I always lump wynn and encore together like ventian and palazzo. They’re so similar and so close it’s all the same to me. I prefer encore because I like the rooms better.
I've stayed at Encore a few times in a few different room types (standard king, parlour suite and salon suite) and I like them but overall I prefer the remodeled/updatedd rooms over at Wynn. Two things I do like about Encore rooms are the houndstooth patterned wallpaper and the layout of the standard king rooms. I prefer Encore's check in area (both the regular check in and the tower suites check in), just more intimate and I love the red color. And the sculpture of Daphne turning into a tree in the lobby bar is kinda awesome. I think the dining at Wynn is far superior to Encore. Brunch at Jardin is great but for every other meal, I'm over at Wynn at Red 8, SW, Delilah or Wing Lei. Or in the Wynn Plaza Shops eating at Cipriani.
I actually prefer Encore to Wynn mainly due to the poker room. But I like the layout and size of encore rooms compared to Wynn. I also feel it is less busy at Encore vs Wynn.
I think it's a bit unfair to judge Encore as a stand alone property. The reason I like staying there is because of the smaller casino and just an overall more relaxed vibe. Even on those busy nights when the lobby bar and piano bar are jumping its easy to avoid them if you just want to go to the room. I love the smaller casino and the fact that it is only a 5 minute walk to Wynn casino is amazing. I love bouncing between the two. A 10 minute walk and you're inside the Venetian shops and all of their amazing restaurants. Encore is great but you can't go there and expect to spend all of your time there. I look at it as more of a "boutique" hotel Las Vegas style. I will say that I have never stayed at the Wynn and that's just because I feel like the room and my overall experience couldn't be any better than it is at Encore.
haha it was from our first time staying at Encore during a room tour over Halloween Weekend. If you are interesting in seeing the whole tour here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/B88Q_r2nbYE/v-deo.html
About a month ago, we went to Wynn to follow your recommendation to get a tier level transfer from Platinum at MGM to whatever the comparable tier level is at Wynn. The woman we dealt with at their player’s club desk was downright rude to us. She also informed us that they are no longer doing tier level matches. They did it in 2021, but did not do it last year and won’t be doing it this year. Not the greatest customer service experience, I must say! My husband and I were rather shocked, because we used to get great customer service when we were Wynn regulars about 10 years ago. Unfortunate. 🤷🏼♀️
I’ve experienced the same rudeness on my last few visits to both Wynn and Encore. The staff seems ill trained and customer service is no longer an “American Reality” but a forgotten dream.
My husband and I went to santra last year for our 10 years, loved it especially being a huge frank santra fan and the outdoor lounge is amazing. My parents didn't enjoy wizuzu Chinese restaurant that they have gone to. They stayed at the wynn last December while we have not had a chance as its pricey. We stay at the polo tower timeshare since my in laws are owners
Enjoyed your video. When my wife and I first toured the Encore, we were blown away by all the RED color; walls, chandeliers. I see it's still there; not sure if all the Chinese gamblers are still in attendance. What is troubling about Wynn and Encore is all of the boutique stores now on the property; not sure if the businesses get enough foot traffic to pay their bills. There are several long corridors of them.
Totally agree with you! I loved my Encore room but it was too far for me to walk to Wynn side restaurants and casino was too quiet for me. I stay at the Wynn now and I don’t want to stay anywhere else! The people working there are so professional, polite, friendly and make you feel special…and safe.
Another great review.. Encore rooms are beautiful.. but the gaming has alot to be desired of… they have removed so many of the slot machines. When my husband and I visit Vegas, we enjoy the Wynn room and use the e-standby request for the Wynn Tower Suites which is a great value. Our next trip we will be staying at Nomad and the second half of the trip will be at the Wynn.

Thanks so much Bryce! We put both in our top 5 spots to stay so we definitely were nit-picking in this one but if it's trying to be one of our top 3 you need to nit-pick we figured. The rooms are great but I hear ya about the color contrast going on between the updated Wynn and current/original Encore rooms. Has definitely brought up some interesting discussion in the comments about who wants the more quiet further walk location or the one with the action. Overall we would never have a problem staying at either property and will always take them up on an offer!
