- Since the 19th century, Protestant scholars have debated whether ancient Israel kept the Sabbath by looking to the lunar phases or they kept track of an independent 7-day cycle. For Seventh-day Adventists this question is vital. Arthur and Teresa Beem give evidence for both sides and allows you to decide.

Jericho was an ancient lunar calendar observation city dedicated to and named after their moon god.
The Bible called Jericho the "accursed city" and Joshua was commanded to totally destroy it and its inhabitants after marching around it once for six consecutive days, and seven times on the seventh day - i.e. 13 times in total !
I think that, as opposed to the Second Advent and the "Marriage of the Lamb" that nobody knows when, the preceding "great and dreadful day of the Lord" can actually be established as the 20th March 2031.
The world will feel that ominous consuming fire approaching and will run around trying to hide, while Christians enter into their inner prayer "chambers".
When the Christians come out, there will be no OTHER flesh and blood survivers - who will be burnt up and trodden "as ash under their feet."
They will mourn for their friends and relatives who weren't "saved", but SOMETIME afterwards will witness the return of Christ coming from east to west.
Raising their eyes they will be transformed in an instant, allowing them to rise up and meet His RETURN.
Thereafter, they will be consoled when He "wipes the tears" from their eyes and takes care of them like as "calves of the stall".
That's how I perceive these future Biblical events.
Don't the dead in Christ rise "first" - a great multitude ? Then those living Christians that are "left" come safely out of their prayer chambers - AFTER the "wrath", to "tread upon the ashes of the wicked who have been removed from the earth" - "The righteous shall NEVER be removed but the wicked shall be cut off".
These "saved" righteous remnant "lift up their eyes", and are then "changed in the twinkling of an eye", and able to rise up and meet Christ returning with this great host.....
The chronology in the Septuagint is a few hundred years longer than in the Masoretic Text. Both are flawed:
The imminent millennial reign of Christ on earth coincides with Yahweh's 2nd 'day' of rest - "and His rest shall be glorious" because His Son is ruling on earth for that 1000-year-day.
So if Yahweh's first "day" of rest was ALSO a thousand-year-day, in which Adam died at 930 years old "in the same day" he sinned, and Adam was also made near the end of the previous 6th 'day', then we are currently near the end of the 13th thousand-year-day which actually ends on the "great and dreadful day of the Lord" on the 20th March 2031.

The New moon has always been a very slim visible part of the moon, not darkness.
This is NOT true. The book of Psalm chapter 81 literally says the new moon day is the "kese" new moon. Kese means "fully covered, conceiled, hidden, veiled" in Hebrew.
The ancient Babylonian new moon day was the first visible sliver. As the Babylonians too used a version of the lunisolar calendar in ancient times.
Isaiah says TWICE that the "harlots of Babylon worship the crescent moon", then told Israel to have nothing to do with their idolotrous ways.
@@-kepha8828 SORRY no you are incorrect. The Hebrew words used in the Torah for New Moon, Is Rosh Chodesh and its meaning is Rosh = Head or beginning, and Chodesh = Month.
@@-kepha8828 and No moon does not mean new moon. There would never be a need for two witnesses if its dark. You could just look out and see that for sure. But with a slight sliver so slim its needing a witness to verify its there makes sense.

Kese means "full" in Hebrew. But the root word of kese per the concordance, is kasa. Kasa means "covered, conceiled, hidden, veiled, secret".
The kese new month is the "fully covered" moon.

We go by the New Moon each month,this is TRUTH!

Yes it is. Times were changed during Constantine. Who also mingled paganism with christianity. The holidays many keep today are not God's appointed time's.
The SDA know the truth, but want tell there congregation, they (SDA), said, “That’s a can of worms we don’t want getting out.” Back in the mid 1990’s five scholars hand-picked from the seminary at Andrews University. In addition to these five, there was also a representative from the Ministerial Department of the North American Division (NAD) of Seventh-day Adventists and another representative from the Ministerial Department of the General Conference. Robert M. Johnston, professor of New Testament and Christian Origins at the seminary, was selected to head this research committee. Vaults were thrown open for the committee. It had been expected that the committee would be able to very quickly refute the idea of the Sabbath being calculated by the ancient Hebrew luni-solar calendar. However, that is not what happened. Long story short. They were using the wrong Calendar, the only way to find the True Sabbath was the Lunar Calendar with a Full Moon not the dark or crescent. The main thing the NAD men wanted to cover up was the fact that October 22 is based on Jewish lunar calculation. He said that they were wanting to get people thinking that it was based on solar calendation. This led to extremely heated discussions among the committee members.
The general conference commissioned research into the topic twice and came to the same conclusion that the Creator's calendar is the correct calendar but they rejected the truth because they did not want to disrupt the church!! They are in bed with Rome!

