Happy to share that my partner and I got the townhouse shown in the video! Monica has been so incredible to work with :) We can’t wait to move into our beautiful home at the end of the month!!
Wall Street pitched so-called quality stocks with high profitability and low debt, as a kind of insurance against whatever the economy might throw at you. Quality stocks have underperformed the S&P500 this year, My $400k portfolio is down by approximately 20 %, any recommendations to scale up my ROI before retirement will be highly appreciated.......
The uncertainties accompanying this present market is more reasons I have my daily investment decisions guided by a portfolio-coach seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time, both employing profit-oriented strategy and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downtrends, coupled with the exclusive analysis, it's quite impossible not to outperform. Netted over $550k in return on investment, since using a coach for about 2years.
I think i've nailed the banana pancake recipe - 1 egg, 1/2 cup self raising flour, 1/2 cup oats, 1 banana, 1 teaspoon baking powder, few drops of vanilla and blend (you can do in a bowl easily too) then add a little milk or water to get the right consistency. Then let it sit for a minute and when frying do it on super low with no oil or butter (as long as you use a non stick pan it's fine!). Seriously try it, they are so good!
Not to sound like an ad, I love primal kitchen! I’m so glad you are giving them a chance to show their products in your vlog. I recently changed my diet and their avocado ranch is so good! Love your chill vlogs 🎉 this 2023 year will be amazing
Monica, these are my favorite kinds of videos from you! Can't wait to see the finished renovation. Side note- Primal Kitchen's spaghetti sauce is delicious.
Advice for upping your soup game! Your Dutch oven is your one pot for soup, so sauté your onions, carrots, celery or whatever base veg in fat of your choice. Add your spices (powder or fresh, garlic and ginger add a warm depth) at this point too. Then your protein, get all that flavor and aromatics. Then add your liquid, lightest first, like water or bone broth or chicken/beef/veg stock. Once everything has come to a boil, simmer on low for at least 30 min. Keep in mind that when adding liquid, you need to make sure you use enough salt, even if it looks too much. Remember adding more liquid decreases the flavor concentration. The last step is the acid or cream and garnishes, so coconut milk and herb garnish should be added last, then stir and serve! Try the soup again, it did look very promising!!
I've been making tortilla pizzas for over eight years now. I don't use a sauce I use olive oil adding Italian seasonings to the olive oil on the tortilla and then I add my cheese my pepperoni mushrooms and onions more Italian seasoning some garlic powder some onion powder and it smells like a pizzeria I haven't use my cast iron skillet though I usually just use my toaster oven it's delicious ❤️
I simply whack a hole in the cap with a pointy knife if it won't open, running it under hot water to heat it up can help too :) I make simple broth and soup with a Crockpot, super easy but takes a lot of time. Makes the house smell nice too.
Turn the jars sideways down and tap the edge of the lid on the counter top. It should be easier to,open after. My momma showed me and its never let me down for opening everything by myself
Good afternoon Monica. So nice to see you dancing and feeling fine and resetting your goals there in your cozy apartment . Thanks for sharing another great video. I'll bet that homemade pepperoni pizza tastes just wonderful topped with that avocado and hot pepper Buffalo Sauce - a well as that healthy Bok Choy salad. That being said, have a Happy and Prosperous 2023!! and I most certainly can't wait to see the superlative and inspirational content you'll be providing in the New Year!! 🌼🌼👍👍
Gentle Hack...take a kitchen butter knife and gently smack the rim of the lid three times (different positions around the lid) DO NOT hit it so hard you risk breaking the glass jar. Then try twisting off the lid. Should work!!
Love the pink top looks great on you. A tip for hard to open jars is to use a church key bottle opener with the pointed end and stick it under the top to loosen it, works great.
@@MonicaChurches, please for real estate tea! Also, for soups our family cooks and really almost every Latin family I know uses Knorr's Chicken Flavor Bouillon ( aka Knorr's Caldo con Sabor de Pollo). Makes every soup taste yummy. It contains MSG but honestly my friend who owns a Mexican restaurant puts it on everything.
3 kitchen hacks for yah 1. You can use a chef’s knife to open a can 2. If you can’t open a jar, put a hole on the lid and it will release the pressure. Voila 3. When you’re chopping, slicing, for safety pls put a moist cloth/paper towel so that the chopping board will not slide while you’re chopping.
