Mine arrived last week, the blue dial Titanium variant with the matching rubber strap and NH35 mov't. Excellent value and a terrific looking watch. Bezel action is OK, aligned, but a little loose. The rest is very nice. Recommended at this price point. For a very nice Bronze watch, I went with a Cronos L6006 ($144 "Captain Willard" 200M diver, delivered price). CuSn8 case and bezel (with lumed pip), sunburst green dial, well lumed, PT5000 high beat mov't (28.8bph), and a suede leather strap. I did install an after-market MAIKES full leather brown strap with deployment clasp (+$20). For the money, hard to beat the Cronos for quality, fit, finish, bezel action, etc.
Thanks for a good, balanced review , Randy. I had a Bodery Windmill Skeletonized watch, which ultimately wasn't for me, but I had no substantial complaints about its quality as a sub $200 offering.
That movement has a "stuttering" effect, which is what you saw. the stuttering central seconds hand use the third wheel in the gear train to indirectly drive a pinion which advances the seconds hand. It does not effect the accuracy though, just kinda weird to see....
I'm really grateful to you Randy. As a collector of cheap watches ( If i had loads i'd have the luxury watches) I feel like i'm trying before buying. Bless ya mate. Love your vids and the way the comical Randy sneaks out to play now and again. Great chanel. Great breakdowns. So far i have brought 3 watches that you have reviewed and i'm well happy.
@@cheapwatchman_official Islander Batman, Steeldive capt Willard turtle, Seiko SNK809, now all on Nato Straps, just my fav strap. P.S. Now looking to buy the Boderry Titanium
This is actually a really nice watch! I like that it doesn't have the Mercedes hands like the Rolex imposters do. Its weird that you have second hand issues with the Miyota movement, its usually a really solid movement.
As soon as you said "Boderry" Bo Derek came to mind, braided hair, gold swimsuit, 10, ahh the late 70s. Back to the watch, a titanium case for under $200, nice find, and you could always switch out the movement of so inclined. Great videos, thank you.
Thanks for the nice review and thoughts on the Boderry Sea Turtle.Ocean watch. I think it is hard to stand out in this category and the octagons on the dial and around the hour markers are unique.
Hey Randy! Long-time enjoyer (subbed, naturally) of your audio channel. I've recently got into watches and I found you here as well (subbed)! Watches seem to go well with coffee, too. 🤔 As for the Miyota 8215 movement, here's an except from an article from watchandbullion; "But beware, it can be susceptible to ‘stutter’ faults and excess rotor noise." Thanks
Glad to see Boderry has switched to the nh35 for the this watch. Probably got burned too hard by the Miyotas in their Voyager (which also switched to nh35).
Great video you considered selling it for less I mainly collect swatch’s but I like this. For the price is excellent love the Look. Thanks and have a great day let me know.
New subscriber here.. i havent checked your channel library yet. Have you ever done any reviews on the no time to die homage watches. I love the look of the omega but will never spend that on a watch.
Randy, I'm gonna have to stop watching your channel because you keep reviewing all the good watches and somehow my Amazon credit line keeps decreasing. 🤣🤣🤣 No seriously, love your channel. Keep up the good work.
I recently purchases one of these. After 1 week the crown pulled completely out of the watch. They sent me another one and the crown on it is also defective. I now have 2 pieces of junk in a drawer and I'm out CAD $240.
That jitter your describing is from the hands being too heavy for the movement. Hold it up right and you will see those jittters from 2-4. It won’t effect accuracy.
The real question is what titanium are we talking about? They are ultra cheap Russian titanium that are in fact alloy with less 10% titanium and 90% Aluminum...
The name is a deal killer for me. I respect that they fully embrace that they are a Chinese brand (on their website), but the name they chose is unappealing. I cringed every time you said the name. I feel like they were trying to evoke the name Burberry. But at least Burberry is an actual name (name of it's founder Thomas Burberry who started the company in 1856).
Of course it's only 139$. That's because it's ugly! Yes, I know, the beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Beauty is a subjective category. But i also see your eyes are flawed. That's why you wear glasses. Which means this watch is beautiful in the eyes of a short-sighted beholder.
Please stay away, very bad quality product. Very bad customer service. It's a trap, once you bought, they will ignore if you find any issue. Avoid at all cost. I feel like I lost my money and time for last two months. Please please please stay away from them.
Hey man, I found your audio channel looking to get into vinyl and stumbled into your watch channel! I'm a long time cheap watch fan, so glad to find this place! Try out the Timex Expedition Field, Mossy Oak edition. Great field watch with a good strap for like $40!
I like your daughter's sticker. Enjoy those moments! My youngest is 25. I miss those princess sticker days.

my pleasure
Or cares to spend on a watch ⌚️
A nice candid review. No B.S.or over_hype. Great price point. Nicely done! Cheers! 🍻
Miyota 8215 movements are infamous for that stutter!
I thought I was seeing things for a second and then I saw it again. It seemed to smooth out after a couple of days.
Its a hexagon-shape, mate

I totally agree!
Mmmmmmm Bo Drek. Thanks for the memory Randy. Also thanks for the great content as per usual with your channels.
Yes, no doubt the perfect "10". She's aged like a fine wine, too. A natural beauty.

The 8215 is known for the jumping seconds hand.
I just discovered your channel and I love it !!! Good watches, great content and you crack me up 😂 Shout out Randy !!! Keep up the good work !!!
What do you think of citizen titanium watches?
In our third world country, cheap watches are only tiene ones we can afford to get stolen... so great channel!
Looks really nice! Kinda reminds of a Christopher Ward Trident... Great Review Randy! 👍👍👍
thanks, G

They make quite a few great "cheap" watches. Great review as usual.

Soak the watch in warm soapy water & bezel will turn much better . Take my word .
I don't like the hands but the rest of the watch is nice. Now on titanium, if I buy a titanium watch it will be on a bracelet.
The amplifier I think watch lovers would really like is the D'agostino Momentum amplifier. Just punch it in, and ask for a pic.
The non hacking ruined it IMO. Shame as I really love it. I have a spare Seiko movement....
The 8215 movement is non-hacking, AND non-hand-winding. Things don’t get any more entry-level than that.
glad it's only $139
Not a fan of the dial. Btw has anyone reviewed the Invicta titanium one?
Yes
I'm pretty sure it's pronounced Boderry
I thought I unsubscribed 🤪
I thought I blocked you

I wear a watch to tell the time not to worry about wtf random people are going think about what brand it is. Stick to audio.
Did someone force you to view it? Are an angry nine year old? There are plenty of questions here.
wowsa. You missed an opportunity to end your comment with an exclamation point though. It would have cleared up any ambiguity
