I was very young when i dated someone who had been serving time here. He was manipulative, abusive, violated his parole constantly.
I have nightmares still decades later. Much damage can be inflicted with words.

@@evagonzalez7777 in prison or where I met him?
He said he saw Charles Manson in there once. And they locked eyes for a second. Creeped him out.
He served 3 yrs 8 mos got attempted M*rder and possession. He told me he "beat up" a woman and a man. He was let out early.
What I now know about levels of crime, attempted M is only that because the person survived. He never detailed what exactly their injuries were.
It terrifies me now. I saw him throw his cat out the 3rd floor window and I couldn't run there fast enough to stop him.
Later, he dangled me out the same window only holding me with a hand under each armpit. I thought for sure I was done.
He had me so beaten down I just wanted it to end. So I told him go ahead and drop me. Waited what seemed like an eternity and he pulled me back inside. And so my abuse continued.
He told me his IQ was 124 and he could talk circles around the psychiatrists. Said Vacaville is where they put the crazies.

Question here. They talk about how expensive it is to care for older criminals in prison and how they pose no threat to society and so on, but if they are released under some "compassionate release" or "medical release" program, they would still have to be cared for on the outside. Is that any cheaper than caring for them in prison? If not, this whole concept makes no fiscal sense in the first place.

I was at CMF from 80 to 84 before transferring to SQ. First FL. As a worker. L wing then P. CMF was a cool place to do time. Lots of killers going through the physic screening before going to parole hearing. I meet Manson. Camper. Rick Stevens. Onion field killers. Budda. That was many moons ago. Richard Lauranzano is serving a 50-year sentence for seven counts
of sexual offenses against children and murder. He is currently being
treated for a heart condition and was treated in prison for stage four,
non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. His cancer is now in remission. (Jan. 5, 2010,
Angela Carone/KPBS). He has an artificial heart that keeps him alive at the cost of millions to tax payers. He believes he should be paroled!

litewrkr1 artificial heart costing millions? No. If he has an artificial heart, there’s nothing to worry about since he won’t live more than a few years. Artificial hearts are not permanent and can’t sustain anyone long term. I believe the record is 4.5 years.

estimates range from a low of $100,000 to a high of $300,000 per patient in the initial year. Assuming a five-year, 51% survival and an initial cost of $100,000, total program costs in the fifth year are projected to be $1.3 billion for a pool of 12,000 patients, and $3.8 billion for 32,500 patients.

@@yahwehsdaughter8438 Great. He is actually. She hits him in the head and is subsequently pushed away (he says she scream like if she was being attacked and that he pushed her away... listen to the 911 call on our channel, there is a short aggressive scream and then two more ouch-like sound, ie. it happened this way), next second her husband rams him with the sledgehammer. He had no choice to defend himself. Further on this, which has not been made public, is that she comes at him with clenched fist the second after her husband is shot. Forensics showed that she has one arm raised, prosecution made up a story that she had her hands up - not true. Everything Kenney says happen fits with both the 911 call as well as forensics.
