Stands was GAMB , field was NOASB. That’s how I’ve scored it at least. I felt like NOASB was a bit thrown off in the stands and mellow and trombones carried for NO, just like the Tubas and trumpets for GAMB. It was a fun battle to watch/listen though!

This, federal raid, Spain, and the Gohan theme song were my favorites.
As a retired NO bands men I can respect that ya’ll won fair and square but to act like this was a clean sweep or that ya’ll had the crown is BS! Ya’ll beat the best and most consistent summer band in a very tight battle. Most people are calling this the best summer band battle ever so now ya’ll won a 7 game series against the best not 4 game sweep. Ya’ll have the crown now enjoy it.
Only thing I hope is we bring back some of our top hitters as far as players and arrangers from previous years like Brian Simmons and Kenneth Coleman.
Any other band that is out now and they would’ve won the battle, but GAMB had the arrangers to match and the more balanced sound.
Next year…
We won in 5 or 6 NGL. If we’re judging off rounds there was 15 total and it was 12-3 imo🫡

Noasb percussion section way to big for there band need to put half the drums on horns way to many drums
very smart guy....Dude, i said the Exact same thing.. they had waaay too many drums..their drum section was bigger than any college band i've seen. Those drums covered a bit of their power, And almost completely drowned their Tubas. My advice was cut half of that Massive drum section and get at least 8 more Tubas.. a band that size and larger should have NO less than 18 tubas imo. This was a hell of a battle. I say overall, N.O definitely took the field but Georgia had a slight edge and took the stands. Both bands made mistakes.. Georgia with their setup on the field and N.O. will their imbalance with the drums and tubas. From what i've heard, N.O is suppose to be going to Georgia next year. lol, i truly believe that battle may be better than this year's
