Hi. I was wondering how you would use a multi-dose ampoule. The directions on it say to divide the dosing. So I'm not sure how you would use the ampoule again. I did contact the manufacturer about storage. Thanks.
That's an interesting question. A multi-dose ampule that isn't all being used immediately sounds like it would easily become contaminated. Storage would be impossible. I think unless you're dividing it into doses after opening, it would need to be wasted. I'd love to hear if the manufacturer responds. - Ellis
It would be nice if you showed your ampule closer because I have no idea how you inverted it without spilling. Is there a membrane? Vials I have seen are just glass... doesn't a membrane ruin the only benefit to an ampule, which is that glass is the only material touching the medicine? Is it just surface tension? If so how did you know that your particular med would have enough surface tension to not just pour all over you?
