I can't fight back the tisms.... you're using OC wrong and it's driving me nuts. It's always meant Original Content no Original Character. Denizens of Deviant Art started using it wrong and for some reason that caught on with tangentially related Fan communities, but they stole that. OC comes from a distinction between copy pasta and an original post. Original Post and Original Content come from the same place. Original Character comes from kids on Deviant Art misunderstanding what OC means, and just using it wrong ever since. Yes I know I'm splaining. But someone has to. This nonsense of changing acronyms and words that already have established meanings to suit the imagination of ever single new consumer generation is not healthy. Yall are out here threatening the meaning of words, like as concept. We're on a path to grunting and farting to communicate. We need to let words have meanings and stop trying to obscure those meanings with newSpeak. And the tisms have been released.... good day.
