept images from like 2013 I think, that emphasize her asian features more, which I also like. Overall, while it looks rather low quality for the most part, I do think this new animation style has a lot of potential and I'm hoping it's going to keep improving as the show goes on.
The Animation frames seem miss-timed like there is some poor updates to the frame rate of the animation that isn't synced to the frame rate properly - perhaps a consequence of nut understanding the rendering pathway setting or leaving some setting in the wrong place for Unreal 5. It is understandable they are one of the first people to make a TV show with a piece of Videogame software after all.
The error reminds me of the scene transition stutters common in videogame cutscenes or the 50Hz animation frame rate in a 60 Hz contain problem that pops up on some games.
The end result is that the animation isn't times with the frame rater properly and it makes them look janky and miss-timed.

Theories for the special:
It just came up in my mind. So, lb is having a conference in the city hall so she probably would have told the citizens that gabriel is dead and paris won't be needing the heroes anymore and that monarch daddy is defeated. So, what if lila just comes up and reveals the truth abt who monarch daddy was and that lb has lied to them this whole time. That could really create distrust between lb and the parisian and it would put Marinette in a tough spot too which would make me sad 😢.
Theories for S6:
I just saw one tiny detail in the trailer that the girl who is looking at the birds 🕊️ was actually disabled bc when she was running in the stadium 🏟️, her legs had some kind of machine inserted. And the birds she was looking at are Eurasian birds (not my theory, but i just found it on Instagram😅).

If I may ask, why does Alya's hair look like it was somewhat unceremoniously hacked with a cleaver because it looks a little uneven at the end.
Her outfit is interesting, it's the hair throwing me off a bit.
As for Marinette probably exaggerating about Adrien hiding things, this feels like the pot calling the kettle black because I don't recall her being honest with Adrien about Gabriel, hmmmm 😏😏😏😏.
As for the Akuma in season 6, I think something happened to this adorable new girl with prosthetic legs regarding probably her athletic career as a runner and her coach maybe wants to inspire her to keep going and as a result got akumatized.
I certainly hope Marinette had nothing to do with that, and I thought she grew out of her little possessive streak in regards to Adrien.
Please tell me she seriously isn't transitioning to be a possessive girlfriend because that won't end well.
As for Chat Noir turning into Chat Grey, I think Lila may have found a way to use the nullify the heroes' powers temporarily through the butterfly mask somehow or be able to access the akuma's power herself through the mask.
Lila is certainly more terrifying and unfortunately more competent than Gabriel ever was.
As for the London Special, I think Marinette as BugNoire broke the news to Adrien about Gabriel dying minus the part about him being Monarch|Hawkmoth, and Kagami knows something was bound to happen but probably didn't expect Gabriel to be dead.
Marinette feels devastated and guilty like she's the one who's hurt Adrien and that brings us to the scene of her hugging Nathalie then later we see her cry herself to sleep.
Later at night, we see the time villain getting the Miraculouses which I'm guessing cuts the scene to morning where Marinette wakes up to another changed world with neither Tikki nor Plagg in sight.
At that moment Bunnyx grabs her and shows her the situation.
As for how Marinette's suddenly getting the Ladybug Miraculous from her drawer, I think it's a situation like *EVOLUTION* and since the Ladybug miraculous is gone in the present time, Bunnyx probably sent her to a time she left the Miraculous in a drawer and the closest time I can think of that she left the Miraculous in a drawer is probably in *ORIGINS: STONEHEART* when Marinette wanted to give up being Ladybug.
As for the scene in Lila's lair, I think the white boxes may be some ALLIANCE rings that she managed to get somehow because it looks like the box the ALLIANCE ring was in when Sabine wanted to gift one to Marinette.
Maybe Lila managed to smuggle some Tsurugi Tech from the manor when she went there.
However, I'd like to know who exactly Lila akumatized as I feel like they didn't come from the far future and something about the Time Akuma's movements in Marinette's room seem to imply that the person is somewhat familiar with who Marinette is even before finding out her identity.
Something tells me that while Lila may be making Akumas, it doesn't look like she's working alone as her real self.
Also, did Nooroo's voice sound different or was it just me?

