she has self healing in her kit, she can literally run MH when paired with furina and be HP positive
For those of you who are out of the loop, they buffed Clorinde A1 passive from 17% of her attack to 20%, and dealing 1530 additional damage to dealing 1800 additional damage. For context, a decent built Yun Jin with decent crit rate/ recharge and defense can give you 1400 additional damage for 30 hits at talent level 8. So yeah Clorinde seems to be pretty good
they also buffed her normal attack multipliers by ~10% across the board, buffed her signature weapon making it i think ~6-12% stronger than mistsplitter and slightly nerfed her C1
Thank goodness. I can understand not wanting characters to be broken like Neuvi and Furina were but I at least expect new damage dealers to be roughly on Arlecchino or Navia’s level going forward. Some interesting playstyle/gimmick with some decently high damage attached. It doesn’t have to be higher than what we already have but it should also not be so low that it feels bad to play them over other characters

@@FlashKillerX Arlecchino is way above Navia's level, and above Furina's level as well. Furina isn't even broken, seems pretty on par with Xingqiu/Yelan level. She works well on a wide variety of teams, but she's only super strong with Neuvilette because HE is broken.

people like to say Sigewinne as no damage but her ult (no vape) does 43k per hit, not even on emblem, on the free inazuma bow, with the sumeru hydro set (wanted something to boost her CA and skill too) so could do even more with better gear, better weapon and ofc vape

Sethos seems pretty cool, using energy for something other than a burst is pretty novel, am mean there is Shimenawa but it's first time it's in a character's kit. Maybe we'll get a character that has a multi-use burst soon.

Ikr, like, why would you want to stay that long on an animation on a healer? Unless is kokomi, who has it on her regular attack so she can work on dendro teams whenever, but in a burst? I dunno about that
@@alexferrier5732 She seems to be the same archetype as Kokomi and Dehya. Both are off-field supports that play at being DPS during their burst. But, unfortunately, she lacks good elemental application, and hydro is too useful, with too many strong character options. Her bonus to off-field E damage is something, but when hydro ties into all sorts of damage dealing reactions, it has to provide enough benefit to compensate for that. And her healing doesn't seem that strong either compared to alternatives. Like she sits sort of halfway between Kokomi and Dehya. So, yeah, at the moment, she's looking to be a worse alternative to Kokomi, though with the benefit of not being tied to a location.
I expect that they'll tweak her support aspects. I really, really hope they fix up her elemental app. But her damage, yeah, it's going to be lackluster.
And for those thinking C2 for that debuff for the likes of Furina or Neuv, put those wishes toward Furina instead. C2 provides healer tax relief, opening up more healer character options, while C6 Furina removing the healer tax will just provide a far, far greater benefit.
Short of it: they should have made her geo. Weak elemental app wouldn't matter nearly as much there, far fewer characters to compete against, and no proper geo healer.

Clorinde's animations are amazing and she seems fun to play as well, will try my best to obtain her but with my gacha luck I am not too hopeful.

@@dalzmcWell it's all subjective. Personally I think Cyno is one of my most fun units to play, equipped with Thundering Fury you're basically playing whack-a-mole with his skill.
A majority of DPS either spam attack, hold n release or mix the two, Clorinde wouldn't be that different from what other DPS are already offering.
@@dalzmc she remind me of my fav character in the game: al haitham. Been playing him for more than a year and im not even bored. I pull several dps but I always come back with him. So for me she going to be super fun :D
i know you said you “may” do a sethos release, but i am soooo excited for a sethos and would really appreciate it!! Sethos is definitely the character im most excited for, and intend to use him in his CA DPS style, since i really like other CA DPS like Ganyu, Tighnari and Lyney. My favorite character from the 4.7 release and very excited to meet him this update during cyno’s story quest 💜🧡

Just a little recent buff Clorinde got as far as I know: her reaction based passive got buffed to having a cap of 1,800 instead of 1,530. Also it is 20% instead of 17%. Do correct me of this is wrong though

