- Koh Mook really is a gem of an island, until we did a four island tour whilst on Koh Lanta where we visited the Emerald cave, we hadn’t heard of it but when we saw it from the side of a boat we decided to spent 2 nights there after Koh Lanta which then quickly turned into a whole week. This island pulled on our heart strings with its lovely inhabitants and beaches, we’ll definitely be back one day.
Koh Mook is perfect if you’re after the quiet beach life, it’s not a party island and doesn’t have too many boats coming and going (which is great) it does however have lovely restaurants, we had many a papaya salads :-)
The sunsets at Charlie beach are not to be missed with a cocktail in hand followed by dinner with some amazing fresh fish restaurants this small island ticks many of our boxes for a chilled vibe. We also went kayaking and snorkelling which is not on camera but also highly recommended.

Very much recommend Koh Mook, we booked for 2 nights initially but ended up staying 6 nights, loved the chilled vibes of this island.
