She deserves Padmashree. But unfortunately the Union Government will not recognise the south indian artists like they did with Janaki Amma.
Sujatha is always neglected due to the over popularity of her contemporary. She deserved minimum 3 national awards. 2 times almost she won it, but last minutes changes were made and they removed her name.
This is how our world functioning. Always celebrating one person and honouring them several times and neglecting the equally talented people.

Hats off to interviewer and Sujatha Mam and her husband , from the start till end kept its non stop laugh . Interviewer did a wonderful job and created a comfortable environment to share their views on their own without pressuring them . In India Simi Garewals interviews used to be like that and we miss such kind of interviews in Tamil , we expect more such interviews from Jinnadhatan
