Dark and Darker is a first-person hybrid between a dungeon crawler and a role-playing game with a dark medieval fantasy setting.[4] The game blends elements from role-playing systems such as Dungeons & Dragons,[5] roguelikes, and multiplayer video games such as DayZ, and has been described[by whom?] as belonging to the "extraction" subgenre of battle royales.[6]
I love how everyone tries to block lightning bolt, lol. Cracks me up when I use it.
It doesn't help with bards, barbs, warlocks or clerics, but the Fighter's Barricade perk increases magic resist.
Geez. They said the class will be big on "skill expression" thing, seeing the endless void between the worst and the best Sorcs out there I see they quite succeeded )), that gap kinda maybe even bigger than for Druid.
both this class and druid don't have any skill expression and both need big nerfs
@@Halcyon550 LOL. Are you even aware of what "skill expression" is? Skill expression is a measure of how a class performance can vary from noob to master player. Class having "no skill expression" should perform exactly at the same level no matter now skilled the player is. i.e. even noob fighter can do sprint, heal and block effectively, while noob sorcerer or druid just CANNOT cast/shapeshift the same way masters can, so you plain wrong about that.
Noob Sorc & Druid both will be faring much worse than noob Fighter or Barb. While master Druid and Sorc both have advantage over master Fighter/Barb. I have literally no idea how you came to your conclusion other than you having no idea what the definition in discussion is.
these classes are such power creep, they can't stop giving mages longswords for whatever reason

I wonder if will/resourcefulness gear with add mem cap rolls is better than the knowledge pieces. I guess knowledge could be good since it makes the spell projectiles fire faster through the air.
knowledge affects how fast they go in the air?! i had no idea if that’s actually true
@@klahanchronicleit doesnt, its a myth that comes from the fact that magic missiles come out at a faster pace with more knowledge/cast speed
Knowledge affect tick speed for warlock cop or cleric sanctuary etc. I bet lightning storm should be. Projectile speed idk.
@@Jason.Tatane yes it does also affect lightning storm, that was half the problem with the apex lightning storm cheese (+100% cast speed makes it tick twice as fast)

Has anyone confirmed if Resourcefulness lowers Sorcerer's cooldowns or not? A lot of the knew gear has casting stats and then resourcefulness on top. Wonder if you could get like 40 will and 40 Resourcefulness and get super low cooldowns.
It does but the reso to cdr ratio is pretty ass, first softcap is at 20 reso (10% cdr) too
Tried it, at 30 resourcefulness I was about to take 7 seconds off the CD of fire orb...
It's a fairly large investment for not much gain to be honest
Is it worth actually building out resourcefulness or is that just kind of accidental? I heard it lowers spell cd but not sure how much. Also very surprised to not see windblast in the build.
As caster sorc my main problem right now is finishing people off. If I hit an ele bolt I try to chase but its hard to gauge if I'll actually win. Just need to practice more with gear I think
it lowers the cd by a little bit, but it’s not worth stacking after what i’ve experienced. somebody will figure out a good build but right now the class doesn’t seem too good
@@klahanchronicle I definitely feel it has a lot of fun stuff going on but hard to compete with Wizard without something like zap/fireball. Though tbh I hope they go the route of buffing other parts and don't give sorc a hitscan
I been telling people including Onepeg that apex is bad, and he got all butthurt about it and banned me. But here we are and yep good sorcerors aren't running apex...
This guy is good but this class still needs a buff of some sort. Feels like it's missing something
It`s not about the class, it`s about move speed meta. There`s no point in play casters till full plate fighter can easily catch u (30K Kit exception).

Is resourcefulness or knowledge good on sorc with the insta cast perk? Or would it best to just stack will?
from what i’ve experienced, stacking resource and will is the way to go since you have insta cast already

@@nickschaefer7243 best tech against barbs would be mud shield. Levitate and eruption go a long way for disrupting their rush.
