- I’m opening the GREATEST Pokemon Mystery box ever made! Or at least that’s what Ray Cipoletti and Dylan Lefavor told me, two champion competitive Pokemon TCG players who went into their personal vaults and put this box together for us.
Yes, that’s right, this is the first ever Mystery Box that a Pokemon UA-camr has opened that was created by celebrity status Pokemon TCG Champions.

This video is a *perfect* way to promote the TCG. I think people forget that they are not *just* rare collectible cards. It's a game. A pretty awesome one, in fact.

Agreed was just thinking the same thing! Ive been playing the actual game a lot more, we just kinda carefully shuffle toploaders lol and use full toploader sets, so we can keep the integrity of the game and not risk any damage
@@Yolorub_vids i started collecting a few years ago too, and id say about a year ago i gave the game a shot. ive only played the online game but i assume its a great way to start playing the game. all the code cards you get in a booster pack gives you a pack on the online game
I recently started playing it online and I love it so much, I regret how many code cards I just threw away in the past!
@@rom-dozer3999 I feel that, I always sold mine or traded them for actual cards, I think online the advantage is that it's way faster, and there is no risk in damaging your real cards! Just a random idea Ive had but, wouldn't it be great if there was a way they could give us credit for all our physical cards to use online? Like, if every card in your pack also came with a tiny code on it to unlock the exact card? THAT right there would be just incredible!
The text inserts made this box SO much more dope! A literal guided tour through the history of Pokemon TCG. As a player/collector, this box made me amped to watch, and hats off to the two that put this awesome box together!

I thought this video would help with the playing vs collecting, but here we are again with the "umbreon collectors"
the very large majority of these cards are either graded or unplayable... this is all about collectibles.

Ok so I’ve got to say, that was the single most informative, educational and amazing piece of Pokémon content I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching. Thanks so much for putting this together and thanks to Ray and Dylan for their kindness. This has further ignited my love of Pokémon Cards (like I even needed any more fire) I literally had no idea that there were cards like that out there!!

Didnt know your channel but this video was recommended by youtube, its quite the trip down memory lane, especially the Vancouver worlds which was the first non-US based worlds event (location is close to the TPCi office in Seattle in case of emergency) and I was the masters HJ for the event. I absolutely adored the mystery numbered bag system with the cards detailing every step a player takes to get to the very top, youve absolutely earned my sub today good sir.

As someone who's always been into Pokémon, but never the tcg until recently... It was amazing seeing this history. There are cards here I'd love to obtain in my collection some day but more importantly... Just wow. That history of the championships, the related promos and reasons for them... The sentiment went behind putting this together was not lost, as it wasn't the value of the cards here that spoke out (even if they ARE huge... I don't know personally. Still new and don't know big cards. Besides everyone going ballistic over some weird orange dragon) but the history behind the items themselves... Congrats to the two of them, the project was very much a success!

New to the channel. This video popped up in my recommended videos. I am very new to Pokemon TCG. In my childhood I played the red pokemon Gameboy game and had a few cards but lost interest. A month ago I returned to Pokemon due to general interest in the fandom. My collection is small and I don't have a deck yet, I'm thankful for these videos so I can learn about the fandom that I'm falling on love with more and more everyday. Thank you.

Alright. This is super cool. My only hope is that Pat started focusing on playing more, of course when the events come back. Playing the game doesn't mean that you don't get to enjoy your favourite Pokemon, or Pokemon in general. I know a ton of people who collect and play simultaneously. I wish more people could get into playing, as it's soo much more fun that just ripping packs etc.

Awesome box love seeing those promos from different leagues. Pre release tournaments are so fun. I was going to them back when sun and moon first came out and meeting all kinds of people and players was a great experience. I mostly went to get packs early since I’m a collector but playing the actual game is fun too.

I haven't played Pokemon in years, I grew up semi-well-off and never hurt for anything but never had a lot of people to play with. I remember when the show released, I would sit in front of the TV for hours, the adventures of the cast kept me mesmerized. My father was angry marine who struggled with substance abuse, and my mom left us early on. But Pokemon offered an escape, I wish so badly I had gotten the chance to have the tcg adventure as a child, seeing this box was great, it gave me a peer into a world I could never truly see
Wow man I'm not even into Pokemon cards but I watched this whole video. I like checking out the cards I enjoy the art work...i can see the two guys that put this together for you put a lot of thought into it. This was cool to watch.

You know someone has seriously, for real, no joke, big dogs!, has gone ALL IN, on collecting when they started near the very beginning of the biggest Pokemon hype EVER and bought just about every product that still exists, sealed!!!!!!!!! Like holy cow!!! I think Pat found some special ways, people, and deals!!!! Because if he started around 2018, he didn't have a lot of time before everything got real expensive!!!!! Amazing!!!!

This video was really interesting and cool. When I was in college I worked at a store called Mediaplay and we started doing a weekly pokemon event. I ran it because I played MtG and no one else in the store knew much about card games. We didn't do tournaments, it was just a thing where you could come and play the pokemon tcg and get a free promo card. When the store closed we threw away thousands of the promos that hadn't been given out because the store manager wouldn't let anyone take them.
That is an amazing Mystery box! Please make collectors aware that 99% of mystery boxes are not like that! This is a significant collection all on its own.

Now, i get that these guys have probably accumulated SOOOO MUCH stuff through playing all these years, but they GAVE Pat the trophies and the medals to keep?? I can wrap my head around the extremely rare cards from the tourneys but damn, the trophies and medals and all that stuff i feel like he gets to use for the video but maybe has to send them back.

In watching this I learned something about the world of pokemon TCG I never thought I'd get the chance to learn about, I just thought I'd collect cards but now I'd like to learn about TCG more and more
