Brother Please one last question off topic If a haircut makes us different from society will it be haram as the prophet forbade to wear clothe of fame you must know that Does the hadith forbidding cloth of fame only refers to cloth or its refers to other things such as haricut etc?
Great question. Number 1 the clothing of fame or rather standing out, the ruling is makhrooh not haram. Ie very disliked. And second off, yes it applies to more than clothing. Cars, homes and anything with appearance
It is not haram or makhrooh tanzihi if nothing is shaved. In fact even most skin fades are not makhrooh tanzihi ie no sin in it but better to avoid. The fades that are makhrooh tanzihi are when they make you look abnormal in a society. For example i had a Lamelo Ball style fade with my large curly hair. In the USA its not abnormal at all but in Pakistan everyone couldn’t accept it and said i look weird or im standing out in an ugly way. Im going to the barber to clean it up and make sure i can avoid even the makhrooh tanzihi.
@@123abdullahkhan this is the reference for the wisdom and for the ruling imam nawawi says of “ijmaa upon it being makhrooh tanzihi when its in patches” ie the worst form of the haircut is having random patches and even that is makhrooh tanzihi ie no sin but better to avoid. So lets assume for argument sake that a fade haircut does fall into the category of Qaza (it actually doesn’t but lets assume) it wouldn’t even be makhrooh tanzihi according to ijma’. Some might say it is tanzihi others will say its not. Why? Because a fade is decent while random patches are hideous but still only makhrooh tanzihi so by analogy a fade would not be even makrooh tanzihi. The level right above makhrooh tanzihi is mubah ie permissible.
Well let’s understand a few basic principles 1. The truth is not democratic 2. Many scholars also say its allowed 3. The difference of opinion occurs only due to the other sides rigidity and attitude to control the masses. If those who say its haram look at the classical, medieval and contemporary literature they will clearly see it can not be declared haram. The issue: Scholars who realize the “qaza hadith” cannot be used as evidence they use the “whoever imitates a nation is amongst them” hadith. They fail to realize the intended message of that hadith. They ignore the works of the classical and medieval scholars who in MAJORITY say that hadith refers to copying them in a religious resemblance not social. Remember this verse when searching to see if something is haram “ وقد فصل لكم ما حرم عليكم” And we have CLEARLY EXPLAINED to you WHATEVER is haram upon you” Two things you look for 1. Is it clearly mentioned by Allah or his messenger or does interpretation bring about the verdict 2. Is it absolutely authoritative
dear brother what about giving theses fades . can you speak on barbers and if cutting the non muslim or shaving them is forbidden as well as being an instructor at a shop
What about modesty and what this new style has lead to of tweezing eyebrows and fading the beard, just to name a few things? It's a whole package, are those good for the Sunnah?
@@Mmhs91 Akhi, you're not understanding. This comes from the mushroom haircut, it just evolved like fashion does. This now has gone to a whole package, the tweezing of eyebrows, fading the beard, the piercing of ears, the cutting a line in the eyebrow, cutting a line in the hair. You're enabling our brothers to get involved in this thing, it's a whole culture following their Popstars or influencers. You need to look at the bigger picture. My middle hair are 3-3.5 inches in length. So If I make my hair become a little less from top to side and finally at side it is near 0.5-1 inch (no skin visible but just small) it is permissible or not ?
Yes that’s permissible according to the hanafis for sure as they add an additional detail to what qaza is. In addition to having patches they add that the disparity in hair must be of three fingers and only then its called qaza. Ibn Abideen mentioned this in his famous hashiya
@@Mmhs91 by means of disparincy is that only for if part of the hair is shaven? And if the hair is just shorter on the sides and longer on the top maybe 3 inches and the sides it's 1cm according to the hanifi madhab would this be permissible and what is the evidence if it is permissible? Jazkallah
Assalam u aleikum brother. Can you show me the reference where Imam Malik said that it only applies until puberty? And also, The prophet pbuh forbade having patches, so isnt it haram to have a skinfade? Becase parts are shaved, and parts are not?
