How to Crimp Ring Terminals

Showing a few ways to crimp Ring terminals from 8 gauge to 0 gauge wire, all works the same. There are other tools that make the job easier, but these work just fine and get the job done.

I just drive over the ring terminal with a tractor. Or you can tape it to a train track to get a good tight squeeze.

I start the joint of connector pointing down towards wire with punch then hammer it. This makes the connector fold not just smash flat…ALSO DONT FORGET TO USE LIQUID TAPE AFTER TO SEAL FROM CORROSION especially in boats or moist conditions 👍
