Definitely do a review of the KoK. Just cracked barrel 33 of this year and it might be the best I’ve ever had. I couldn’t even pick out notes on it. Did a side by side with GTS 2020.
My number one is my 2023 GTS. After 3 years of developing relationships, collecting and hunting , I got one for an acceptable price. If you live outside of Kentucky, KOK is impossible at a reasonable price. It’s a dream bottle. Someday…..cheers.
Curious if your ECBP C923 has a laser code in the back that starts with 22 or 23? Some are saying that those that start with 23 are superior to those that start with 22. 🎉
Great observation - I’ve tried them all and debated doing a review on the set but, overall I thought all but Eagle Rare were down from past years. I did contemplate putting ER in, but not having one myself, being limited in my sample of it, and then it did fall off a bit in the longer it just didn’t make the cut for me. Really great bottle though. That said, it’s still BTAC. If you have the chance to get one at retail they are great bottles…but if someone was going to trade or go secondary I suggest past releases.

Are you spilling the tea that Michter's is sourced from Old Forester? Living outside of Kentucky, I know finding most allocated bottles is not an option without making some great effort or cost. Still I enjoy hearing about what bottles made this list this year.
Great call, I realized that in editing I should probably not have had that presumption. Though, I think it is presumed often the older Michter’s stock is BF (so this is me using that same presumption). If it isn’t, it certainly shares similar veins.
Yeah...WT keeps increasing the prices to slow down the supply/demand chain. They were saying that they weren't going to do what BT is doing with putting out more of their products...they want to keep the amount the same...but increase the prices. That Russel's 15 year is going to be outrageously priced when it comes out!

Great selections…enjoyed the video and agree on most. I would add Stagg, Old Forrester Birthday and Wild Turkey 12 yr (Japan Release).
That WT12 was my top bottle last year! Fantastic stuff. Truthfully, I don’t even know if I tried any of the Stagg batches this year.
