You take it all wrong. At the beginning I was a fool equal like you... fighting this boss the wrong way. Disarm the two guardians without killing them, olny make sure they can't pick up a rifle by eliminating all the ak 47's discharging and trhowing them so they dissapear. No Ak 47, no guardians shooting at you. Even you can keep the only ak 47 if you want, but don't throw it to the floor if it has bullet remaining. Now the russian is easy task.
Bro I hope some of the stuff from this game is brought in some sort of way into the Netflix series, maybe even in the rumored Punisher film for the series. At least have more stuff from the comics too.

I hate this mission. But I think the trouble with this boss fight, is if you play it on console, its like 3 times harder because it is so hard to aim at the barrels and with the minions spawning indefinitely its easily one of the worst boss battles I've ever played in my time with shooters
@@mikecabrera7393 Oh yeah I know exactly what you're talking about. I had to check the options to see if I could fix the aiming's EXTREMELY slow movement only to my dismay did I find out there was no such option. 😭
I think you been playing in easy or normal. No way that the Russian take that quantity of energy with his punches in hard difficulty. In hard mode is another story. Is hard as hell and i killed him with granades.
@@kencur9690 I beat it on Hard too. finally figured out theres a spot in the back left corner where you can cheese it so he just stands there and lets the barrels explode. Found that out after like 30 failed attempts. I wish the fine aim mode wasn't such trash and the hit reg on the barrels was actually consistent. still love the game overall but some QOL changes would be great.

I played the demo and then got the full game and i remember that the demo was like WAAAAY more gorey and wild, think they watered it down a bit

I don't know what the deal is with the ps2 version but when you set the Russian ablaze the frame rate takes a nosedive.

I did it on hard... had only one grenade. I simply went next to the barrels and lingered there. Took a few attempts but finally managed it.