If it's your first time staying there and you're staying on a weekend, make sure to request a mountain view room (not strip view). The noise from XS and EBC at Night is insane and reverberates all the way up the building. Thank me later lol.

Fingers crossed! Hope you do as well. We got lucky to catch them doing a tier match during COVID restrictions. Such great properties, really it is nit picking between the two and honestly can't go wrong.
do you find that the beds at the wynn and encore to be fantastic or just okay? they sell them for about $3000 and I am thinking about buying one. thank you.
Stayed at the Encore last month. I like it because it is smaller. My only problem is they eliminated the television remote control. Now you have to use the big bulky IPad. It does not have the same options (channel guide) as the remote had.
I love The Wynn, The Palazzo and The Venetian. Never stayed at The Encore. Looks very nice. I'm excited to see and stay at The Fontainebleau ... Hopefully you will create a video after it opens. It looks beautiful. Thank you
Whaaat your not day club people ….neither am I lol. My day clubbing is in the past sadly. I love the Wynn and agree I prefer it over Encore. Both are excellent properties but Wynn has more of everything that I like. Cool review 😎😎😎
I agree with the lack of options at encore which is why I've not stayed there. I also feel like the best thing about the encore is that it's connected/closest place to the wynn. you guys liked the encore room but i feel the rooms at the wynn overall are much better in design, not sure if its because Ive stayed in only renovated rooms maybe thats why people prefer encore because its newer but you can get a newer room at the wynn so I dont get the encore hype.
Thanks a lot! I think people like the larger rooms at Encore for the size but could be wrong. We generally are happy with either room, they are so well taken care of usually. Still prefer all the options you get at Wynn over Encore like you though
We are going back to Vegas in Oct. We always stay at the Cosmo because we love the balcony. I checked prices for other places this year and was shocked that the Wynn was almost 60% more. I can't see how that would be worth it. Any insight on this? I can get a suite at Bellagio for what a basic bitch room at the Wynn costs. Aria was much the Same.
That is shocking. We rarely look at prices and just go with what comps we get. The Balconies are the one trump card for sure that others can’t compete with. We love Wynn but consider Cosmo in our Top 3 so can’t argue saving some money and continuing to stay at Cosmo
There are 2 separate pools, not including the Beach, The one you showed allows children, and next to it is the Adult European pool . Optional Topless and have to be at least 21. It has bungalows and a nice bar. They also bring blackjack and poker tables out midday for your enjoyment. Also there is a small elevator next to the spa that you take directly down to the pool. You don't have to go through the casino/hotel.
When you were taking about all the mirrors, I thought you were going to say that you didn’t have to fight Josh for a mirror. 😂 The combined Wynn and Encore resort is the best!
Great review, guys! Wait....was The Macho Man Randy Savage in your room?? Lol! We had a chance to stay at the Encore a few years ago and agree with you guys guys on some of the setbacks. We spent the majority of our gambling time at the Wynn casino due to the size of Encore gaming floor. The walk back to the room seemed like FOREVER!! Piano Bar>Clubs (does that mean we're getting old??)
Was looking forward to a first stay at the Encore in Late May early June but that dollar store shower head, wimpy water pressure and small pool was enough to changee my mind. Probably going back to The Pallazzo or try the new resorts world Conrad maybe?
The rooms are still great but it just doesn’t feel complete to us. Love Wynn if you have that option. We haven’t stayed at either Palazzo or RW yet, you should let us know how it is if you stay there
@@JoshRachael My wife and I have stayed at The Palazzo several times although during the pandemic the maintenance and cleanliness slipped a bit due to lack of staff, restrictiona and a kind of rowdy crowd becuase of the super low rates., I think the rooms were going for $79 -$109 depending on weekday back then but I hear it's back to normal again
I loved the Wynn but I think the new room renovations are ugly af. Way too masculine and they just don’t have that luxurious whimsical Wynn vibe at all. We prefer the style of the rooms at Encore. The food at the Wynn properties used to be really good but it’s gone downhill a lot and the prices have skyrocketed. I don’t care to pay $50 for chicken parm when I could make a better one myself. If you’re going to charge those prices, fine but the food better be outstanding. They’re clearly cutting corners and they just don’t have the caliber of kitchen staff that they used to have. The room service seems like cafeteria food now. They don’t really have any delicious fast casual food spots anymore. There used to be a spot called Pizza Place that had really legit pizza by the slice but it’s been gone for years. We usually go eat at the Pallazo or other places.
