Why is everyone calling her lucky? Periods suck but i would never ever want to get rid of mine. It lets me know that my body is working and that nothing is wrong with it, and i will be able to have children in the future.

Multiple Emotions Same here. I have endometriosis, PCOS, and Hashimoto’s, so my periods are so debilitating to the point where I have actually had to get a blood transfusion before. I have gone through birth control, which failed since it did not help at all and made me feel worse. My period suddenly stopped for about a year now and my doctor wants me to get back on birth control to restart it. Not happening though since I am very happy without it and do not desire kids.

So my cycle is still irregular, it’s been 1.5 years since my first one I think. It is more regular than irregular now, I usually get my period every 2 months, sometimes every month :)) It sucks🤡👹

When I was 12, I had terrible stomach pains thinking it was my period but it turned out I needed my appendix taken out. The following year, we went to a school camp and on the last day I had a terrible stomachache thinking it was something I ate during the whole trip, turns out it was my first period!! It was a relief for me because I had been expecting it for at least a year

I’m stuck at home for a week every month because my period is so heavy that i leak through an ultra tampon and pad within 10 minutes and the pain is so bad that I can’t function.All bc makes me bleed till i stop taking it so i cant be on any type of bc. I’m not allowed procedures to make it better or surgery to take it away since they won’t do those things on me since i dont want kids.
Im stuck dealing with it every month till I’m 50 and its very stressful. Yes you can’t have kids but i can guarantee you that you wouldn’t want to deal with the extremely heavy bleeding and horrible pain i go through every month.

I feel lazy and I stay in bed suffering from cramps. I just wish I never had mine. But I do feel bad for her because she wanted kids. But I will honestly deal with it I mean I will get breaks from it which is a good thing.

I always feel bad cause I would kill to get rid of mine. I don't have ANY intention of having kids and I always see stories of woman who physically can't have children and I feel like I'm taking it for granted. But its not enough to change my mind. if I ever want a child I would actually adopt one because the whole "birthing it out terrifies me to death AND I have the most biggest fear of surgery. So having a C section is not in my book. You can call me ungrateful but I usually think this " why bring a child into this world when so many other kids needs a home"

there are options for you...permanent birth control, partial/full hysterectomy, maybe even just a shorter window birth control like Mirena. I myself hit menopause at 28, and then I ended up having a partial hysterectomy. I'm free of any kind of problems now. if you ever wanna talk or just vent, I'm here for ya =)

If you don't want kids, never having your period is a major blessing, you are the luckiest women in the world.
I am turning 45 this December and never had any period in my entire life. Not feeling that I miss anything (you don't miss what you never have), most of the times I forget that as a woman I should have my period. Somehow the fact that I never had any period never really bothers me. My normal life might not be an ideal normal life to most people. I have never been married and throughout my life, marriage is something I rarely think about. I think about my studies, my career, my future, but oddly enough, not that much about getting married or having kids. I am very grateful that God made me this way and make me feel this way - not feeling like I am handicap or abnormal.
I never keep this as a secret. People should know that there are many kinds of people on this world. At times I do wonder if there are more people like me. So far, I have found no one yet, until I saw this video.

She got to a TV show for not having her period! My goodness, I'm 21, same situation, never gotten a period, however, I never wanted one, to begin with. I'm very often told that I'm fortunate to not have it, yet I cannot agree nor disagree cause at the end of the day, I've been informed that is horrible but haven't experienced it myself. And I'm sick. I don't think sickness is something fortunate. On the most bright of sides, meanwhile, I've always dreamt of marriage and children, my vision has always gone towards the direction of adopting since I can recall and the sickness kind of encompasses it. Makes me hopeful that my desired path can be respected thanks to it. I've gone through blood tests and ecos as well, the results were left in something but at the very same time, nothing.

To all the girls that are probably watching this at age 13, 14, or even 15 thinking "Oh my god! I haven't gotten my period yet, what if this is me?!" This is a very rare case. in fact in another video it explains that she was born without a fully developed uterus which happens to 1/5000. You are most likely, more than likely really to be a late bloomer. I didn't get my period until I was 14 and I know people who didn't start till they were 16. usually it matches with your mother. Whenever your mom got hers is most likely when you'll get yours...and even if you haven't gotten it yet and your mother got it earlier, you have genes from your dad as well and depending on the females in his family, you could start yours depending on them. Don't stress out about it. If you're 18 and still don't have a period, then I'd start to be concerned and go to a gynecologist. You're still growing and a lot of factors have to happen in order to start your period....one of them is weight. if you're exceptionally thin or underweight this could delay your period. Before your period you will start having a mucous white discharge. if you don't have this, you're not getting your period yet and you are most likely not that far along in puberty. You're going to be ok. Don't stress about it because stress could even delay it as well. I used to be anxious like you as a kid and at 14 I felt very far behind everyone else but when it finally happened I was so relieved and you will be too. Everything is fine, it'll all work out

Obviously if your adopted and don't know your birth parents you won't know which is all the more reason not to worry because you have no other female to compare it to. And if you are 18 and finally get your period then I guess you're just a late bloomer, but it's quite rare to start a period that late. If you're 18 and still didnt get a period I would still go to a gynecologist just to be safe