وعليكم السلام Great question. So the Imam Malik reference is in the Mudawana tul Kubra. Ill try to cooy paste it here if possible. As for patches and a skin fade. A skin fade and patches of clouds are not the same so this would be a dis-analogy. Patches of clouds is plural so multiple clouds but a skin fade is a blending of hair from no hair into hair. Also, there is a great dissimilarity between the two in terms of aesthetics. Patches of clouds look unorganized, disheveled, non symmetrical and unsynchronized. A fade haircut looks presentable, symmetrical and synchronized. The scholars have mentioned the reason for the qaza being makhrooh and a skin fade is free from those reasons. All in all the most inappropriate form of qaza is makhrooh tanzihi not tahrimi ie not a sin rather better to leave.
As long as one doesn’t look abnormal or ugly then it’s permissible. If one has one huge patch of hair and the rest is skin and he looks like a viking or indecent then it will be “qaza” hence makhrooh. A regular and decent looking skin fade is not “qaza”. Imo.
Thank for this video brother I have been stressing about this for a while is this all authentic brother because I have heard it is act of disbelieves etc jzk brother

Once the adhan had finish, the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam ordered Ali Ibn Abi Talib and Zubair Ibn Awwam Radiyallahu Anhum to fetch the boy to him. As they went to the other side of the oasis and brought back Abu Mahdhurah RA and his friends, the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam asked: “Who just made the call to prayer among you?” Feeling embarrassed and shy before the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam, all of the boys remained silent. So the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam said to one of them: “Let me hear the adhan”. However, that particular boys voice was not very good, so he said to another boy, “You make the call to prayer”, but still it was not that good, so for the third time, he turned to Abu Mahdhurah RA and said “Make the call to prayer” and his voice was beautiful and pleasant. So the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam asked him: “Were you the one who made the call to prayer berfore?” Abu Mahdhurah RA replied: “Yes, that was me.” With that, Abu Mahdhurah’s friends ran off and he was ordered to sit down. He feared that he was going to be punished as he made fun of Bilal RA, but look at how the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam approached him: The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam stretched out his hand, took off his turban and supplicated for Abu Mahdhurah RA saying: “O Allah, bless him and guide him to Islam.” He then stroked his head with his hand and made the same supplication for him a second time. This character of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam made such a great impact on Abu Mahdhurah RA that it made him enter the fold of Islam. The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam found his voice extremely beautiful, that at the time that Makkah had been conquest and there was a need for someone to become the muadhdhin in Makkah, the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam said to that Abu Mahdhurah RA was the best person for the job, so he said to him: “Go and make the call to prayer to the people of Makkah; you are now the muadhdhin of the people of Makkah.” _____Story was taken from: • Al Isti’ab fi Ma’rifat Al Ashab, p. 842-4 • Al Isabah fi Tamyiz As Sihabah 7/203 • Sahih Muslim Hadith no. 379 • Siyar A’lam an Nubala 3/117-119 3.ولما مسح النبي على رأسه أصبح لا يحلق شعر رأسه، ويقول: «ما كنت لآخذ شعرًا مسح عليه رسول الله “And when the prophet pbuh wiped his hand on his head he never cut that portion of my hair” He would say “ I never cut the hair which the prophet pbuh touched” Reference: أسد الغابة في معرفة الصحابة، لابن الأثير، ترجمة أبي محذورة، موقع صحابة رسولنا نسخة محفوظة 31 يناير 2018 على موقع واي باك مشين. So is a low taper haram or no
Not haram
Brother
Please one last question off topic
If a haircut makes us different from society will it be haram as the prophet forbade to wear clothe of fame you must know that
Does the hadith forbidding cloth of fame only refers to cloth or its refers to other things such as haricut etc?
Great question.
Number 1 the clothing of fame or rather standing out, the ruling is makhrooh not haram. Ie very disliked.
And second off, yes it applies to more than clothing. Cars, homes and anything with appearance
Is fade haircut Halal if we don't shave the sides but do it with a trimmer
It is not haram or makhrooh tanzihi if nothing is shaved.
In fact even most skin fades are not makhrooh tanzihi ie no sin in it but better to avoid.
The fades that are makhrooh tanzihi are when they make you look abnormal in a society.
For example i had a Lamelo Ball style fade with my large curly hair. In the USA its not abnormal at all but in Pakistan everyone couldn’t accept it and said i look weird or im standing out in an ugly way.
