- Epic footage of the Largest Tidal Waves on the planet due 12 metre tides in the remote Kimberley Coastline in Western Australia. Largest Wave of the tidal change is at 2.05 with Jet ski going down the main face. Never been surfed or filmed commercially and Jet Ski'd only twice. Awesome drone footage of this phenomena by Kevin Pearce. Due Covid, next expedition planned for 2022.
The amount of water that is moving is terrifying.
Tidal scares me more then onshore breaks for some reason. Beautiful video
Send this to Jamie o Brian! He’s game for sure 🤙🏾
or Ben Gravy
man imagine falling in there
What an awesome video! Must have been an amazing experience to have been there. Thanks for sharing :)
absolutely beautiful with a very nice adaptation of classical music! Really, here is an extraordinary little report that respects the Ocean as one respects a great Lady!
Thanks to you! Or thank you for this wonderful sharing!
he wouldn't want to run out of gas
This is incredible footage of a very special location. I have surfed tidal rapids in a sea kayak in various places in the world, but did not know about this place. I'd love to get on that Oct 2019 expedition!
My facebook seair pierre . Pm me!
If u go in a yak you’ll get eaten by crocs for sure
Wow
Were is this man?
@@seairpierre6838 I'll add you as my real name bro gimme a second
Wow, first time I see tidal wave in the ocean 😍
Before, I think tidal bore wave only in the river 🧐
That is amazing. Great video. Thanks. What's the location? Great job with the music aswell
An absolute incredible video. Am I right that this is actually an outflow of water to a lower level causing series of standing waves?
Its the result of a 12 metre + tide and the massive flow of water of some 250 feet deep travelling through an area some 50 feet deep. Only way it can go is up!
@@seairpierre6838 so it is going up and over the rocks I saw in the earlier shots? Both incoming and outgoing King tides? Your video is unbelievable. I can't imagine what it must be like to experience this in person.
@@khunrichz4855 It sure does. I am at a loss as to why the likes of BBC or Nat Geo have never filmed this natural phenomenon.
@@seairpierre6838 looks like you have some great video for them. You might want to see what they would pay for this.
@@khunrichz4855 Yeah. Tried them all and no interest. Cant work it out as this area has never been filmed to showcase it to the World. Tried Nat Geo, Red Bull, BBC , Attenborough etc etc
Music is crazy!
This is by far the most impressive surf footage I’ve seen on UA-cam since Laird Hamilton towed into that massive wave at teahupoo. There’s only two men that could probably tackle this wave. @jamie O’Brien and Ben Gravy orrrrrrr will it be @Koa Rothman and Nathan Florence. The race is on, LETS GOOOOOOOOOOI!!!
These are, of course, not tsunami waves (tsunamis are often mistakenly called tidal waves). I was wondering if the jetski power could be turned off so that it could actually surf the waves with gravity. I am presuming that the steepness is not adequate to provide enough speed to keep on the front side of the wave. I'd appreciate comments from the more knowledgeable. Awesome wave! Awesome video!
That is unbelievable! Great job filming, now you need to tow someone in to surf!!!
Easier said than done. You volunteering?
@@seairpierre6838 sure but I live in Stockton CA, you flying me out? All jokes aside that is incredible footage!!!!!!!
@@garycollins4399 GLAD YOU LIKED IT! REVISED AND BETTER CLIP LOADED THE OTHER DAY TOO.
LARGEST TIDAL WAVES in the WORLD Mk 2 - Now Screening!
What about surfing with a hydrofoil?
wow, that was great. Nice job! Total control out there.
This music reminds me so much of the Layland Brother's videos which is where I first saw this stuff in WA!
That Sky soundtrack is unmistakable. So long ago I heard it.
Where was this ? Australia !!!
I would like to know the title of the soundtrack. Incredible rendition of Bach's Toccata and Fugue.
Pretty sure the soundtrack "Toccata" is done by a band called Sky back in the late 70's
Music by group called SKY
Cover is by a band called "Sky". Done in the 1970s. It's awesome!
Toccata - Sky
2yrs later and pops up on feed, haha. This version is by a group called Sky. 👍
WOW! thats crazy! why is the tidal current so strong there ????
looks like long wave surfs. WOW!!
is that just from extreme tides going through a channel with reef or something>?
Great footage, can you be accurate with a location for this spot? I mean.. the Kimberley is huge, I'm guessing that this is way up north of King sound?
I'd hazard a guess and say that it's in the One Arm Point area
Sunday Island Area!
Brilliant vid.
Glad u like it. New one just posted - LARGEST TIDAL WAVES in the WORLD Mk 2 - Now Screening!!
Magical
Wow thats insane.
very cool big boys playing with their big toys
Wow!
As a surfer I have strong mixed feelings about this
gnarly.
eyegasm^^
Waowww!!!!!!.It’s so fun. Where is that place?
Bad ass
it would be great to see a surf kayak (ala soul 303, gonzo or glide) on these waves. from the drones perspective and how that ski has to keep on the throttle, i’m guessing a playboat (rockstar, jed eye, antix or mobious) would be too slow to stay on it.
Foilers Paradise !
Those currents must be outragous.
Completely bonkers if dude falls he’s dead 😬
All I think is downwind foiling, .... It's hard to find great long wave like this. I will probably be tired after 20 minutes on it foiling
I didn’t know the ocean moved that way….
This shits got me Flummoxed

Watch/Wash your mouth
Did Kevin Pearce have a business in Tassie called "Wilderness Air" years ago?
Yes he did.
where are Jamie O'brien and Ben Gravy?
is that high tide covering an island?
How is he just going straight?
and the guy was never seen again...
Surely someone has tried to surf this spot. They are either stoked or dead 😪
Nope. This is not the largest tidal wave in the world. Not even close. But, it is very very beautiful.
Foil heaven
what if you jumped in?
If you go down how far out to sea will you go!?
A very long way!
How far from shore?
send this to ben gravy or jamie obrien
whatever you don't run out of fuel
so whos gonna surfing it?
So this has NEVER been filmed before? Yeah right!
Please direct me to ANY footage u know of re this location. Would love to see it to prove me wrong! Waiting.....
The video is great. The music is annoying as hell.
Good vid. Hated the music.
Great footage, ridiculous choice of music.
@kevinpearce hey mate, I'm a surf journalist would love to chat about this please for an article. Hit me on insta @benmondy Cheers Ben
My facebook - seair pierre and happy to talk!
big F'N deal.. a drongo on a jetski not goin' anywhere except spoiling another beautiful natural spot with fuel pollution - it'd look better without him, nice drone filming - go back to didg music like first clip..
Beautiful natural spots are meant to be appreciated, which this video does especially well with the jet ski. Get over it. Would love to see it surfed, though.
Agreed though it provides a reference to the scale.
Does not look a fun place to fall in :/
Poor filming and irritating music
