played against this in chime a few times by now and honestly for all those flashy moves, they all do basically no posture and you can just hold f with no downside but if you can manage a good uppercut combo the payoff is huge
i definitely agree, at 1400 elo right now ive dropped at least 60 elo by using reveal, i would usually 5 bar the opponent but reveal literally does 4/5th of my hp and i get hit twice and im done, i think the oath is amazing concept but it needs some serious revision before it gets meta, would not work in top chime at all
If you're in ganks people tend to be careless, always use reveal if you're below 40%, it withers your health instead of draining it (i.e flame within) and if you're any good you'll be able to pop it, quickly get damage in and deactivate it later. ...Overall the oath feels terrible still LOL, the amount of micromanagement you need to make it viable is unbelievable and gets you thinking more about the oath and how you'll proc its talents than your own mantras, expect heavy reworks or tweaks to it.

With this oath all you get is a roll catch and good uppercuts
reveal is definitely a big trade off, but sometimes it can be good to pop for the extra combo damage if ur able to Land them, u can end fights rlly quick with the right build.
for those who thinks they know everything about this oath already, know that you can't always figure out all of the tech in the first 3 days of release. not saying that one small tech discovery will make this oath extremely strong, just know that it'll take a bit to figure out, especially with patches that are likely changing bladeharper in the coming weeks
I mean ig it's based off shikais and bankais because ur fighting urself and then u get like a mode type stuff so maybe like make reveal give u a longer flash step and drain and wither ether instead because it's more weapon based

idea for reveal: get 1 ironsing, when you are about 1-2 bars pop the iron tower mantra thing, then use reveal. it gives wither, does not do actual dmg. so you can have a huge boost for around 90 seconds for free.
they should rework the oath for the passives from reveal to always be active and using reveal instead is just a damage increase like 5% more dmg or smth (true strength should either be removed or turned into 5% more dmg on flourish instead of 5 hits)
It might be good to use this one a weapon like trident spear as its multi hit will proc true strength which could be pretty reliable. Palm strike into crit could probably proc it easily because of the stun and most people probably wont be able to react in time but idk though.
Tone down reveals wither & a similar thing to arcsuits ending s. Give the slashes a bit of cd (more than dash), for that 1 talent make it 3 hits for heavy, 5 for medium n 7 for light while fixin that curved bug. Dunno what to do for mantras. (Rlly rlly neat oath tho)

also who would be using a curved build with bladeharper does it not need like 75 med and like 100 hvy or light at that point use trident spear it does the same
