On my AMD RX Vega 56 I got better performance when using DX12, but for that I had to update the Windows 11 version to 24H2. At the current time, on AMD Polaris and Pre-RDNA GPUs, DX12 in this game is only possible with the Windows 11 24H2 version.

In my experience DX11 breaks HDR and has more stutters despite higher general performance. I'm curious what exactly the DX11 code path is and what it's doing since, as I understand things, DX11 has no support for any form of raytracing yet SH2 "DX11" still uses Lumen GI + reflections.
That’s true..but when I run it on dx11 I got more performance and the vram not really ridiculously eating the memory vram and less stutter to me compared to dx12..no hdr no problem I can tweak SDR and play with color setting

Just add the game in steam. Just click the + add games in the low left corner in your steam app and choose "add a non-steam game". Now you're good to go.
It looks like theres something wrong with dx 12 after u enter the apartments and other areas of the game hospital, apartments, strip club and so on run horribly with dx 12. And problem with dx11 is that it causes more stuttering which i might try to lock fps to 60 to see if that would help
@kracked5744 probably bad game optimization. On my laptop 3050 it would run at 25-30 fps on low. W dx12. Now on dx11 it runs on epic graphics at stable 50fps. With dlss on quality. And when i turned on frame generation on dx12 it would cause my game to crash. But it got the fps to 50. But it would constantly crash. I think the game is just badly optimised

i think that's because you turn on raytracing previously lol, i have tried with raytracing off in DX12, it's similar to DX11 graphically

more stable frametime and more fps but always fucking stutters ...
yea thats just the games poor optimization or probably actually UE5 traversal stuttering your seeing

i just use triple buffering and most of my stutters went away with vsync too