You can find the information in the Center for Adventist research. I found Elaine Vornholt and Laura Lee Vornholts Archived book : The Great Calendar Controversy and they cited that the information came from there. I tried asking for the information from that Center and they sent me email. Which shows the requested item/boxes that there is of the Grace Amadon Collection. Maps, calendars etc etc and the findings.
I didn't need more to understand that Elaine Vornholts book was based upon Facts. Too bad I dont have the finances to get the hardcopy of the documents.

In 358 A.D., 33 years following the establishment of Rome’s new Christian Religion and new seven-day cycling week, the Yahudim (Jews), under extreme pressure, finalized the complete overhaul of their calendar. Seven years later, in A.D. 365, the Council of Laodicea, as recorded in one of the Roman Canons, legislated: “Christians must not Judaize by resting on the Sabbath, but must work on that day. Rather, honoring the Lord’s Day [Sunday]. But if any shall be found to be Judaizers, let them be anathema from Christ.” Council of Laodicea, Canon 29 If we had no knowledge of the recorded evidence that the Yahudim (Jews) had just seven years previously changed their calendar, reflecting their adoption of the Roman Saturday as their new Sabbath, we could assume, along with the ignorant, that Saturday had always been the Sabbath of the Jews. In this case, this quote legislating that the Sunday-keeping Christians must not Judaize by resting on the new “Saturday” Sabbath of the Jews was likely designed to keep up appearances as a way of segregation from the hated Jews.
On the other hand, this piece of legislation from the Council of Laodicea may have likely also referred to the original lunar Sabbath that the Jews had traditionally kept since antiquity. But, whichever the case, the real truth shines forth by the weight of evidence that, indeed, both the Romans and the Jews of that era changed every single unit of time. Thus, neither reflects the Torah Law, the prophecies of the true Messiah, or its principles of time-measuring today that were designed to synchronize His followers with His true worship rhythm.
I'm I wrong, or do you end up saying that the Seventh Day Sabbath is no longer needed because of Christ? If you are saying that, then what's the point of the video, other than to make keeping the Sabbath (which believers should absolutely do) seem much more complicated than it actually is?

In Hebrew scriptures, the word used was "ASaH" meaning "to make," therefore they were made through things that already existed. The sun, moon and stars were already created, probably on the 1st day of creation, the creation of light. To make something out of nothing in Hebrew or to create is "BaRA." If you read the preceding verse 24, it states "let the earth bring forth living creatures(/souls). The earth was already existing, & the beasts were made out of the earth, ground or dust, just like ADaM. The earth contains the DNA components to produce a living creature, & the DNA was made out of the earth, therefore it existed on the ground.

I saw the new moon this week, but it doesn't cause the sabbath to fall on the days 8, 15,22 etc. so I am confused. I really enjoyed this teaching, excellent video! Hello, it is cut and dry. Our creator is not the author of confusion. Are you comparing the Luni-solar calendar to the gregorian calendar? They have nothing in common.
If you are able to figure out the new moon, then that's day #1, followed by 6 work days then the Sabbath day of rest (day 8). Then 6 work days followed by the Sabbath (15th)to the end of the month.
It is quite simple once you count it out. I was confused at first but once you read Ezekiel 46:1-3, you will read that there are 3 separate categories of days.

If a lunar cycle is 29 or 30 days, how does God tell us to count 50 days and then Pentecost would be the day after the Sabbath? Based upon lunar sabbaths, it would not be 50 days unless you manipulated it to be 50 days.

The book of Jubilees, found in the dead sea scrolls, testifies that the feast of weeks is Always on the 16th day of the 3rd month. It says it in 7 SEPERATE chapters. This can only happen using a lunar week.

In regards to the count to SHAVUOT on the Creator's Lunar-Solar Calendar, also, the 50th Day will land EXACTLY where Leviticus 23:16 says where it lands... the day AFTER THE SEVENTH SABBATH DAY, and that ALSO proves that the Creator's Lunar-Solar Calendar IS the TRUE Calendar seen throughout the Scriptures. You can NOT possibly do this count to SHAVUOT on a Gregorian calendar and have the SAME outcome that lines up exactly what Leviticus 23:16 says.

