Unfortunately, we were only allowed the cardigan on the winter uniform. The cardigan was optional, but it was only for the winter uniform. Also, I don't think we were allowed to wear jackets! I haven't heard anything about not being able to wear jackets, but NOBODY wore jackets, so I was like "okay" We were only allowed black tights in the winter, but people worked there way around to stay warm. I wore black thigh highs UNDERNEATH my black tights and you couldn't tell. I also wore long sleeves under my winter uniform to stay warm too. It's all about layering!
If your referring to high school exchange, I believe the minimum age is 15 and the maximum age is 18 (but all programs are different)! If you're 19, I believe some programs can work with that ;^)

I'm not entirely sure what the question is asking, but to me, the strictest rule they had about the girls uniforms would be the socks. We had to wear white ankle socks if we did not wear tights. If you wore the black tights, you had to wear black socks. Also, when we were in the gym uniform, you had to wear white socks and it was sort of a pain to change the socks back and forth, so sometimes the girls would just wear our black socks and hope the gym teachers wouldn't notice lol (sometimes they did)

Some programs require you to be able to have a certain knowledge of Japanese, but my program did not require any background knowledge. I self-studied, but still only knew the basics (greetings, or you know, typical anime basics lolol) and I still did just fine. In a way, you learn way faster going to Japan with little knowledge because you'll learn so much! Excited for you!
I realy want to go to japan to study abroad for the hole year I'm going to I dont know where in japan Tokyo Osaka or kyoto which area of japa. Do you reacamed like I'm 13 im almost turing 14 so I might ask my 2 older brothers to help look for a high school in japan and I'm also taking my dog with hes almost turing 1 year old wish my good luck

If you wearing a skirt that are visible and easily see through, then I recommend you wear a shorts for hiding your "sake". Even though in anime, girls skirt "sake" are being blowing by the wind for no reason and boy's dream will be destroyed. If that happens in real life, I'll be mad 😂
