This eargasmic song helped me climb a mountain. Its unique and compelling rhythms propelled me onwards and upwards, and suddenly, I found myself at one with the universe: It felt as though each rock and foothold had been placed specifically for my feet, and my feet alone; and with each beat, the planet rose to meet me in what seemed like an ancient dance that was as complicated as it was effortless. And while my feet remained earthbound by the song’s captivating rhythm, the haunting melody set my mind free and allowed it to roam; unfettered by earthly constraints, to explore a secret world beyond the path. As my awareness wandered, I thought not of the future, nor the past; instead, I communed with the cosmos in a near-magical immediacy where everything was just as it should be.
I remember going to this in Wellington, New Zealand, brilliant night with something I had not heard before, a good blending of African and Celtic music
Fantastic blend of musicians, it all just slots together so perfectly as ithey build it up.....love these guys ever since coming across them at glastonbury in the late 90s... ...xxxxx
It makes me so happy watching this, brings back all the good feelings created by seeing them live at The Wedgewood Rooms a few weeks ago. Such a powerful gig! More more more!!
They’re not there by my choice... shame on UA-cam if they’re doing that. I don’t make money from videos I post... nor should anyone else but the artist.
@@johnbarleycorn3 Simon, if you’re not happy with any of my videos, let me know and I’ll remove them. That night at the Barbican was truly special. I first saw the band when I was in the audience at Later with Jools in the 90s. Been lucky enough to see the band several times since.
omg I love Celtic music!! then to mix it with African sounds!! thank GOD ALMIGHTY! BEAUTIFUL
