Guys Im sorry this took sooo long to come but the copyright battles we have had with this movie is crazy and also the quality is a bit messed up due to camera issues but none the less I hope you enjoy the reaction much love!!!!
Happy to finally see it! Surprised Monica agreed to watch due to such violence lol but a welcome surprise to be sure!
Deadpool 2 (watch the “SuperDuperF***ingCut”) should be seen after watching Logan, which is also rated R and a masterpiece.
Monica probably not going to want watch bc it’s much more violent with slim amount of comedy as it’s very serious. But is a top 3 best “superhero” genre film of all time.

In case you missed it, that whole fight was on a heli-carrier, a nod to the avengers.
These movies are so good I haven't found a single person who didn't enjoy them.

So fun fact "Bob" the man Deadpool knew is actually from the comics and goes by "Hydra Bob. He was a former member of Hydra who still wore his outfit and helped out Deadpool. But as Deadpool was a Fox film under the X-Men IP they couldn't use Hydra as that's own by Disney/Marvel Studios so they just made him a random Merc. That whole end fight where Bob was also took place outside and on a decommissioned Helicarrier the same type of flying ships used by S.H.I.E.L.D. in the MCU. It has a different design but it's 100% a carrier with massive engines on the sides, no information on how owns it though in this film but even with legal rights the Fox X-Men Universe could have their own S.H.I.E.L.D. and Nick Fury. Maybe Hydra exists as well but all of this can't be mentioned in the film.
But Deadpool 3 is confirmed to be apart of the MCU so that's existing. I expect Deadpool 3 to at least run into some MCU characters like Avengers characters or even alternate versions of Avengers, Maybe Scarlet Witch, Doctor Strange, Iron Man who knows.

If I didn't go through this whole journey of watching you guys go through all of the MCU, I wouldn't be able to truly appreciate the sacrifice Monica is making watching this movie for us, and at the same time, I wouldn't be able to absolutely enjoy her reactions to EVERYTHING in this movie 🤣😂🤣😂

It can make people feel sick, film or no film, at least she sat there and watched it all the way through, seeing someone getting chopped up isn't exactly a major part of the film to watch, besides she already knows its happening hence why she looks away.

Deadpool 2 has a Christmas version called "Once Upon a Deadpool" which tones down the violence a lot, and adds more jokes in its place. Just putting it out there as an option for Monica's sake.

it's really good that monica joined this reaction despite this being an r-rated movie, it's good not only so that she can easily understand deadpool 3 but even some of the future mcu projects are sort of r-rated like, deadpool 3, marvel zombies, blade, etc

17:00, Negasonic Teenage Warhead is actually the name of a song by the group Monster Magnet. Comics writer Grant Morrison loved the title so much he named this character after it. Originally NTW was just a psychic but her powers in the comics were evolved to what is shown in Deadpool.
I would have to say hers is one of the coolest comics names.

Whilst blindfolded, I have disassembled and reassembled an M-16 rifle, an M2 .50 cal machine gun, and an M19 grenade launcher. The trick is to always put parts in the same place, and memorize where each part is.

This released in 2016. From Fox who owned X-Men characters. Disney, who owns MCU, bought Fox in 2019.
So now we can see MCU, X-Men, and Fantastic 4 characters together legally. They are all Marvel characters.
The movie rights for X-men and F4 were sold by Marvel in 1993. Disney bought Marvel in 2009 New Year’s Eve.
So bc the rights were sold beforehand, Disney legally couldn’t own them until Disney obtained 21st Century Fox.

The reason the lady with Francis is also able to handle the hits from Colossus is that, in order for the bones to handle the extra muscle mass, they have to be thicker and more sturdy, as well as the internal organs, or else the muscles would destroy them.

deadpool isint a mutant in the comics, hes a mutate, just like spiderman. deadpool got hit powers from the weapon x program and not some dormant mutant gene.

So little correction, Deadpool was owned by Fox who of course owned the rights to the X-Men. So they were free to use any X-Men character they wanted but for reasons only two were featured. I think you were meant to say that Deadpool is being brought over into the MCU with Deadpool 3 as of 2019 Marvel/Disney own the right to the X-Men now so we may see MCU characters like Wanda in Deadpool 3 alongside X-Men characters and maybe other Avengers who knows. There's also rumours of the TVA being involved from Loki who oversee the multiverse so maybe that's how Deadpool is brought over into the MCU.
Deadpool takes place in the new timeline created in Days of Future Past where Mystique (Raven) doesn't kill Bolivar Trask the creator of the Sentinels. This creates a whole new future post 1973 where things are similar to the timeline of old but with big changes such as how characters met, events, and of course character origins. This is why this Deadpool has no connection to the one in X-Men Origins: Wolverine the events of that film just never happened so we get a whole new Deadpool origin.

