Wow, blocking off Glass (aka blue bottle) for everyone, and then relying on 2nd tier power to be the only one who can affor anything in age 3 is brilliant!
Just finished watching the actual game. Really interesting picks and great foresight into your opponents choices. I admit I would have made the mistake and built forum.Crazy card distributions and opponents played well despite the chaos.
Good video! I am still a little confused about Olympia A. Let’s say you build stage 2 in age 2, and then you build a blue card in age 2 that you have all the resources for. Does that count as you playing that blue card for “free”? Meaning you don’t have free blue builds in age 3?
I know this is an old video, but around 1:25 you say the green guy is to your right, and youd prefer him to be to your left. Can you explain why?? I'm assuming if you were also going green, you would prefer him on your right instead of on your left, correct? I'm also guessing that because the green guy is on your right, you hold more responsibility to hide some of his greens and therefore that limits some of your picks?
It's actually very simple, if he is on my left, age3 he will pass me the "good" non-green cards. If he is on my right he will pass them to someone else.
@@WonderfulPlays Obviously I'm just not playing it right then. I loved the two way built in trading post in Olympia B old version. My rating is only around 250 on BGA so just need to git gud.
@@zmollon Ah sorry I assumed you were talking about Olympia A from the old edition, but should have propably guessed that it was B. Yeah B was a little sad to go, but I'll have some new cool wonder like that for you to play in my custom wonder set soon :)
12:40 School was the correct choice, because there is no other gives him access to even 2 sets
Very nice film as always :D. Looking forward for the Alexandria video and short tutorial about it. Have a nice day!
I'll try to cover that soon!

My favorite way to play the game! (block the resources)
@@WonderfulPlays interesting, but this situation means that nobody played the glass in epoch 1, mistake for the others?

Yep it counts as the "free" build, as only the 1st card per game is free.

I hate that Olympia was a wonder I always was fine getting in the old version and just trash tier in this version.
It's very bad for 3P, but 4+ I like it. It's quite the same as the old version on A.
