The details of Victorian homes are amazing! The new homes of today are sometimes plain and boxy. I’d love to see more carved molding and intricate details come back soon. Builders save a lot of money by leaving out curves and detailed molding. Plus such details require skill, which is hard to get these days. It’s easier and quicker for them to build a giant shoe box than to build curves, octagons, and turrets…
I live in an 1898 Queen Anne Victorian, although not quite as grand as those you presented but it has all the elements.

How wonderful this homeowner used a lot of white to bring LIGHT IN!! Many Victorians were dark in decor and I love the use of white to change that!
