- The SuperDual T comes from Italy to India thanks to Motoroyale. The makers SWM, Chinese-owned, are the Italian company that acquired all of Husqvarna’s assets when KTM purchased the brand off BMW Motorrad a few years ago.
The SuperDual is a 600cc single-cylinder dirtbike-based motorcycle that uses the Husqvarna TE610’s engine as base. SKD-assembled in India, the SuperDual T is the more expensive of two models, possible the most dirt-bikey road legal bike in India.
Unfortunately. it’s quite expensive at prices hovering around the ₹7 lakh ex-showroom mark. Should you be saving up? Watch the road test!

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

TEST BENCHES
The checkup of performances and the reliability control made by SWM engineers are supported by state of the art test benches. The traditional and dynamic benches for competition engines, the specific chassis benches, the homologation and anti-pollution benches, the ABS test benches and the global check testing benches at the end of the manufacturing cycle for the final quality certification of the product.
QUALITY CONTROL

That’s why the Quality Control department carefully supervises al the products; it’s a high level process, with a deep know-how and specific tools. The control is enforced in each step of the project, to obtain an exemplary quality manufacture.
ASSEMBLY PLANT
The motorcycles assembly is entrusted to a modern and adjustable assembly plant designed to ensure maximum reliability and the best efficiency standards. That’s why it’s not seen as a simple assembly of parts, but as an accurate composition of elements able to obey the highest quality ranges. The deep technical knowledge, the advanced Italian manufacturing cycle and the soundness of Shineray Group, allowed us to shoot ahead and to be competitive in the market in a short time frame and with well defined plans.

Too long a post to read. Especially it's difficult to have confidence in an advertorial. The SWM is the same price as a Suzuki DR650, will both companies be around in ten years? I know who my money is on.

Is it single cylinder. But two exhaust pipes are there.

I believe it is called dual because of the dual exhaust valves and ports, two valves isn't unusual but twin exhaust ports are not very common. Hence the confusing name.
Motorcycle is good....... Price is not good.... And we need more warranty over made in China motorcycles...AT least 3 years..

wîrelessKÏller only 49% and still made it Italy, unlike Benelli 100% owned by Chinese & built in China. I have a SWM 650 Superduel & a Benelli 1130 TREK ( 2014 model - when they were made in Italy)

No its built in Italy , most parts ( except plastics & some other minor parts are made in China ) also 51% owned by Italian & 49% china
