Well, overall experience is better with Helios neo, with better ports, may be better screen (cant say that for sure) and over all built and design. But thats completely my personal take on this. But performance of loq will be better than that of helios with 8 gb vram 4060 aand i7

But know this, screen bleed is not something brand or series specific. It is unit spefic, which means ur neo 16 might have no bleed at all, but my same neo 16 may have a lot. Basically it comes while manufacturing or shipping, and after handling. That was a different laptop. Basically, there are 2 predator helios. 1. Acer predator helios 16 2. Acer predator helios NEO 16 Neo model does not have a glass bar, but blue brackets design at back. Definitely. If you can find decent price gap between these 2 variants, go for 4050 easily. However, if u do tasks that requires more VRAM, like 3d modeling or AI work, consider 4060 variant.
As you mentioned the RAM configuration is 8+8 GB, so for upgrading it to 32GB one has to get two new 16GB DDR5 4800 MHz sticks, that would be quite costly right?
My Predator Neo 16 came with a " 32bit x2 " RAM when I check the dual channel specs in CPU-Z software. Does this mean that only one slot is occupied by a 16GB DDR5 RAM and the other is empty? Can anyone clarify on this? Also I noticed that the bezel aren't completed attached to the screen and when you press it a gap shows, especially around the Logo area. No t really, for more clarification, check the task mannager, ram. It will say how many slots are filled In case of bezels, get it checked with acer service centre near u, if its under warranty, u might be able to get it replaced, as this issue should not appear on its own

Hello ! WUXGA is one type of screen resolution (or in simple words, size of screen) which is a FHD screen with bigger size than usual. Wva and IPS are types of panels And have nothing to do with size or resolution. I dont think that dell g15 supports HDR, but i cant be sure as i have not seen one in real life yet. But most probably it wont have HDR. All Panels nowdays are relatively safe for eyes. They are based on LCD technology, with puts really less strain on eyes. But if u wanna take extra caution, select a panel with higher refresh rate and good brightness range. But i am pretty sure NO screen in this world is harmless for eyes for anyone who uses it extensively.

The thing is, i believe personally, that 2 units of exact same models may perform different in same games. There are a lot of factors effecting the performance. To be honest, i dont have much personal experience with LOQ. But from all info i have gathered on it, I can say go for predator helios neo. 1. LOQ is basically rebranded legion Ideapad series, so low built quality and compromises in hardware as well may be there. I mean i think LOQ is comparable to Acer Nitro. Predator is obviously better. 2. Thermals of Predator are fantastic, and LOQ doesnt stand a chance against it. 3. If u are going to game, 4050 will perform almost equal to 4060, as most of reviewers have tested, and i can say this with personal experience as well. U dont really need extra 2 gb vram for hardcore gaming alone. 3d modelling or AI work is a seperate story though. 4. Port selection of helios is far better than LOQ 5. SCREEN of predator is much better than LOQ.
The marginal increase in fps doesnt really suggest to buy 4070. But the thinking is that modern games are going to require modern hardware, so concern of future proofing is solved with 4070
Well if you talking about its capability to play games at 1440p, well, it is capable to play games at 1440p However u will need an external monitor to do so as this particular variant has a 1080p screen only.
Yes, there will be a difference, but if you are going to play less demanding games like valorant, it wont be noticeable If you wanna play demanding games like cyberpunk or spiderman remastered, you will notice a gap. If you wanna do editing on this, on photoshop or video editing, again, you will see the difference. So if you wanna do demanding tasks and editing, go for i7, else save ur money and go for i5
Yes, 4060 has total 8 gb vram (2 gb more than 4050) which enhances its usage in more vram demanding things like 3d modelling and better performance in demanding games. It will also bring out best in i7 13th gen. So if money is not a constraint, definitely go for i7 + 4060
I have this laptop. After reinstalling Windows 11 and installing Predator Sense, I adjusted the RGB keyboard light. But the keyboard light does not change and only has a blue color. While before installing Windows, Each of the 4 zones worked!! Please guide me where the problem is
Its either an internal windows issue or lack of updated drivers, i think. For windows issue, Call the customer care or, try to reinstall windows by downloading the iso from Microsoft's official website. For driver issue, download latest drivers from acer's official website, install them, restart, see if its fixed

Hello buddy. The problem was with the serial IO driver. I downloaded and installed it from another website, the RGB turned on immediately after restarting the laptop. Otherwise, I had to reinstall Windows. It was certainly a futile and fruitless effort. Thank you🎉🎉❤

It should only be able to support 16+16, i.e. 32 gb. But some of the unverified users are saying it can be upgraded to 32 + 32 as well. I think it should not be the case as even if it runs 32+32, it would bottleneck to 16+16 due to motherboard restrictions. Still waiting on some verified user to check this.

I sort of experimented it on my dell laptop once last year. Its a dell inspiron 15 3467, which supports 8+8 gb configuration. I put in 16 gigs with higher clock speed. But there was no performance difference at all. During research later, i found that they can run laptop on higher than specified memory and clock speed, but the hardware will only use that many resources, which it is designed to support.

3070ti is 40,000 less costly.
The marginal increase in fps doesnt really suggest to buy 4070. But the thinking is that modern games are going to require modern hardware, so concern of future proofing is solved with 4070

Yes, there will be a difference, but if you are going to play less demanding games like valorant, it wont be noticeable

So if you wanna do demanding tasks and editing, go for i7, else save ur money and go for i5

Yes, 4060 has total 8 gb vram (2 gb more than 4050) which enhances its usage in more vram demanding things like 3d modelling and better performance in demanding games. It will also bring out best in i7 13th gen. So if money is not a constraint, definitely go for i7 + 4060
are you sure that the second SSD slot has a form factor of 2260? I mean it's not mentioned anywhere so how do you know?
Well i saw the back opened and the screw given suggests a small form factor. I could be wrong though.

I have this laptop. After reinstalling Windows 11 and installing Predator Sense, I adjusted the RGB keyboard light. But the keyboard light does not change and only has a blue color. While before installing Windows, Each of the 4 zones worked!! Please guide me where the problem is
Its either an internal windows issue or lack of updated drivers, i think.
For windows issue, Call the customer care or, try to reinstall windows by downloading the iso from Microsoft's official website.
For driver issue, download latest drivers from acer's official website, install them, restart, see if its fixed
Try the driver's fix first.
I downloaded Windows from Microsoft, I also downloaded and installed the drivers through Windows Update. All the options. What is your recommended program for updating the drivers?

Hello buddy. The problem was with the serial IO driver. I downloaded and installed it from another website, the RGB turned on immediately after restarting the laptop. Otherwise, I had to reinstall Windows. It was certainly a futile and fruitless effort. Thank you🎉🎉❤

Is the Form Factor is 2280 or 2260?
The unit that i had, contained 1 x 2280 (which was already filled) and 1 x 2260 (which was empty). But this may vary according to region.

Can it be upgraded to 64G RAM?
It should only be able to support 16+16, i.e. 32 gb. But some of the unverified users are saying it can be upgraded to 32 + 32 as well.
I think it should not be the case as even if it runs 32+32, it would bottleneck to 16+16 due to motherboard restrictions.

I sort of experimented it on my dell laptop once last year. Its a dell inspiron 15 3467, which supports 8+8 gb configuration. I put in 16 gigs with higher clock speed. But there was no performance difference at all. During research later, i found that they can run laptop on higher than specified memory and clock speed, but the hardware will only use that many resources, which it is designed to support.
