School Holiday Steam 2024

After proving extremely popular last year, Steam Incorporated's School Holiday Steam trips around the Wellington region returned for one weekend on July 20th and 21st, 2024. The train was hauled by Steam Locomotive Ja1271 on northbound trips, with southbound runs being headed by Diesel Locomotives Da1410 and Da345. Ja1271 wore a headboard designed by students at Raumati South School, while Da1410 wore a headboard made by students at Pauatahanui School.
