@ the second defender blocking the path to goal doesn’t matter tho. The first guy chopped him down with no ball. Even if it’s 0.01% chance the bounce goes the attackers way the attacker is not allowed to be chopped down like that.
it happened right in front of me, it was a dive more than anything. this angle makes it look like there was solid contact but there wasn’t, that’s why it wasn’t given
@@ErsatzGhost “chopped him down” be serious bro ☠️ if you were there live or saw any other angle you’d know it was extremely light contact and the WM player dove. if he didn’t exaggerate the fall so much ref probably would’ve given it
I don’t want anyone to lose their job. I would like to suggest that this announcer be transitioned to basketball or a sport he may have played Also. That was a clear foul
were you there live, or have you seen any other angle? it wasn’t a “clear foul,” it was extremely light contact and the WM player tried too hard to sell it by dragging his leg and diving
not a penalty. there was almost no contact, i promise it’s only a believable dive from this angle. i was directly side on and the ref had a good angle as well.
whoever does the editing - there is room for improvement (dont cut so quick after a goal, show some celebrations before replay and let the plays build up a bit. See the EPL highlights to get an idea) - just saying.
because the defender didn’t trip him, there was almost no contact and even that was only because the WM player dragged his back foot and dove forward the moment he felt something. it was obvious live
Defender dives clumsily at the ball with other people there to defend and takes out the player. Clear penalty, but college soccer refs reputations precede themselves. Gotta beat the bluebloods convincingly to have a shot, otherwise you'll have no favors done.
False. Any body part of the attacking player in the offside position shall be deemed offside. The headed pass comes outside of the 6 yard box. Yet the attackers left leg has already entered the 6 yard box.
@@bradp3766 False. Any body part that can be used to score can be used to determine if the player was in an offside position. In this instance, the player who scored the goal was fully behind the ball when it was headed toward him. Good goal.
BOOTS IT!!! 🗣️🗣️🗣️
Western Michigan robbed of that pk…why even have VAR if it’s going to be that bad
Hundred percent, defender didn’t get any of the ball and he would’ve only had one more player to beat before going to goal. Shocking honestly

At least you beat one Michigan team😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Would love to hear the referee’s rationale for no penalty. 7:28

Every time this announcer said "boots it" I cringed. Please, don't let this guy commentate soccer again. 😆
Clear PK. That was awful

Yes, there was a PK. But also, first WMich goal should have been disallowed for offside.

@ False. The headed pass came outside of the 6 yard penalty box while the scorer’s leg was inside. Offside. No goal.
I can keep going if you’d like.