X-Men: First Class - *1962*
X-Men: Days of Future Past - *1973*
X-Men: Apocalypse - *1983*
X-Men: Dark Phoenix - *1992*
Deadpool - 2016

@@Jamie2- I think Deadpool 3 will most likely be set in the year of release like the past film. Or it could take place right after Deadpool 2 in 2018 but because the film could be dealing with alternate realties who knows what year they'll be set in. There's rumours that Earth-838 from Multiverse of Madness will be a big part of Deadpool with the Wolverine we see in the behind the scenes clips being the Logan of Earth-838. Going for a classic 1990s Animated Series look like Charles. I believe Earth-838 is 2022, 2023 maybe around there anyways by the time we see it in Multiverse of Madness.

From what I understand Deadpool's mutation goes hand in hand with his "looks":
He has - as far as I know - the by far strongest regeneration/healing factor of all Marvel characters. Stronger even than Wolverine. In some comics he regenerates from a single cell.
However, this rapid cell growth also caused the cancer in his body to spread everywhere. It is now continuously eating his body and the only thing keeping it at bay is his healing factor.
HOWEVER - Deadpool actual true power is the fact that he is (almost) the only character who knows that they are a comic book character. That's why he even in the comics breaks the fourth wall and sometimes even talks to himself from a few panels ahead.
46:58 No spoiler for the next movie. But in the comics, the character Cable (that Deadpool mentioned) is the son of X-Man Cyclops and a clone of his lover Jean Grey.

I love this movie, partly because I recognize practically every single outdoor location in it... Tons of movies are filmed here, but out of all of them somehow Deadpool stands out as being one of the most Vancouver (and nearby areas - I see you Royal Roads University pretending to be the X-men mansion!) movies ever.
Is it violent?
At times yes.....most of the times.
(At 23:25) THOSE are his cancer cells spreading out through his body, disfiguring him.
You didn't get the one joke. "Don't make the super suit green. Or animated." It's a reference to "The Green Lantern" which Ryan Reynolds starred in.

They don't do a great job of explaining his mutation in the movie. Deadpool gets a crazy healing ability, which comes with a turbocharged metabolism. When that triggers, along with his metabolism his cancer is also thusly affected, and spreads at a crazy rate, infiltrating every organ including our biggest organ; our skin. The transformation in the oxygen tube is the mutation finally activating and essentially causing his entire body to become cancerous, but the same mutation constantly saves him from death. In fact, in the comics, he has regenerated from as little as a single drop of blood.
He would have to be cured of cancer (all of them) for his appearance to potentially return to normal.
Just as an FYI: What happened to his skin is that the cancer has spread to his entire body, so his appearance is just skin cancer over his entire body.

In case no one's said it:
The reason Colossus seems so underwhelming against the Woman in final fight isn't so much that he's weaker than her.
He IS stronger, as shown by how many of her punches he actually takes, and still goes with no problem.
The issue is partly what Rico said about he's bigger and is a bit clumsy with it. Mostly he's a pacifist. He HATES fighting, which another reason why he's kinda clumsy in combat.
He's basically a shield, not a hammer, and he prefers it that way.
Leaving out the don't swallow reaction is sacrilege I tell ya 😂

The reason that Deadpool's skin is so crazy is because his Cancer also super regenerates. Every cell in his body is constantly in a flux between healthy and cancerous. This also means that he can't be mind controlled, because his brain is constantly shifting to Psychics can't get a permanent hold on him.
In the comics, he actually does keep the cure for blindness under the floorboards along with the cocaine

I think most of us know just about all of Dead Pool Powers and abilities but there are two that are the main ones that make him be more of what he is supposed to be and those powers are of course what gave him the name of the Merk with a mouth his way of attacking with his own way of humour and never ending fourth wall breaking reality and that happens in everything he does from books, animations, Video games by al of a sudden fighting his opponent with his health bar and movies by talking to the viewers, Uh did I mis any thing!? please can any one tell me😅

You’d think bc how grand the mcu is they would be more likely to take risks. However they are so big that if a risk fails they’d lose money (all they care about). If they don’t change up something tho it’ll keep going south.
Also the X-Men powers are many times so much cooler than Avengers.
Also X-Men have R rated Logan and R rated DP. DP hits all the right buttons for his character and is beloved. Paved the way for Logan to be rated R. But Logan is just simply top 3 best Superhero genre films of all time.

39:31 Most mutants and superheroes heal faster than normal humans. They might not have like deadpool or wolverine regen powers but they generally heal up much much faster than normal humans.
Fun fact: many theaters reported that there was significantly less trash after Deadpool compared to other films.