Yeah but honestly for an agravate im sticking with my keqing. I was making numbers and honestly keqing with Thundering Fury and some ER spam so much skills that Clorinde its hardly an upgrade. Ofc in her own right shes strong just not arlechino lvs just good

I had experienced the same with Dehya. Since then I stopped hyping and spending no top-up. Even now I still feel resentful toward HYV for Dehya's treatments. You won't be enraged or melancholy with little to no expectation. Anyway, I don't think SW will be discarded to the standard banner unlike Dehya. Imo, it's acceptable if they just fix her terrible hydro aaplication(if leaks are true). There is no way they will fix her stupid time consuming ult so don't bother. I will at least get a copy of SW regardless.

Any opinion on whether she can work on national or hyperbloom triggers similar to raiden national and hyperbloom triggers?
for example: Clorinde Xingqiu Bennet Xiangling or Clorinde Nahida Xingqiu Yelan
I'm planning to pull her if she works similarly to the Raiden team.
I saw an interesting post on Chinese forums saying that Sigewinne could be Klee's ticket to kicking out Bennett. The idea is that since Furina and Klee have similar dmg contributions without Bennett, a Hydro healer which buffs and batteries Furina as well as stacking fanfare quickly would do better than Bennett buffing Klee. Sigewinne's healing style and low Hydro app make her suited to this role

Clorinde and Sethos being both quicken carries makes me question if elemental reactions are even part of the design process.
They are, and it goes like this:
If pyro, you pair it with hydro.
if hydro. you put that shit on everything.
if dendro, you pair it with electro.
if electro, you pair it with dendro.
if anemo, you slap 4p VV and it works with everything.
if cryo, you pair it with hydro or more cryo.

@SuperBeanSquad Taser has almost always been a thing since people realized how strong Beidou+Fischl is. This was not a post-Dendro discovery.
I mean yeah Overvape is preferred to pure Overload before Chevvy and Superconduct is dead in the water, but Taser has always been strong lol

They do work. It's one of the highest dps team for both fischl and clorinde. Slam nahid and yunjin c6 and it's might be the team with the highest dps in the game.

@@anoniemousse4328 Oh, nice. Sadly, Navia would wreck Chevreuse's big passive in this grouping. Alternatively, you could use Clorinde, Noelle, Lisa, and Sigewinne. Plenty of guns and roses there.
I have no idea what hoyo is cooking with siegwinne, I feel they're afraid of powercreeping Kokomi for the off-field hydro healer role but it's not like this role is all that relevant for kokomi nowadays.
I guess they have to make one cons bait char who is bad , there has to be balance. Op unit after OP unit will start wars.
Kokomi was bad since the first day in that role, because her Skill applies Hydro in a small area, is static and has a long cooldown. Sacrificial Fragments is a thing, but then you had to sacrifice the main buff she was able to give (TTDS), and return on-field, with a character that basically doesn’t even do off-field damage.
It was decent for Freeze because that reaction keeps the enemies from moving away, but even then it was often bad in case of multi-wave.
We didn’t really have any other option for off-field AoE Hydro application, so Kokomi was the best despite being bad at it.
The off-field Hydro application was always a side thing for her, who was designed mostly as a hybrid on-field DPS/Driver and healer.
I doubt Hoyoverse is really trying to not powercreep a side role Kokomi isn’t even good at. If anything, they might be planning to release another character for that, hopefully before the end of Snezhnaya.

I foresaw this way back when Dendro was released. Everyone will eventually get tired of running the same team that everyone hyped way back then. That being said, still looking forward for Clorinde, seems promising as an Electro dps
I can see Clorinde, Furina, Nahida(on Prototype Amber), Bennett, being a thing. Bennett heals so much and fast (if this team allows him to) that can be able to cover a normal attack worth of Bond of Life, so you can NAx2 > E, instead of NAx3 > E. Furina's not so good application, paired with Nahida's dense application will leave room for Quicken. Also Bennett's ATK buff makes it easier to close up to 3k, so you can build EM Sands, maybe even EM Goblet thanks to Furina, which will result in higher Hyperbloom/Aggravate DMG. Also Furina allows Marachausse, so you almost don't need to build Crit Rate on Clorinde, when paired with her passive.
I was hoping she would be an electro charged centred dps since she literally looks like the reaction. Electro charged is also a very fun although not the best reaction.

