I've wanted a MK1 MX5 for so long, this makes me want to go and buy one tomorrow. I have an insignia for my sensible car, I'd absolutely love to have an mx5 as a project car. My Insignia is a lovely car, but I have no urge to do anything to it, I don't love it like my previous cars. If I had an MX5 I would absolutely love it.
Holy fuck---you have to have balls of steel to drive fast on those super-narrow roads. But you're having a good time, and who wouldn't? Top down, great exhaust note to listen to...
Sounds just like my MK2.5 1.6, mine has cobalt rear exhaust and straight mid pipe but not decatted. Just been playing out in mine in the rain, so much fun with a twitchy back end 😉 i like it but i want more power. Have you driven a 1.8 mate? Just wondered if it was even worth getting a 1.8
@@ProjectDriven if you watch to make it louder but a Malian axel back exhaust on. They are around £200 but worth every penny. The quality is Excellent. I wish i'd of put another Malian on my mk2.5. On my channel i have a couple of vids of the malian. One with cat, one with decat...
@@JustinD93 I looked into getting it but I thought it would be too drony but you can guage it properly from a video. Think I wanna do the front section of the exhaust next haha
@@ProjectDriven yea been honest 1st and 2nd gear were very loud, im actually a biker aswell, and i'd say it was almost as loud as my old Kawasaki Ninja ZX9R... AND that was loud... Have you decatted yours? A decat definitely makes a nice difference, what about a stainless manifold?

That's ok, it was a head mount. I always think it looks a touch too high. Would be cool if you could get a custom mount to have it somewhere just Infront of your chin

I don't know any breakers but there's an mx5 specialist in fressingfield and one in Ipswich. Dunno if they'd have bits