Wynn definitely would benefit from a little more fast casual dining. They redid the Cafe across from Allegro but it is just reheated stuff. Nothing exciting
We always stay at the Wynn properties three or four times a year I prefer the Encore the rooms are fantastic I really don't like to do remodel at the Wynn that much it's worth the walk LOL
Kinda like if you stay at the Vdara, everything you need is at the aria or cosmo on either side…..and there’s a top secret tram at the Sahara that takes you from there all the way to the Venetian

My wife and I love Encore compared to Wynn and always stay here at Encore. From your video, you both stated how much you like Encore... however, your tag line and headline for this video is misleading.
We do say that both are top 5 in Las Vegas and is why we’re hyper critical to say why we still prefer Wynn over it. Understand how it could be see that way though
Well Local Lawrence if you watched the video you realize that we split Wynn and Encore into two properties and basically view each individually as top 5 resorts in Las Vegas with Wynn being our favorite.
Sorry we like Encore better, lobby is easier to check in - Wynn lobby hard to find - Encore rooms are larger. We have not seen Wynn remodeled rooms yet. Casino you can use both Encore or Wynn! It’s nice to stay at Encore you can get away from busy floor at Wynn hard to get to your room… sorry can’t agree with you
Understandable. For us the larger casino is important to us as well as proximity to the rest of the Strip and restaurants. We all value different aspects more or less. Thanks for watching Mark
@Mike Erickson seems like we have the luxury of using the internet also. Holy crap, my shower flow is crap at home and earthquakes and war still happen. Please tell us how you wanna handle the world's problems? What creative ideas have you came up with or even put into practice?
@@Anthony-hi1ih Mm the difference is I don't complain about it on you tube. Maybe the poor little kids in the Ukraine might like to hear about the shower head problem.
@Mike Erickson yea but you are complaining on the UA-cam about how these folks are complaining about shower heads. And yet I don't think you answered my question on how you are helping the war in Ukraine. Are you on the way over to the war torn country to replace the kids shower heads? Thoughts and prayers? How are you helping?
@@Anthony-hi1ih Heat dumb dumb this is not about me solving the worlds problems. It's wrong to distinguish between encore and wynn it's the same property. Encore guests can even access wynn pool. The only true difference is the room and encore has the superior room.
I can understand looking at it that way but you still have to book a room at Encore or at Wynn, similar to Delano or Mandalay Bay or even Vdara or Aria. We do agree on the room being better for sure.
@@JoshRachael Pretentious, elitist, mediocrity. The patrons and staff were smug and exuded 80s wannabe “Gordon Geico” trash. It’s a hotel for aging CEOs and their wives who want to be removed from anything colorful or cultural or diverse. I’ll stop there
The title of the video is just to say it’s not our favorite in Vegas, but for many it is. They aren’t basic and we did say they are our favorite entry level (basic for the hotel) room in Las Vegas
I watched this video and, respectfully, disagreed with just about every comment you two made. Encore is purposely different. Comparing the number of restaurants to MGM tells everyone you have no clue. The pool, for its absolute purpose, is the best in vegas. Did you do your research? It’s a topless 21 and over no cameras pool. So many vloggers want to just grab their phone and become an influencer without putting the time & effort for quality content. Sad!!!
@@JoshRachael The main pool at Encore (oval shape) isn't topless. The pool behind it that functions like a sundial is topless but is only open on weekends.
I prefer Encore rooms because those Panoramic suites offer the best views that can be had from there. Also, they were spared that hideous makeover that the Wynn rooms were afflicted with. 🤮🤮🤮
Where do you rank Encore in your Best of Las Vegas List? Why?
Rank 2
I put Wynn/Encore #1 as one total package
I always lump wynn and encore together like ventian and palazzo. They’re so similar and so close it’s all the same to me. I prefer encore because I like the rooms better.
The room’s definitely are better at Encore I just enjoy the shorter distance and more food options over at Wynn and the gaming floor
I don’t find it any farther than walking from one of the far towers at Bellagio to the other side of the property.