Wait! You drop the bomb about leaving your real estate team? There cooking hacks for you: 1.if you don’t have a can opener: use the point end of a knife 🔪 hold the handle w/one hand; tap it on the top to poke it through then twist a little bit to make a whole. Do that again right across from the one just done. BUT any liquid can coconut milk ect, if you have a bottle opener w/a pointed tip open the can like that. Pour it in a sizable cup or bowl so you can stir it, or shake the can really good. 2. When opening a jar 🫙 turn it over and pound the bottoms 2-3 times, then open, if it doesn’t release the pressure tap the sides of the lid either on the counter (make sure your counter is durable for this) OR use the hand of a butter knife and tap all the way around the lid. (This is only if the bottom pounding doesn’t work 😊) 3. When making a soup with coconut milk mix in a little flour or baking powder to thicken it. Just a little it will thicken as it cooks. Always use extra spices, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Himalayan salt, a basil leaf. I make a lot of soup 😊 And my 24yr son is actually allergic to dairy so we’ve done alternative dairy products his whole life! He’s actually been tested he’s lactose intolerant he’s like one in 1/2 million ppl who are allergic 😢. We found out when he was 1 yrs old. We hoped he’d grow out of it but no such luck.
Why are people scared of coconut milk? I used to hate coconut because it reminded me of sunscreen, but now I love that kind of thing, especially in a curry
You were in a hurry, that’s why. All the ingredients look scrumptious. You just gotta let Jason man the stove, and give them time to cook. Soup takes time. At least 30 min to an hour to bring out the flavor.
You could do a cooking programme! You don’t need to be a cordon chef to create good food; you simply have to experiment! You’re off to a good start in this episode.
I love your content! Can’t wait for some more real estate advice content, I’m a licensed broker in Chicago and am always looking for new ways to improve my business 🥰
Life hack incoming! You can actually open a can with a spoon. Just run it over and over again around the inside of the little lip on the top and it’ll wear through. Might save someone else in this situation, or you know, a zombie apocalypse or something 🙃
What is the pressure like as an agent? I’m a crim defense attorney switching careers and am thinking about getting my license. But I don’t want to get into another job where the pressure is abnormally high. I guess I’m mainly thinking about balancing client expectations in a not entirely predictable process, but also how stressful is it in general?
I don’t think it’s too much pressure! You definitely learn how to balance expectations for clients. I like that it’s NOT creative, that sometimes is too much pressure for me.
Do you really think social media really helps a real estate agent met more clients? My agent gets most of her clients through word of mouth because they give her a good review and say she's great at her job. I would have to agree with them. She really doesn't rely on social media.
It’s different for everyone! Word of mouth is definitely ideal but it takes years to get to a steady flow of clients that way. I work with 100% of my clients through social media and I’ve talked to many agents that are doing the same. Some people like mailers, cold calling, etc. you have to find what works for you! 😊
Unsolicited soup advice: anytime something tastes bland, but seems like it should have tons of flavor, it's probably a salt problem! Add salt until you taste all the flavor. You probably need more salt than you realize. Also, cook the onion first, then add all the veggies, THEN the chicken - the veggies will brown, creating flavor, but adding the cooked (or uncooked chicken) first creates steam, which doesn't help the veggies develop flavor. You got this!
This is great advice. Vegetables cook at different speeds….unless you are letting your soup simmer for a few hours then your vegetables probably will be really uneven. Carrots and onions and aromatics first until they are soft and onions are translucent. Then add the bok choy and let get soft. Then your aromatics. Then the softer veggies, like tomatoes or zucchini. Then add your broth and let simmer for like 45 minutes to let the flavors blend. Try adding spices like cumin. Coriander. Stuff that is flavorful.

It’s great! Definitely feeling so lucky to get to work with such a great brand.
Tip for opening jars: use a spoon under the lip of the lid to break the pressure seal. The pressure is what makes it hard to open!
I discovered taping around the lid with a spoon helps loosens it and its easier to pop off. 12:00

More salt. It makes anything taste great!
a life hack for opening a jar, put the end of a spoon underneath the lid to let some air in, works like a charm :)
Next time give it a few light taps on the lid with a spoon and wrap a rubber band around the lid to assist in gripping
next time i advice to use knife between jar and lid, it let air in and you can easily open

I recommend using a brown banana. Let that thing get as brown as possible so it’s sweeter and a little less in your face banana flavor