The book of Jubilees, found in the dead sea scrolls, states in 7 SEPERATE chapters (1, 6, 14, 15, 16, 42, and 44), that the Feast of Shavuot must always fall on the 16th day of the 3rd month.
And since we know this feast must ALWAYS begin directly after a 7th day Sabbath, this works perfectly.
7 lunar Sabbaths plus 1 day, counting from the end of the feast of unleavened bread, always takes us to the 16th day of the 3rd month. Exactly when Jubilees says the Feast of Shavuot must take place.
This is all conclusive evidence that the lunar Sabbath is true.
The 2nd century AD church fathers wrote that the book of Jubilees was God inspired scripture that Rome was seeking to ban.
All makes sense now as to why.

SHAVUOT is also one of the 3 "pilgrimage" Feasts. The other 2 being Pesach/UNLEAVEN BREAD, and Sukkot. Those 2 Feasts occur during a Full Moon. The 16th day of the 3rd Month makes sense because there would still be a somewhat full moon present even though it would be in a waning state.

In the book of Acts, when Pentecost (Shavuot) takes place, and they receive the holy Spirit, Peter stands up and directly quotes Joel 1:29-30.
Then Peter says "on this very day Joels prophecy has been fulfilled".
So what did Joel say? Joel said "on the great day of the Lord, the sun will turn dark and the moon to blood red".
Sun turns dark = night
Moon blood red = blood moon
The moon can only turn blood red on a full moon. The moon is full on the 15th of the lunar months (approx). Peter was testifying that the very next day, this sign did infact occur right before Pentecost. Proving that Pentecost took place directly after the Sabbath blood moon on the 15th of the month.
This video really made clearer some issues I had concerning the arbitrariness of our current calendar and the international date line. For example the date line was moved in 2011 causing the seventh day of the week to be moved to Sunday in Samoa. I do have one question, how was time being calculated in the time of Jesus?

The word [month] received its origin with the word [moonth].
There is one fundamental flaw that everyone misses when it comes to the creation account that throws everyone off on and then a wrong conclusion is made. Here we have a verse that is showing either that God was working on the Sabbath day or that we actually have two different counts going on and we need to go through our Bibles as to what exactly is happening in this passage.

I do keep a lunar sabbath but I have to disagree with anyone saying the sabbath is the 8th 15th, 22, and the 29th. Because Gods words says that his sabbath day is the 7th day, and so on. 7, 14, 21, 28th from the first light crescent moon, which is day one.
THE NEW MOON IS THE FIRST LIGHT CRESCENT OF THE MOON, NOT A DARK MOON. The Creators Years, months, weeks, and sabbaths are counted from the new moon, BUT a new moon is NOT a dark moon. How would a man in ancient times even have known that a dark moon in a night sky was there? He wouldn't. It is the first sliver of light that indicates a new moon and the beginning of the months to start the count to each of the four Sabbaths a month.
If a person tries to count the beginning of a month using a dark moon, when there is two dark moons which one is used to start the month? The first one or the second one? There is no biblical direction for such a situation.
However there are 28 days of light in each of the Creators months, and then there will be either one dark moon or two dark moons that will complete the months. Making the Creators months 29 to 30 days. A man of ancient times would have been able to see the first light of a crescent moon to start his count to the four Sabbaths a month.
Each sabbath a month will always be the 7th day from the first light of the crescent moon, the 14th day from the first light of the crescent moon, the 21st day from the first light of the crescent moon, and finally the 28th day from the first light of the crescent moon, Then it all starts over again with the next Thin sliver of light of the crescent moon marking the beginning of the next month.
You can see in the jkv that the new moon starts a month in 1 Samuel chapter 20 which speaks of David hiding himself in the field until the third day, David begins his count to the third day by started his count from the new moon day (which is the first light of a crescent moon) These verses proves the new moon starts Elohiyms months and weeks. 1 Samuel 20:5, 18-19, 24-25 (New Moon Day, day 1) verse 27 (the second day from New Moon) and verse 34 (the third day from the New Moon)
And with this understanding we can logically conclude that if day one and day two and the third day is true when counted from the new moon, then we can also conclude that the 7th day from the new moon is also true and the Creators 7th day Sabbath when counted from the first light of a crescent moon.
I have found in the book of Enoch, where it shows in chapter 78:12-14 that a new moon is when light is first visible on a dark moon, NOT A DARK MOON IT SELF.

