Black & White Photography That GRABS ATTENTION - pt 2 + Fun Leica Fact!

The best black and white photography grabs your attention. One way to achieve that is using contrast to create drama.

Much of my black and white photography is now created on my new Leica Q2 monochrom, and I include a little fun Leica fact in this video.

Cracking images, but that camera has one hell of a price tag!

Thanks Neil. I bought the camera used. Most people buy a Sony mirrorless, like a A7 iv, and a couple of zoom lenses, maybe a prime too. And then need an expensive camera backpack to carry it all around. They end up spending a lot more than I spent on this little camera, and have a load of gear to lug around too! 😊

Hi Simon: Thanks for creating and sharing this video. I must admit that I don't purposely shoot for B&W conversions in the post, but when I do apply B&W techniques I am always surprised on how much impact the image has. Keep well . . . Keith (Barrie, Ontario)

It's hit or miss unless black and white is shot with intention and how things will convert has been considered. But still a nice surprise when you do play with a colour image and get great BnW results. Thanks Keith.
