  • Great session today, felt like I progressed in some key areas, notably the t-bar row and the upper back row. Loving the new structure for this day overall...my shoulder press just can't be stopped. We've added 100lbs in 20 weeks, lol. Sitting around 217lbs today!

    Hi Erik. seem like you are doing low volume, how many sets you do for each exercise and how you compare with high volume ? thanks.

      I only put my top set in these videos, but for this day, my structure was:
      Lat biased row x3
      T-bar Row x3
      Upper back row x2
      Lateral raise x4
      Shoulder press x3
      Rear delt fly x4
      Mostly dependent on the movement and how much total volume across the week I need for particular muscle group(s)

      The answer to the question "how much volume is best?" should always be "how much volume do I need?" and an assessment of your physique that will drive where you should have most of your volume.