As you see here it is called New Moon when light is received into the dark moon on the the first day of the month.
In the book of Jubilees it shows that it is a New Moon that begins each month. the Book of Jubilees chapter 6:23 And on the New Moon of the first month, and on the New Moon of the fourth month, and on the New Moon of the seventh month, and on the New Moon of the tenth month are the days of remembrance and the days of the seasons in the four divisions of the year. Theses are written and ordained as a testimony forever.
It is the gregorian calendar that has everyone mixed up with how dates and seasons are calculated in the words of Yahusha.

The Creator also said in the book of Jubilees, that his people would go astray as to new moons.

For those you will say that by counting the sabbath from the first light of the crescent moon that the sabbath will be floating around from month to month, it is the gregorian calendar that is the problem. The gregorian calendar rearranges the numbers of each of its months to cause all their holidays and day light savings times to fall where they want them each year. That is also the reason why the sabbath would seem to be on a different day each month when trying to count the sabbath from the new moon correctly. You cant use the gregorian calendar when dealing with scriptural time lines. You can use the gregorian in your interactions with everyday life, but not when counting the biblical days, weeks, months, sabbaths, and appointed times.
Remember the sun and moon does the exact same things every day without fail. It does not do something different each day. Proof of this is that our clocks follow the movement of the sun and moon everyday exactly.
In the Creators months there are 28 days divided amongst 4 groups of 7 making four weeks and one sabbath at the end of each of those 4 weeks, then at the end of the month one or two dark moons. Dark moons end a month and the first light of the crescent moons begins each month. There are 4 weeks in each month and then one or sometimes two dark moons in some months.
The dark moon days are not part of the four weeks but they are counted to complete a month. Which will cause a biblical month to have either 29 days or 30 days depending on how many dark moons will be at the end of a month.

Yeah, I have spent some time studying both camps about a 7th day or 8th day of the month being a Sabbath. Both have some interesting arguments. I just believe that the Sabbath pointed to Christ and like the passover lamb sacrifice was fulfilled with Christ's death and resurrection.

Understand dark moons end a month and a first light crescent moon begins a new month. How else would the people in the wilderness know when months began and ended, there had to be indicators of that. My only fault was calling the first day moon (New Moon) when the verse in Enoch only said when that first sliver of light is on the dark moon it is call FIRST DAY, not new moon day.
What we have to do is reason together to see how the verses we read fit together and how they apply to us in the real world. When reasoning we cannot move to something that does not fit scripture, and if our reasoning bring us to a conclusion that does not match scripture then we have too keep trying to figure it out until we come to a result that matches scripture. Because the bible show that Yah's sabbath is on the 7th day not the 8th.

