I have been so inspired by the beautiful chateau related channels I watch on UA-cam, like Chateau Diaries, Dreaming of a Chateau, Doing It Ourselves etc that I decided to give our guest room a dreamy and elegant makeover! Nearly everything I decorate with is a thrift store, garage sale, or auction find. My husband and I live in a Folk Cottage Style Victorian home and I love looking for unique antiques to compliment our historical home.

Your bathroom is absolutely stunning and I love the glass partition in shower, the little cherub tile is adorable and I love the recess in the shower for your toiletries. All the hardware is gorgeous and I love the lamp. I'm hoping to have my bathroom done this year only it is going to need a lot of work will basically be stripped right back to plaster and start from scratch, my bathroom is very small, yours is absolutely spacious. In the UK our bathroom lights must be closed in so I think a lantern like yours would not be permitted. Your bathroom is similar to my tastes,must be lovely in that gorgeous bath with bubbles and a saucer of champagne. So pretty and feminine.

Ok, my first thought when I saw that that lovely bath tub filling up is, "I'll be right over!", lol. So lovely Selena. The marble, the fixtures, the window treatment, just everything. I also love the shade of green on the walls which provides an over all soothing environment. A total success.🤗

I often wonder about the history of each antique piece and who once used or owned each item. One of my favorite movies is The Wedding Dress where is shows the history of each person that once owned and wore the dress on their wedding day. Antiques have a history and people like yourself that take care of beautiful items and restore them, keep their stories alive . Thank you for sharing.

Your bathroom : the shower is fantastic. I have seen showers that are transparent, but you planned it superbly and the division wall with privacy for the toilet is excellent. I had a bath tub like that in the 80s and it was great for cooling off, relaxing in warm water when tired or achy, love the fixtures for the towels, faucet, and handles, and how you managed to bring everything together in your liking. Great work! You have excellent decor ideas! High 5!
