She has dad's shape of face. How fascinating listening to her play! I'm also impressed by mum's English is 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾. I don’t speak Chinese so can't comment on Dad's Chinese. So happy for this family.
Chinese is very hard because it is a tonal language. English speakers have a very tough time. Some languages in Africa are also tonal languages so perhaps it is easier for Africans who speak languages other than English.

In Algeria, they all speak local Arabic dialect, in South Spain, I was impressed to hear ppl speak Spanish with the local andalus accent, even in Tanzania, at kariako Market I recall hearing a merchant speaking swahili and no one was even surprised ! He didn't have a "fancy" store like your "master" statement would suggest though... Polé !

You can't learn to run before learning to walk! Be humble! Even the Chinese have to learn from the West, letting Western companies into China's market starting 40 years ago, same is true here, you learn from the Chinese to improve yourself!
As for language, if you just look at as a mean to communicate! Then you understand why the need to learn if you need China's help! Even as brutal as colonialism was by the British, just look at how small as a nation Britain on the world map butthe whole world have to learn English now for international communication!
