@@mesaybimrew9750 ... Depends on the country, the city and the job you want I'd say.
From my experience, getting so good that you'll get a job on a single language is hard. It just takes time to get good. And ... That's my opinion but MySQL is more a tool towards an end rather than a career choice. Unless you're really, really good.
However, (in my country at least) you can get a job being okish in a "stack" meaning a database language + backend language + frontend language. Then you're asked to get good on one of the three (usually front or back, and I choose back, java), while understanding what's happening around.
I'd say that's the minimum knowledge you need to start looking for a job. It should take 6-9 months with some dedication.
You should also check about DevOps
Then again, by no means you'll be an expert. So you might have to do several interviews.

@@mesaybimrew9750 Well this video gives you most of what you need to know, but to truly learn something you have to actually do it as there is so much which you can only learn through experience. Not to mention the fact SQL on its own is useless without something that has a need for a database, such as a website which obviously requires a different set of languages.
But this is certainly a step in the right direction!

Just wanted to say this is awesome, you are awesome. All of these tutorials that cover a wide amount of programming topics AND fund-raise for good causes is really something to see. If that wasn't enough and a 6 hour video is a little daunting to new learners, you have 6 minute(!) videos that cover snippets of important programming topics, all while being the best alternative to videos covering the same topics that are at least 15 minutes long (sometimes 45+!) of filler and rambling.

For everyone wondering why updating a row is giving you an error code of 1175 you need to set the columns in backticks example
SET `employee_id` = 1
WHERE `first_name` = "Eugene"
backticks are used to reference columns
do turn off safe mode

The backticks you've mentioned are used in MySQL to quote identifiers, such as column names. They can be particularly useful if your identifier names include spaces, hyphens, or other characters that might otherwise cause a syntax error,
If you want to run an UPDATE statement that doesn't include a key in the WHERE clause, and you're getting error 1175, you can turn off the safe update mode. You can do this by running the following command:
SET SQL_SAFE_UPDATES = 0;
Then, you can run your UPDATE statement
