I have this utility knife for over 6 years now. metallic paint coating is all gone. gave it a polished aluminum finish.

I had the quick slide for almost 10 years . A very safe knife and it help up to everything I put it to and the blade change is quick and holds the blade very well . I lost mine on a job site . Gutted as it had been a trusted companion . I replaced it with the same model . They get better with wear . Only downside is no blade storage

Definitely the best knife. You do have to wear it in at first but doesn't take long.
Holds up to anything I do with it

ever since i tried the Tirant Razor V3, it's replaced all my other utility knives. most importantly, it's for actual EDC #realedc

This knife is awesome. But the Husky kills it. Just as tough and small but sells for $8 compared to $16 for the Stanley Quickslide.
The knife that I’m interested in is the Stanley 10-707.

Yeah quickslide is definitely wrong for this knife. The sliding mechanism is extremely hard, to the point of hurting your fingers if you use it constantly.

Hundred percent agree . Just took mine out the package and can’t slide it back at all or push it up
