Great video. Looked like so much fun. My friends and I used to occasionally go to a horse racing track near Seattle when we were in college. One time I won a trifecta and used the winnings to take our whole group to an Elton John concert that was playing in a stadium near the track. Good fun.
I love how you have the Aussie wave at the end of the day (fly swatting!)… You MUST go to HK for the races at night in Happy Valley. You would absolutely love it!!

I reckon you'll both go home with no money! I lived in Melbourne in the 1980's and 1990's and it was a wonderful place then. I've not watched the video yet, so I'm curious to know how you find it now. I've been to the Melbourne Cup a couple of times. I saw Bruce Springsteen at Flemington too, which was far more exciting.
Hardly seen a fly all year in Melbourne now l know why, they are all at the horse race track yes horse crap atracts flies.....neil and sarah you are naturals at speaking on your videos..l saw your videos in Queensland it does get humid and sweaty if walking alot if your older than 40 ..you will be skinny when you leave Oz hope you felt safe and you liked the food and beer ...pale ale mate that's what l drink and the wine no thanks that's goat piss..and the beaches are a good place to relax l usually ride my dirt bike down near the great Ocean Rd in summer ,I'm sixty this year, l retired like 40 years old ,its a full time holiday for me. ❤🇦🇺...cheers guys
Horse racing is like comparing a Deposit Account COMPARED to investing in Stocks/Shares. A Deposit Account is safe and boring, but mostly secure. While Stocks/Shares are high risk and you could lose ALL your money. A horse race is an unpredictable gamble and sadly the things that can go wrong, will go wrong. Only gamble with what you can afford!
Sarah. She picks like I do. Name that speaks to me. It drives my husband crazy that I leave with more money than I came with, while he’s studying the stats. Also, he plays poker. I play the worst game for odds. Roulette. I win more often than not. Lol.
I think it has to be you Neil but Claire thinks Sarah picks the same way as her so she’s putting the house on Sarah. We’ve had a little bet between us so hopefully I win the last sausage.
