My favorite combo is a glyph of darkness and a glyhp of a weapon, because the atack deals a lot of demage and doesn't need a lot of heart to use the spell
Wow quite a few of these are new to me. This is cool. The effects are still stunning to this day. Beautiful game. My favorite Castlevania for a reason.
Just finished this game today and gotta say that it's right up there with SOTN for me as my favorite Castlevania games. Just nothing bad to say about it really.
Currently replaying this game again this year. This is the most played Castlevania next to SOTN for me. OOE and SOTN have high replay value and somewhat addictive to play. Everything about OOE just screams badass and this union glyph video of yours is one of its badass factor. I certainly enjoyed watching all those sweet animations.
So Netflix: Remember when someone thought it would be a great idea to make Castlevania into an animated series and people were blown away by what and awesome job you all did??? Please do it again with this woman.
Agreed. Shanoa is such a cool character, but very underused in the series, only having a home in Order and Judgement. Speaking of Judgement, her design there leaves much to be desired. They did come up with some good character designs. I for one really liked Cornell's design, but Shanoa is quite unfortunately one of the characters who got the short end of the stick.
Idk man they might make Albus black we already seen what they did to Isaac and the story is nothing like the original curse of darkness they'll just end up making more diversity and woke shit.
@@shadowdancer5330 I thought this reimagined Isaac was a great character, though I would have loved seeing the phycological, unhinged Issac from the original source. As long as there is solid character content, the race is hardly important. Samuel L Jackson was an amazing Nick Fury, and Micheal Clarke Duncan was a much more intimidating Kingpin. Both characters were originally Caucasian
@@richardwieder2274 yea by making Isaac black they messed the story up. In the game Isaac has a sister and that sister reminds Hector of his dead lover that Isaac killed. I got no problems with black people being in show but when they start race swapping key characters just shows me just how lazy creators are that they can't make an original black character but instead have him riding on the coat tails of a white man.
This is probably the castlevania that has most useful weapons/magics in all castlevania games. While Aria/Dawn of Sorrow were greedy with the soul system by giving you a lot of stuff, many stuff isn't really useful there. Portrait of Ruins also did a good job with usefulness but OoE was better in my opinion.
@@uandresbrito5685 the bad thing about summons in gba/ds games is that you always need to unequip something much better to maintain the summon active, while in SOTN and Bloodstained the summons have a particular equip slot that dont take the place of anything else. So is safe to say that summons are only useful in these games (and curse of darkness if u count 3D games)
@@staysharp2453 Well, that's true. Lacking slots is a big problem, but as Portrait of Ruin has demonstrated(the closest we get to SotN since we can summon with Charlotte and use whatever with Jonathan), summons can be really damn useful, specially in challenge runs or when you don't really have a better way to use your MP. Summons in Order are just terrible, they scale terribly in damage, levelling them up is horribly slow and quite possibly the only one that's worth using(AND levelling up, because it's ALSO the easiest one at that) is Fidelis Medusa. As for Harmony/Aria/Dawn, at least half the summons are pretty powerful, unlike in Order.
If you ever discovered the Nitesco + weapon glyph, you would realize how bonkers powerful it is because that thing did damage in the thousands when you were hitting for hundreds at best on other glyph unions.

Protip, be sure to grab the zombie summon glyph from the necromancer in Ruvas Forest, basically gives you a wall that can tank any destructible projectile. Makes things much easier
Nitesco is Light and Fire element, so it actually deals four times as much damage to enemies weak to both. This can also be said of Globus and Acerbatus, both of which are also multi-element attacks. The only element that you most likely won't max out is Ice and that's because the game only gives you 2 glyphs that have it and both are highly situational with very few enemies where they remain viable.
@@machdude3366 You'll never max out any element, lol. I played through the game thrice with 100% in 3 different difficulties and only got around 20k for each att. It's a stupid cap unless you cheat Color Drops.