Im going to the barber to clean it up and make sure i can avoid even the makhrooh tanzihi.
❣️❣️❣️
Is it halal to trim the sides to a 3 and the top is a little bit longer but is still shorten a bit?
Its halal
salam brother, what is the reference for what you mentioned was said by imam nawawi
Sharh sahih muslim
Baab “qaza”
I believe under kitaab ul libaas
@@Mmhs91 thank you for the Quick reply. Is this the reference for the 3 wisdoms behind the ruling that imam Nawawi gave?
The level right above makhrooh tanzihi is mubah ie permissible.
brother why is it there are alot i mean(alot) of scholars saying normal fade is qaza there for haram?
Well let’s understand a few basic principles
1. The truth is not democratic
2. Many scholars also say its allowed
3. The difference of opinion occurs only due to the other sides rigidity and attitude to control the masses. If those who say its haram look at the classical, medieval and contemporary literature they will clearly see it can not be declared haram.
The issue:
Scholars who realize the “qaza hadith” cannot be used as evidence they use the “whoever imitates a nation is amongst them” hadith.
They fail to realize the intended message of that hadith. They ignore the works of the classical and medieval scholars who in MAJORITY say that hadith refers to copying them in a religious resemblance not social.
Remember this verse when searching to see if something is haram
“ وقد فصل لكم ما حرم عليكم”
And we have CLEARLY EXPLAINED to you WHATEVER is haram upon you”
Two things you look for
1. Is it clearly mentioned by Allah or his messenger or does interpretation bring about the verdict
2. Is it absolutely authoritative

What about modesty and what this new style has lead to of tweezing eyebrows and fading the beard, just to name a few things? It's a whole package, are those good for the Sunnah?
Modesty and tweezing the eyebrows are two separate discussions from the discussion of what hairstyle a man can groom himself with.
@@Mmhs91 Akhi, you're not understanding. This comes from the mushroom haircut, it just evolved like fashion does. You're enabling our brothers to get involved in this thing, it's a whole culture following their Popstars or influencers. You need to look at the bigger picture. Assalam u aleikum brother. Can you show me the reference where Imam Malik said that it only applies until puberty? And also, The prophet pbuh forbade having patches, so isnt it haram to have a skinfade? Becase parts are shaved, and parts are not?
وعليكم السلام
Great question.
My final question to you is that can we give skin fades
As long as one doesn’t look abnormal or ugly then it’s permissible.
If one has one huge patch of hair and the rest is skin and he looks like a viking or indecent then it will be “qaza” hence makhrooh.
A regular and decent looking skin fade is not “qaza”.
Imo.

Once the adhan had finish, the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam ordered Ali Ibn Abi Talib and Zubair Ibn Awwam Radiyallahu Anhum to fetch the boy to him. As they went to the other side of the oasis and brought back Abu Mahdhurah RA and his friends, the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam asked: “Who just made the call to prayer among you?”
Feeling embarrassed and shy before the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam, all of the boys remained silent.
So the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam asked him: “Were you the one who made the call to prayer berfore?”
Abu Mahdhurah RA replied: “Yes, that was me.” With that, Abu Mahdhurah’s friends ran off and he was ordered to sit down. He feared that he was going to be punished as he made fun of Bilal RA, but look at how the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam approached him:
The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam stretched out his hand, took off his turban and supplicated for Abu Mahdhurah RA saying: “O Allah, bless him and guide him to Islam.”
He then stroked his head with his hand and made the same supplication for him a second time. This character of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam made such a great impact on Abu Mahdhurah RA that it made him enter the fold of Islam.
The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam found his voice extremely beautiful, that at the time that Makkah had been conquest and there was a need for someone to become the muadhdhin in Makkah, the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam said to that Abu Mahdhurah RA was the best person for the job, so he said to him: “Go and make the call to prayer to the people of Makkah; you are now the muadhdhin of the people of Makkah.”

Is a blade 8 on top and blade one on the sides alright? What about blade 8 and blade 0.5 on sides?
Are any of them considered any type of makruh?
When u say alright do u mean halal?
It is halal but it will be “better not to do” if it looks indecent.
@@Mmhs91 so if it looks nice and clean, would it be considered completely Halal and not ‘better not to do’?