After Arlecchino gave me an actual reason to use Chevreuse other than Yoimiya cope, I really hoped Clorinde's ATK scaling could justify using Sara with her, but if the benefits she gets from ATK buffs are capped then it seems like Sara will just have to stay in the dungeons

Imagine you could infuse Fischl's NAs with Electro. That's basically Clorox. Even the damage is pretty similar as far as I've seen.
keqing is a quick swap unit, while clorinde actually wants to spend a lot of time on field, they'll play differently

Wait for more updates about Clorinde and hope HYV buffs her multipliers. Arlecchino is only a slight upgrade to Hu Tao at low cons and mid investment and Xiangling can certainly do Arlecchino's job more comfortably if you want to use an AoE pyro dps. Pyro does not lack good 5* on-field dps characters but Electro certainly does. C0 Raiden is mid and not really meta right now, Keqing is weaker than most limited 5*s, and Cyno is frustratingly restrictive and expensive to be made competitive (Baizhu and Furina fit his long ass on-field duration). If I'm not mistaken, Clorinde as of now is not burst-dependent, has really quick gameplay that gives you some invincibility, and a BoL gimmick that's much safer than Arlecchino's. Though, I'm not sure if Clorinde is as convenient to use as Neuvillette.
I'm assuming c1 Hu Tao it you bothered to pull for Homa. While Arlecchinno seems to be (for now) stronger than Clorinde, already having Hu Tao would offer you more coverage with Clorinde. I'd wait untill the last days of the banner, we should have Clorinde final kit by them. Usually units in beta go through 3 rounds of changes, the second one being the biggest. She had one as of writing

How good would it be to have Albedo, Chiori, Sigewinne and Gorou? Cos Chiori could use bond of life artifact and weapon. Chiroi would get about 80% dmg, 50ish% atk, 40% crit dmg and 1800 flat skill dmg (also song of the past work buff would help)
I really hope they make changes that make sigewinne worth pulling for. I was hoping to add a hydro healer to one of my accounts that does not have kokomi.

Im actually fine with her being more quicken and hypperbloom oriented since I ahve a C4 Raiden who i dont use with dendro.
PLEASE do a pre release on sigewinne 😭 ive been trying to do my own calculations, she seems to heal slightly better than kokomi (IF she holds her skill), but applies less hydro. She has whole team healing with her skill (similar to baizu ) which to me is better than healing one character at a time.

I really want Sigewinne but I noticed that her kit feels a little clunky. I don't think that she'll be of much use to me especially since I have Kokomi.

Less value for sure but yes, you can define use both. Raiden is way better at off field application for hyperbloom or paired with Neuvi. Clorinde is expected to be better with Navia, Arle and on field carry at c0. Also offers a lot of on field mobility. Early to tell, her kit will still change.

Wouldn't Yun Jin be great for her outside Dendro teams. Her attacks are really fast in gun mode and as you said count as Normals.
The problem that Yun Jin tends to face is that, yes, she can buff certain certain characters pretty well, but she's always the bridesmaid, never the bride. Even for normal attack characters, Benny, Furina, and so on tend to provide greater benefit, especially as these alternatives bring both their buffs/debuffs and elemental application to the table, and typically greater personal damage. Yun Jin, though, is geo and lacks in the DPS department. And unless what you bring is crazy strong and desirable, heads above the alternatives (Zhongli's situation), that's not a good thing.
So Yun Jin might be fine with Clor, but she most likely won't be meta.

Can someone explain me about her crit rate passive? Can you always get the max 20% crit rate when shes on field?
i think so? the passive seems to say that, if she has 100%+ bol, if you increase/decrease her bol, that will give her a crit rate buff, and that buff will last for 15s. meaning that the 100%+ bol is only a condition to activate the effect, not to keep it going. so even if you lose all your bond of life, you'll still have the crit until the 15s pass
