You have perfectly summed up why I love my MX5 NA. You have to drive one to understand it’s perfection. This is one of the best videos I’ve watched on the NA.
Great video, love the production on it. I cannot wait to buy an MX5/Eunos now. Edit: forgot I watched this video and commented. Owned my MX5 NA 1990 for over 2 and a half years now. Loved every minute of it.
Love my Eunos S-Special, and you guys did a great job of expressing exactly how I feel about it. *The synth-wave music totally gets a like on it's own btw*
I believe the mk1 Eunos is the only one with power steering also? Got a V Spec Mk1 last summer, has all these little extras over and above the Uk car. Loving it. Only downside in my opinion is I'd love a 6th gear or OD as the high revving engine can get tiresome on long hauls. Admittedly it's not about long haul driving but just something that would be nice......! Great review btw. Subscribed.
Fun fact the miata was the first production car to come from factory with a note tuned exhaust because they wanted it to look feel and sound like a sports car i have a 1989 pre model mx5 with ac cruise control lsd headrest speakers and factory hardtop every box on the options list on the build sheet was checked and one more fun fact you can tell a 1990 hardtop from any other hardtop because in 1991 they changed the factory latches from a gloss black to a flat black
I would push imports anyway, eunos badges are more appealing IMO, but most will be driven and serviced well as opposed to pothole batterd rusty Uk specs
Do you have your seat all the way back? For the gas pedal, I have the seat all the way back, but then the clutch pedal is a bit far away. But I love my Miata. It’s a 99...
I'm around 5'10/11. I always thought I wouldn't want to be much taller in an MX5, however I know people well above 6ft driving one of these, if there is a will, there is a way!
The kind of performance this car produces is INDEPENDENT of speed...
Pretty much! Great fun!

A true love story
By far , the best MX-5 review I've watched to date , brilliant ! Thanks for posting Proud owner of a 1995 MX-5 Performance equipment package here .
4:52 reaching for that Honda shifter :P
Redstoner22 I think he was going to indicate at the corner but changed his mind but haha true

Lovely choice of car ;) Yeah the Bilsteins aren't the comfiest, but with the roof-down on a twisty road not much makes me happier. Happy motoring :)
That is one of the cleanest Miata's I've seen on UA-cam. Love the color and exhaust note!
Yes, i had the same car with the same spec. I lived in Hampshire at the time and I loved doing the type of drive you see in this video. Top marks!
this video is exceptional quality. well done
You guys introduced me to Chris Zabriskie, which I cannot thank you enough for. Also greeat video as usual
Yes, the man is amazing, I'd like to thank him personally myself! Glad you enjoyed the video as well.
Brilliant, I’ve got a mk4 but as soon as I have the room I will get a Mark 1

cwagon cwagon same,I'm trying to save up 6k for a legit one
This guy needs more subs
absolutely great video. felt like i was watching top gear or something!
I would push imports anyway, eunos badges are more appealing IMO, but most will be driven and serviced well as opposed to pothole batterd rusty Uk specs
The paint color is good as well
really nice review - exactly what i think about it & why i consider buying one :)
I really like my NB (mkII). It’s not perfect and I’m too tall for it but don’t care. Nothing else like it for the money.

Found an SR edition MX5 for sale in my area, wish I could afford it but it's just barely out of my range : (
Your headlights remind me of a 91 Firebird Formula I once had back then...
Out of interest how tall are you? Amazing vehicle reminds me of a good old classic British roadster.

Is that a Mk2 Nardi wheel? That's not from a standard SR
It is I believe
Audio is slightly off, or maybe it's my computer. Either way great video. :)
The fading is a little to intense, maybe its just the way youtube processes it.
car looks fantastic, but please remove the mouse trap. it's a safety thing!
but fr, the car is beautiful.
Sadly I no longer have this car, wish I did but simply can't afford to keep it all :( I think it would be worth a lot more today as well!
sounds like a ricer
