Loved your series, because of them I bought the proton pack alice frame and Spengler wand, your mod videos are going to be extremely helpful! Great stuff!
Have fun Steve. My son went out on Halloween and was the life of the party. I've worn it out too and the costume seems to be a crowd pleaser. I'm pleasantly surprized how many folks like and comment on my Gizmo 2.0...
Something I wanted to ask but I forgot to ask is if you were going to mod or make ecto goggles and if you moved the proton pack activation button onto the proton pack itself? I was considering this and getting the switch that a lot of folks are putting under the Ion arm like in the films. I am sticking to your button in hose method since it is easier to turn the pack on and off. Finally I am rounding out the first round of upgrades and such for this years Halloween. Thanks for these videos!
Yes, but its easy to get bogged down in too much gear. Maybe if a friend needed one for their costume, I'd help make some. Or these videos really take off and pay for themselves...
I have seen some cosplayer totally smack talk the spirit and haslab packs saying they will never be as good as something custom built. I disagree this is a form of gatekeeping which is an awful thing to do. Your setup looks great and you kept the cost down, I'm setting at over a grand in my setup because I'm a stickler but that doesn't mean people shouldn't enjoy the kits they put together just because it's cheaper or pre-made.
Darktoast, totally agree with you. Once you get into something like this you can go very deep in time and money, but that still doesn't mean smack talk has any value. My experience is those that pick at other are just sad people in general.
I love it, you did a wonderful job!! I need to make myself the belt gizmo!!
Go for it! The flashing lights make all the difference on this design for sure. Feels like an extension of the proton pack.

Very tempted to make this costume after seeing how affordable it can be doing it yourself. Thanks for breakdown! Huge Ghostbusters fan.
Go for it! The builds are a lot of fun and even more fun when you go out and see kids and folks in general eye's light up as you walk towards them.
Thank you for your video's

Have you considered modifying the Spirit goggles to look more like the movie?

Man this is amazing!! Where's your Ecto Goggles?
Good question, maybe a future build...
@@MakeItorBreakItNowid love to help out with that
No trap or pke meter ?
Dude has so much already. He's happy
@@CrissBaybay js if you got the pack then it’s a must that you get the trap
Maybe some day, but I'm happy with what I've got hanging on my belt for now.
@@MakeItorBreakItNow well I am doing the Spengler wand switch hack that I learned from you and the trap is cheap I got it from sprit Halloween
You are one crazy mofo!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love it!!!!!!!! What a costume!
Thanks, I do enjoy the Ghostbusters for sure...
i have spent more on shipping of items then you have on your entire costume. Cosplay is so much cheaper in America.
Not sure where you live, but have to agree we have many low cost options here.