So I have to follow what is written.
You said the 16th day was the 1st day of collecting manna and that is correct, but the 16th is also just the 2nd day of the 3rd week of that month, Their first day of collecting manna started on the second day of that week, and just because they started collecting manna on the second day does not change the count to the weekly sabbaths. I think you seem to feel that because the creator gave them the commandment about collecting manna on the 15th (the 1st day of the third week) that it means they have to count seven days from the 16th (the 2nd day) of the 3rd week, but that is not the case, because that count will position them one day past the sabbath at the end of that 3rd week.
The commandments from the Creator was just the instructions of what He wanted Israel to do. Six days gather manna and on the 6th day gather twice as much and then on the sabbath day rest. The Months have only four weeks, and four sabbaths a month, one sabbath at the end of each of the 4 weeks, all counted from the first light of the crescent moon being day one, 7, 14, 21, 28 this count does not change in a month.
Taking into account the day that the Creator gave Moses the instructions to give to Israel (the 15th), and understanding that a month only has four weeks and at the end of each of the four weeks there is one sabbath each means that Israel will collect manna on day 2 of the 3rd week (the 16th) - day 3 of the 3rd week (the 17th) - day 4 of the 3rd week (the 18th) - day 5 of the 3rd week (the 19th) - day 6 of the 3rd week (the 20th Gather twice as much) - day 7 of the 3rd week (the 21st day which is the 3rd Sabbath of the third week of that month to rest.) This is the correct way to count with those things considered.
I understand that even If the creator had given His instructions in the middle of the week, lets say on the 4th day of that week, that would only mean that they would have had 3 days until the sabbath, 2 days to gather and then rest on the sabbath. Starting on day 5 of the 3rd week (the 19th) - day 6 of the 3rd week (the 20th Gather twice as much) - day 7 of the 3rd week (21st day and the 3rd Sabbath of the second month rest.) This would have been the correct way to count if the Instruction had been given on the 4 day of the week.
Lets get even more in to it, lets say the instructions were giving on day 6 which would been in the 3rd week (the 20th Gather twice as much) . What happens now, were the people to counts 7 days from the 6th day? NOOOOOOO. That very day they would have collected twice as much on the same day the instruction were given on and rest the next day because the next day would be the 7th day sabbath, in their case it would have been day 7 of the 3rd week (21st day and the 3rd Sabbath of the second month rest.)
Now after the third week has gone and the fourth week has started they will have that whole 7 day week and all future 7 day weeks to sync up with the instructions in full with 7 day complete weeks from then on.
You said there is no clear examples. I offer you 1 Samuel 20 when david hid him self in the field until the 3rd day from the new moon, that chapter mentions the second day from the new moon, which indicates that the count from the new moon does not change. Meaning that after david's 3rd day in the field from the new moon, there will be four days until the first sabbath day of that first week of that month.
Also in Ezekiel 46 when it speaks of the gates being shut on the six working days but on the new moons and sabbaths they shall be open, indicating again the count from the new moon does not change, so the 7th day from the new moon is the sabbath day 4 times in a month, 7, 14, 21, and 28th.
The simplest verse is Exodus 20:8-10 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: The 7th day is the Creators sabbath 4 times a month...7, 14, 21, 28.
Also you mentioned about Jesus dying on the 14 day of the first month from the new moon, yes that is true because he is the Passover lamb that had to be killed on the Passover day which is the 14th day from the new moon, but also that same 14th day is the second sabbath of the first month as well, which will make the Passover always fall on the second weekly sabbath day of the first month which is the 14th day from the new moon.
You mentioned that, the 14th day was also a preparation day, yes that is true, but that's because the 14th day being the weekly sabbath and the Passover it is also the preparation day for the first day of the feast of unleavened bread which is the next day the 15th. The Passover is always the preparation day for the first day of the feast of unleavened bread which is the next day. The first day of the Feast of Unleavened is the next appointed day after the 14th day Passover on the 15th day of the first month. The Creator said that the first day of the feast of unleavened bread we shall have a holy convocation and not to do any servile work making the 15th like a sabbath, but it is not the weekly sabbath day. The Passover being on the 14th and the first day of the feast of Unleavened bread being on the 15th is the reason why the 14th day is the preparation day for the 15th day.

I vote for the lunar Shabbat. It makes more sense. When “they” tell you the new moon begins when you SEE the crescent... it throws off the cycle. The crescent points to day 2 GO BACK TO WORK! The problem is the translation, Hadash does not mean new moon.

Kese is a hebrew word. The english bible wrongly translates "kese" as "full moon". Yet the Hebrew word kese has NOTHING to do with the moon. Kese means "full" according to the hebrew concordance. The word moon is NOT present at all. So the "full" what?

All hebrew words have a 3 letter root word embedded in the middle of all words. A root word further defines, describes, and give understanding to the original word being used.
The hebrew root word of kese in this verse is "kasa" according to the hebrew concordance.
Kasa literally means "covered, conceiled, hidden, veiled".

This definitively proves that the new moon day was not the first visible sliver (cresent moon) or the full moon. 1. Leviticus 23:1-3 says the Sabbath is the first of the Mo’edim (feasts-Strong’s H#4150), so you can ignore Genesis 1:14 (heavenly luminaries are for Mo’edim), and Psalms 104:19 (moon for Mo’edim).
2. If you think the Sabbath is NOT a Mo’ed, then ignore all of the following passages of Scripture: Numbers 15:3, I Chronicles 23:31, II Chronicles 2:4, II Chronicles 8:13, II Chronicles 31:3, Ezra 3:5, Nehemiah 10:33-34, Ezekiel 45:17, and Hosea 2:11.