So far it seems the only improvement is to lighting in some scenes. Everything else seems worse.
I think the London special is "important" in that it is the last gasp of the traditional presentation of the show. (unless they commission someone to do the Shady & Claw special in the same style.. I guess that might count.
I do wonder if they are legal reasons that apply to the ladybug show that wouldn't apply to say Lady Tiger or Lady Lion and so they could at least animate the shows in a style more compatible with the source material.

THE LONDON SPECIAL LOOKS SO EXCITING! I thought I’d be more excited for season 6, but the fact that we’re getting so much more detail about the aftermath of the wish and that we see Marinette confronting Adrien is really interesting.
I’m really really interested to see how the conference that Marinette is giving goes, because I wonder what exactly she’s going to say. I feel like we really just missed that in Re-creation, but I’m glad that it’s happening in this special instead honestly, where it fits better and there’s more time to give it

If you want to know why they changed it, I’ll tell you basically the models from the original animation was leaked. Probably people use them to make fake posters, fake content that people thought that was real so what they did was they had to change it because they don’t want anything like that to happen again so hopefully this helped
I think it is for licensing reasons as much as it is that Maya Power Animator stopped being useful to them making the show... oddly Maya was the 1st animation programme to get voxel hair rendering and that is supposed to be in Unreal 5 as an add on and they are not even using it as best as I can tell. I.e. the programme they are using before had decent hair and they only used it sometimes and it isn't any better now - Cat Noir hair doesn't even animate now.
i think we were expecting hair more like the Movie not a significant downgrade for it.

I knew Marinette didn’t restore the Miraculous right away. It must have taken her all summer to restore 14 miraculous to their original forms. Also the scene where she tells Adrien his dad is gone I can picture her saying “I’m so sorry Adrien but to help stop Monarch your father sacrificed himself.”

That seems likely.. shame they didn't use that as a way to introduce heroes again slowly - that might have been useful for the plot and also kept the sheer number of heroes away from each other's secret identities a bit better.
I expect the danger the Miraculous is under here - also has a bearing on why she decides to hand them all out.

I'm very excited for London special, but also very worried. I'm excited, because I would love to see post-wish aftermatch. Scenes they showed are so interesting and exciting - I love the drama, I love when characters go emotional, and I would love to have explaination why at the end of Re-creation everything is so dilly-dally sugar sweet.
BUT!
At the same time I'm terrified, because I know what Thomas Astruc is capable of. I'm afraid that Thomas will be trying to prove us something - and he is no stranger to such writing (is Chat Blanc and Ephemeral made to convince us that Adrien cannot fight Gabe babe?). With that, I'm worried that Thomas will try to convince us again Adrien shouldn't know that is dad is Monarch. My crazy theory is that time boy is Adrien, who learn what happened with his dad and Ladybug and got pissed off. It is very interesting story point, but I would love to have it explored in season 6 not in 40-minutes special.

9:40 it is already confirmed because Nathalie told Ladybug in the finale that she used the broken peacock miraculous, so Marinette definitely knows her involvement. Unless the writers try to pull a Representation on us where something major is revealed but Marinette doesn’t acknowledge it lol.

Akumatizing people for good (& the reason they turn bad is because of a broken Butterfly Miraculous) would be a crazy plot twist, especially in Lila's case.
But most likely, she just tricks them, & uses the power for bad & hurts them when they don't listen (we saw Gabriel do that to Evillustrator). Also, poor Nooroo was trapped in some kind of prison bubble at one point in the London Special trailer. :(

Miraculous won't be the same anymore with this new animation. I know they are trying to improve their production quality or whatever, but they could just improve the quality and not completely change the character models..I fell in love with those characters.😔

I feel like London Special will be great if the time travel shenanigans are not out of control.
Also it might be good like Paris Special. I honestly forgot about the Sci-fi element of the Reverse special and if you take that into account apart from the beginning scene, it is nothing much. I just wished we saw like a flashback when Betterfly was talking to the heroes in the sewers.
But holding onto that missing element can make you hate it. Thank god i keep forgetting about that. I hope they did not say the London Special is not a certain genre and don't deliver it (apart from time travel).
Also is it just me or most of the special is again taking place in Paris with going to Adrien as Bug Noire only thing focused in London. Will the villain see that and in that woerd room when Bug Noire leaves, mostly Tomoe is there, so will he meet Tomoe?
Hope at least we get to see Felix to find out what happened to him. Was he chasing Amelié who we saw did were the alliance ring.