@@sakib7624 it would be. The Hanafi scholars say that the difference in length should not be more than 3 fingers ( this is about 3 inches).
Its best to avoid having such a drastic difference in length but in all honesty they also said this because according to them the difference of length more than 3 fingers looks indecent.
All in all if its looks clean and something you can see people of knowledge and piety doing then its fine.
People of piety doesn’t only mean scholars. That youth on UNI campuses who are good muslims, they are punctual in salah, they stay away from haram etc they are indeed people of piety as well.
If the haircut is something they would have then definitely it will not be indecent.
@@Mmhs91 Jazakallahu Khayran for the responses! Last question akhi, how would I respond to if I someone says that my haircut resembles Qaza.
@@sakib7624 respond to them by asking for their number and sharing this video with them.
So I can't have a man bun with a slight skin fade ? Because of the 3 finger difference? I am hanafi please advise thanks.
As s hanafi, the ruling will be makhrooh tanzihi . In other words its better to avoid such an act but if done it will NOT be haram.

Narrated/Authority of Abu Mahdhurah
Listed in: The Book of the Adhan (The Call to Prayer)
"When the Messenger of Allah (saw) left Hunain, I was the tenth of a group of ten of the people of Makkah who were trying to catch up with them. We heard them calling the Adhan for the prayer and we started to repeat the Adhan, mocking them. The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'I heard among these people the Adhan of one who has a beautiful voice.' He sent for us, and we recited the Adhan one by one, and I was the last of them. When I said the Adhan he said: 'Come here.' He sat me down in front of him and
***rubbed my forelock***
and blessed me three times, then he said: 'Go and give the Adhan at the Sacred House.' I said: 'How, O Messenger of Allah?' He taught me as you say the Adhan now: 'Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar; Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah, Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah; Ashhadu anna Muhammad (SAW)an Rasulullah, Ashhadu anna Muhammad (SAW)an Rasulullah; Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah, Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah; Ashhadu anna Muhammad (SAW)an Rasulullah, Ashhadu anna Muhammad (SAW)an Rasulullah; Hayya 'alas-salah, Hayya 'alas-salah; Hayya 'alal-falah, Hayya 'alal-falah; as-salatu khairun min an-nawm; as-salatu khairun min an-nawm (Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest; I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah; I bear witness that Muhammad (SAW) is the Messenger of Allah, I bear witness that Muhammad (SAW) is the Messenger of Allah; I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah; I bear witness that Muhammad (SAW) is the Messenger of Allah, I bear witness that Muhammad (SAW) is the Messenger of Allah; Come to prayer, come to prayer; Come to prosperity, come to prosperity; prayer is better than sleep, prayer is better than sleep)' - in the first (Adhan) for As-Subh (Fajr). And he taught me the Iqamah, saying each phrase twice: 'allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, (Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar), Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah, Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah; Ashhadu anna Muhammad (SAW)an Rasulullah, Ashhadu anna Muhammad (SAW)an Rasulullah; Hayya 'alas-salah, Hayya 'alas-salah; Hayya 'alal-falah, Hayya 'alal-falah; qad qamatis-salah, qad qamatis-salah; Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar; La ilaha illallah (Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, (Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest); I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah; I bear witness that Muhammad (SAW) is the Messenger of Allah, I bear witness that Muhammad (SAW) is the Messenger of Allah; Come to prayer, come to prayer; Come to prosperity, come to prosperity; the prayer is about to begin, the prayer is about to begin; Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest; there is none worthy of worship except Allah)." (One of the narrators) Ibn Juraij said: "Uthman narrated this whole report to me from his father and from Umm 'Abdul-Malik bin Abi Mahdhurah, and (said that) they heard that from Abu Mahdhurah. (Hasan)
2.This happened during the time when the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam headed to Hunayn after the conquest of Makkah, in Al Ja’irranah.
He was Abu Mahdhurah Radiyallahu Anhu whose real name was Aws Ibn Rabi’ah Radiyallahu Anhu. He was 15 years old and was amongst the inhabitants of Makkah. He used to tend to ship with his friends around Makkah.
One day they went to an oasis in Al Jar’irranah close to Wadi Hunayn when he heard the sound of the adhan, and this was the adhan for Dhuhr made by Bilal Radiyallahu Anhu.
