Everything that is done with passion becomes a piece of art.
Production value just took a gigantic leap forward.
Definitely need a ride video of that build
I know the kid who you built the bike for. He is nice I’ve raced him before
Awesome. He's my son.
Nice build!!
However, the forks crown has a gap between the fork and the crown (2:00), first couple of rides should seat it in nicely, thus loosing and rethightning of the starnut, spacers and stem should be performed. The application of the tubless tape was not up to standards (6:09), leakage will definitely be an issue. That initial bolt threading of the brake disc rotors (5:38) should not be done with a power tool (threading steal into aluminum), first couple of turns can become cross threaded and for that reason a power tool should not be used (this was fixed on the next wheel! 7:26, kudos for doing it right!).
Awesome bike!
The young Padawan learner appreciates your feedback. :)
@@BuildaBetterBike We are all padawan pupiles through life, and I'm always learning with your videos. Keep up the good work!!

Awsome premium kid bike !!!
Great job man. Sweet rig too!!! Just got the purple crush color built up. You can see the carbon weaves. It's soooooo beautiful.
It's just a head turner for sure.
I just sit there and stare at it for a while. Gorgeous 😍 😍 😍 😍 😍 😍 😍
Didn't realize you could see the carbon through the purple. Makes me think we chose the wrong colorway. ;)
Why do I keep watching microspline freehubs?😂
Great build
Because the XD replacement didn't arrive until halfway through the build. :)
Pretty! 👏
we need a video of the bike in action!
Good video but I would like to point out that the crown race on the fork was installed upside down. So the lower bearing could be damaged from that and it should be fixed asap.
What a build...
Padawan haha. Great stuff
Great video. Looks like you put the crown race on upside down? But it looks like you corrected it when installing the headset bearing :)
Good eye. ;)
Nice build, was that string on those hubs?
Vinyl. Berd spokes.
Kuyawa oi😮
yup, good old affordable ibis DV9!
5k USD. FOR KIDS! :D
Yeah thats what I was thinking, but if you did the video the way the title suggests. It would be got 30% discount after haggling with bike shop, they assembled it out of the box from Ibis and my kid started riding it.
Years of therapy most likely. Lol love it. Those trolls can be nasty. Or excuse me I think they prefer armchair experts lol
Building is awesome, but I wanna see the bike ridden.
19lbs just doesnt seem possible. Mine is 25.5 lbs. I cant figure out where i could save 6.5 pounds.
Usually it's in the wheelset
@@BuildaBetterBike Yup. I can save about 400 grams there and maybe a 100 grams with a crazy light cassette. Not sure where the other 5 pounds could be saved.