I've stayed at Encore a few times in a few different room types (standard king, parlour suite and salon suite) and I like them but overall I prefer the remodeled/updatedd rooms over at Wynn. Interesting take and I can understand where you are coming from. Looking at it from the boutique point of view does change it quite a bit.
Will be at Wynn in April. I always say, I don't love Vegas....I love the Wynn. Thanks for another great video.
It’s just something different that it does, hard to really pinpoint but such a wonderful Resort

Oh nice we will need to check it out
I guess Encore doesn't get a standing ovation 😁
Still great just not The Best in our book but seems to be in a lot
If you don’t care for gambling and too much crowds, Encore is perfect for a relaxing vacation
You’ve nailed it! Encore is a very relaxing resort!
Still a fave property 😊
For Sure
My wife and I love Encore compared to Wynn and always stay here at Encore. From your video, you both stated how much you like Encore... however, your tag line and headline for this video is misleading.
We do say that both are top 5 in Las Vegas and is why we’re hyper critical to say why we still prefer Wynn over it. Understand how it could be see that way though
There are 2 pools at encore. The one you see and the adult only behind it.
Thanks for the tip, honestly never knew that
The Death Star is raiders stadium the name is already taken. That Billion dollar marble needs a different name.
Haha fair but it actually is a sphere like the Death Star
Wynn is where you stay with your wife and her mother, Encore is where you stay with your mistress.
Oh Snap 🫰
Wynn and Encore are the best
We enjoy both as well!
Nice video.
Thanks!
Just canceled after what I just saw they allow in there. Crazed loons, might as well set it on fire. Compromised.
Crazy. It happens with a night and day club right there in a small space
I'm a local, you're completely clueless tourists. Wynn/Encore is the best #1 resort here in Las Vegas
Well Local Lawrence if you watched the video you realize that we split Wynn and Encore into two properties and basically view each individually as top 5 resorts in Las Vegas with Wynn being our favorite.
Adore you both
Thank you so much!
Thanks for watching Mark
ahh how spoiled we are in america. earthquakes and wars amongst the world and we have the luxury of worrying about the flow of a shower head.
and yet here you are...Thanks for watching Mike
@Mike Erickson seems like we have the luxury of using the internet also. Holy crap, my shower flow is crap at home and earthquakes and war still happen. Please tell us how you wanna handle the world's problems? What creative ideas have you came up with or even put into practice?
@@Anthony-hi1ih
Mm the difference is I don't complain about it on you tube.
@@Anthony-hi1ih
Heat dumb dumb this is not about me solving the worlds problems. Its about idiots complaining about meaningless problems on you tube when there are so much worse things going on in the world. Im sure the quake victims in turkey would love to sit down with you and discuss your shower head problems. Keep your stupid little complaints to yourself. Get it?
It's wrong to distinguish between encore and wynn it's the same property. Encore guests can even access wynn pool. The only true difference is the room and encore has the superior room.
I can understand looking at it that way but you still have to book a room at Encore or at Wynn, similar to Delano or Mandalay Bay or even Vdara or Aria. We do agree on the room being better for sure.
Lol.....death star😆
Isn’t it kind of like that?
Hated Encore.
any specific reason/
@@JoshRachael
Pretentious, elitist, mediocrity. The patrons and staff were smug and exuded 80s wannabe “Gordon Geico” trash. It’s a hotel for aging CEOs and their wives who want to be removed from anything colorful or cultural or diverse. I’ll stop there
Can not think of Encore rooms as basic??? Then Wynn rooms are even more “basic” because they are small. The title of your video?
Sad!!!
Haha you think that pool is topless???
The one with floor to ceiling windows from the lobby, casino floor and Jardin looking right at it?
@@JoshRachael The main pool at Encore (oval shape) isn't topless. The pool behind it that functions like a sundial is topless but is only open on weekends.
@@griffinsutich1067 Thank you
Wynn/Encore are the same. Dont know why they split them and gave them seperate names. This is a FABULOUS property
For sure
I prefer Encore rooms because those Panoramic suites offer the best views that can be had from there. Also, they were spared that hideous makeover that the Wynn rooms were afflicted with. 🤮🤮🤮
Haha thank you!