Disregard the fact that on the 15th day of the third month Israel departed from “Rephidim" which means rest (Exodus 19:2), inferring that the 15th day of the month for three consecutive months has been a weekly Sabbath, which cannot happen with the pagan/papal Gregorian calendar. The Gregorian can produce a weekly Sabbath for TWO consecutive months IF a February of a non-leap year is the first month (and assuming that the 15th of February just happens to be a Satyrday). February did not exist 4,000 years ago.
Point to Ponder: A calendar tells you when to worship. WHEN you worship tells heaven and the on-looking universe WHO you worship. It’s that serious! The Gregorian calendar is only a little over 420 years old and came into existence at the hand of a Jesuit astronomer and Pope Gregory XIII.
7. Normally, I like 2-3 witnesses (texts) in order to prove a doctrine, but I will lower that standard to even ONE passage in Scripture that says that Satyrday is the Sabbath. When you cannot find one, please ignore that as evidence.

Please disregard the fact that the daily sacrifices of Numbers chapters 28-29 are offered in addition to the sacrifices of the weekly Sabbath and annual feasts, and that the monthly offering is offered in addition on Yom Teruah (Feast of Trumpets), the first day of the seventh month. But the Sabbath offering is never offered if it “just happens” to fall on one of the feast days. There are no coincidences in Scripture.
9. Ignore that Numbers 29:12-35 shows eight days where the first and last (15th and 22nd) are Sabbaths. There is no provision for a Sabbath to “just happen to fall in the middle somewhere” because the Sabbaths are fixed, they fall on the same days each month.
10. Ignore how Exodus 40 through Leviticus 8 describes the seven days of consecration for Aaron and his sons (starting on Rosh Chodesh-the new moon or first day of the month) without the intervention of a Sabbath, and how the Sabbath fell on the 8th, the day AFTER the 7 day consecration. This seven day stretch was a new moon and 6 work days if you’re counting.
11. Try to spiritualize away the battle of Jericho (Joshua 6:1-16), and how every day for seven days, Israel dressed for battle, carried every weapon at their disposal AND carried the Ark of the Covenant into this battle. Which begs the question: Which day of this 7 day battle was the Sabbath?
Point to Ponder: For 40 years, YHVH taught Israel how to keep the Sabbath. Are we to believe that His first instructions after entering the land was to break the Sabbath by engaging in battle? Come now, let us reason together. The Book of Jasher, twice mentioned in Scripture, gives an account of this battle adding only one small detail. This 7 day battle began on a new moon day (Day 1). Day one is followed by six working days (2-7). The first Sabbath of each month is the 8th day of the month. Israel marched around Jericho for 7 consecutive days (1-7) and did not break the Sabbath, as they observed the Creation Calendar…
12. Please disregard the dozen times in the Old Testament that Rosh Chodesh and the weekly Sabbath are uttered in the same breath, especially those which show a connection between them (Amos 8:5, II Kings 4:23, etc. See #2)
13. Try to spiritualize away the fact that new moon days are always excluded from the work days and Sabbaths (Ezekiel 46:1-3, Isaiah 66:23, and Amos 8:5). New moon day is a 3rd category of day. It is the first day of the month, but not a day of the week, which consists of 6 work days and a Sabbath.
Point to Ponder: Ever wondered why the new moon can now fall on any day of the month? Answer: “In 46 B.C., Julius Caesar asked astronomer Sosigenes to suggest ways to improve the calendar. 14. Ignore the total lack of postponement rules in the Torah dealing with the inevitable conflicts between Satyrday and YHVH’s other appointed times-and be thankful that Hillel II, a Jewish priest, added them for you, to “repair” what YHVH had ordained.
15. Ignore the counting of the Omer given in Leviticus 23:15-16, and instead of counting it exclusively as commanded, (to count seven Sabbaths complete, then count 50 days) change it to inclusive to “make it work” using the Gregorian calendar (49 + 1).

When Jesus walked the earth the Hebrew leaders were observing the 7th day Sabbath wrong by being so harsh and strict that the leaders themselves could not follow their own sabath traditions.
Trying to use their example to determine the proper way to do things is quite misguided in the first place. In Genesis 1 all of the days in creation week started at sun up but these guys begin their day at sundown the previous day? 😂😂😂 Ok Ok let's follow that example 😮

One issue you didn't bring up is what is a 'day', when does it begin, end and how long does it last? Roman Catholic's have a midnight to midnight 'day', Jews have a sundown to sundown 'day' but some advocate for a Dawn to Dawn 'day' while still other's advocate for a Dawn 🌆 to Dusk 🌆 'day' with the 7th 'DAY' Sabbath only being the Light hours.
